Abstract

Image results from quality edge detection are not optimal. From these problems a method is needed to improve the image quality of edge detection. The method used is Dilation Morphology on the results of edge detection of batik patterns. The results of testing the improved image quality of edge detection 10 batik patterns using Dilation Morphology show that Canny operators are able to produce very high accuracy from operators Robert and Sobel, with the percentage of Canny operators is 80%. While Robert operators with a percentage of 40% and Sobel operators 60%. The application of Dilation Morphology to operators Robert, Sobel and Canny can improve image quality of edge detection and improve accuracy in batik patterns.

Abstract

The results of the edge detection process using several operators are not yet optimal. Therefore we need a method to improve the quality of edge detection images, the method used in this study is morphology dilation. The results of testing the improvement of image quality using 10 batik patterns, resulting in an accuracy level on Laplacian of Gaussian operators is 80% and for Prewitt operators is 60%. In the process of improving the edge detection quality, Morphology Dilation can connect broken edges using structuring elements. therefore it can improve the quality of edge images.

Abstract

Bukit Vitka Educity terletak secara terintegrasi dengan Kampus Institut Teknologi Batam dan Politeknik Pariwisata Batam dalam komplek Tiban Ayu, dimana kawasan ini menjadi tujuan wisata masyarakat sekitar untuk melihat matahari terbenam. Pada bukit ini ditanami rumput gajah untuk menambah keindahan, dengan permasalahan bahwa tanaman ini memerlukan kelembaban tanah yang tinggi karena akarnya yang hanya berjarak beberapa centimeter dari permukaan tanah. Oleh sebab itu, untuk membantu menjaga kelembaban tanah pada bukit Vitka Educity, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menawarkan rancangan “Sistem Penyiraman Rumput Di Bukit Vitka Educity Secara Otomatis”.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin pesat pada awal abad 20 telah melahirkan teknologi informasi dan proses produksi yang dikendalikan secara otomatis. Sebagaimana yang dihadapi Indonesia saat ini, revolusi industri 4.0 telah mendorong inovasi-inovasi teknologi yang memberikan dampak disrupsi atau perubahan fundamental terhadap kehidupan masyarakat. Abstract

Forest is a gift from the Almighty God that we have to preserve, forests are very useful in the survival of humans, but due to human activity itself can damage forests such as cutting down trees wildly and burning forests to make land. The most forest fires occur from year to year, namely Indonesia resulting from forest fires will have a lot of negative impacts that occur on all living things. Therefore a forest fire detection system is needed to minimize forest fires. In this study the authors made a forest fire detection system using an Arduino-based microcontroller. The tools used are in the form of Arduino uno, Arduino mega 2560, fire sensor, MQ-7 smoke sensor and sim 800l module this tool is made so that the fire does not spread and expand. the workings of this system are when the fire and smoke sensors detect fire and smoke in the forest location, the data will be processed and directly the forested sim800l module sends sms to the sim800l module located in the office according to the number specified and the data received will produce output in the form of sirens from the buzzer, marker lights, and LCD as a description of the location of the fire. From the results of all testing tools that are made to work as expected. It can be concluded that each sensor has the maximum distance to detect smoke and fire, the sim800l module sends a message in 10 seconds, and the sound of the siren on the buzzer will live according to the conditions specified.

Abstract

Industri pengemasan air minum kemasan merupakan sektor yang berkembang pesat dalam respons terhadap permintaan global akan air minum yang praktis dan bersih. Alat penghitung botol air minum kemasan adalah komponen kunci dalam proses produksi yang bertujuan untuk memenuhi standar kualitas dan kuantitas yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan dan harapan pelanggan. Meskipun berperan krusial, alat ini seringkali dihadapkan pada sejumlah permasalahan yang memerlukan perhatian mendalam. Abstrak ini membahas permasalahan utama yang melingkupi alat penghitung botol air minum kemasan, termasuk ketidaknyamanan pengguna, kesalahan operasional, kerentanan terhadap gangguan teknis, dan masalah terkait kepatuhan regulasi. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan ini, metode HSL digunakan sebagai pendekatan yang holistik. Metode HSL mengintegrasikan pemahaman tentang aspek manusia (pengguna), sistem (alat dan perangkat lunak), serta lanskap (lingkungan regulasi dan sosial) untuk mengidentifikasi masalah, mengukur dampaknya, dan merancang solusi yang tepat. Melalui penerapan metode HSL, diharapkan bahwa alat penghitung botol air minum kemasan dapat ditingkatkan dalam hal efisiensi operasional, keandalan, dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi yang ketat, sekaligus meminimalkan dampak negatif terhadap pengguna dan lingkungan. Dengan demikian, industri pengemasan air minum dapat terus berperan dalam memenuhi tuntutan konsumen akan air minum yang berkualitas, praktis, dan aman. Adapun hasil data penelitian yang disajikan dengan menggunakan rumus akurasi yang didapat dari hasil uji coba yang telah di lakukan, untuk mengetahui berapa persen tingkat keberhasilan dari alat yang telah di buat. Dan hasil persentase keberhasilan di alat ini sebesar 67% untuk 3 kali percobaan

Abstract

Fish provides sufficient animal protein in the island region, particularly Nongsa in Batam City. However, the demand for minerals and vitamins from vegetables is not adequately met. The inefficient use of agricultural land is a major factor in the high vegetable prices in Batam City, reducing community interest in vegetable consumption. The activity aims to address this by introducing a smart indoor hydroponic system to meet vegetable needs. Targeting economically unproductive households, especially in Dasawisma Groups, the activity involves preparation, execution with socialization on the importance of consuming green vegetables and hydroponic tool training, and an evaluation of achievements. The applied technology is smart indoor hydroponic using the Internet of Things (IoT) for nutrient control. All stages of the activity have been successful, improving the group's understanding of green vegetables. Participants can independently operate the hydroponic tool with an automatic nutrient control system and cultivate various vegetables like water spinach and bok choy.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah sampai ketahap jangkauan yang tak terbatas, teknologi berbasiskan Internet of Things (IoT) semakin ramai digunakan pada perangkat cerdas saat ini. Internet of Things (IoT) merupakan teknologi yang mampu mencipatakan komunikasi antar perangkat menggunakan media jaringan internet, sehingga jangkauan jarak bukan menjadi masalah. Termasuk dalam pengendalian taman hidroponik dalam ruangan, hidroponik merupakan salah satu metode budidaya menanam dengan memanfaatkan media air, sehingga mempermudah media tanam didalam ruangan yang tidak memerlukan media tanah. Namun ada beberapa faktor dalam budidaya tanaman hidroponik yang berpengaruh pada kualitas sayuran, seperti kualitas air, suhu dan sinar matahari, dengan menggunakan water quality sensor dan RTC lamp pada sistem Smart Indoor Hydroponic Garden Using Internet Of Things dapat membantu memberikan pengawasan terhadap tanaman sehingga kualitas hasil sayuran dapat meningkat.
