Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas “Perancangan papan informasi mahasiswa berbasis realtime-clock (RTC) di laboratorium Institut Teknologi Batam (ITEBA) dengan memanfaatkan Short Massage Service (SMS)”. Kebutuhan informasi penting bagi siswa salah satunya adalah informasi yang berkaitan dengan penyelesaian pendidikan, perangkat yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini akan menjadi salah satu solusi untuk memudahkan siswa menerima informasi secara real-time. Sebuah alat yang dirancang untuk memanfaatkan komponen dot-matrix sebagai media untuk menampilkan teks berjalan yang berisi informasi, dan memanfaatkan fasilitas short massage service (SMS). Perancangan alat dalam penelitian ini menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai komponen pengontrol, input yang digunakan pada alat ini adalah SMS-gateway dan realtime-clock, yang berfungsi untuk penjadwalan dan timer pada sistem yang membuat perangkat aktif hanya pada jam operasional kampus. . Sehingga dapat mengurangi penggunaan daya yang tidak perlu.

Abstract

The skin is the outer protective organ for humans. Skin is the most interacting layer with the environment. Interactions that occur are not always safe against bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, so they will cause harm. Poor interactions will result in skin diseases. This skin disease is often considered normal, but can be dangerous and deadly and contagious. Due to the natural conditions and lack of medical personnel, sufferers of skin diseases have problems in examining their skin diseases. So this research was conducted by using an Expert System (Expert System) to help sufferers of skin diseases and help get solutions to these diseases. The solution obtained from the symptoms felt by sufferers. The method used in this study is Forward Chaining (FC) and processed using the Certainty Factor (CF) Method. The results of this study can determine the right initial steps in dealing with infectious skin diseases. So this research is very helpful for sufferers in knowing the type of skin disease, the solution in its prevention and its prevention precisely.

Abstract

The ear is the five senses and is the external organ that most often interacts with external objects, the most common disturbance in the ear organs is an infection in the ear called otitis, otitis is an inflammation that causes an infection in the ear. Otitis itself has many types such as external, media, internal and others. with research using an Expert System, utilizing the Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor methods, it is hoped that it can help patients to be able to consult the system, as appropriate to consult an ENT-KL specialist, with an accuracy of up to 94%.

Abstract

the development of Internet of Things technology, everything can be controlled over an unlimited distance using the internet network. Being a student is inseparable from project assignments that have deadlines for submission, problems that arise are sometimes the lecturers concerned are challenging to find, causing students to be delayed in submitting studies which affect student performance in the eyes of lecturers. In this case, an assignment recipient smart box system is created using the Wifi ESP32 Cam module and PIR Sensor which will monitor the collection of project assignments from students based on the Internet of Things, the system will send information in the form of photos to lecturers via Telegram Bot so that it can improve student performance in the eyes lecturer.

Abstract

Bukit Vitka Educity terletak secara terintegrasi dengan Kampus Institut Teknologi Batam dan Politeknik Pariwisata Batam dalam komplek Tiban Ayu, dimana kawasan ini menjadi tujuan wisata masyarakat sekitar untuk melihat matahari terbenam. Pada bukit ini ditanami rumput gajah untuk menambah keindahan, dengan permasalahan bahwa tanaman ini memerlukan kelembaban tanah yang tinggi karena akarnya yang hanya berjarak beberapa centimeter dari permukaan tanah. Oleh sebab itu, untuk membantu menjaga kelembaban tanah pada bukit Vitka Educity, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menawarkan rancangan “Sistem Penyiraman Rumput Di Bukit Vitka Educity Secara Otomatis”.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, minuman kaleng telah menjadi populer di kalangan masyarakat dengan berbagai rasa dan bentuk yang menarik. Namun, perlu dicatat bahwa minuman kaleng tidak terbatas pada minuman non-alkohol tetapi juga mencakup minuman beralkohol. Sayangnya, banyak konsumen yang tidak menyadari keberadaan alkohol dalam minuman kaleng secara umum. Konsumsi minuman beralkohol secara berlebihan atau tidak terkendali dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah kesehatan dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat umum dalam menentukan kandungan alkohol dalam minuman kaleng dengan menggunakan sistem deteksi kandungan alkohol yang dirancang menggunakan sensor TGS822. Kandungan alkohol dalam minuman kaleng akan dipantau dan dilaporkan melalui Internet of Things (IoT). Berdasarkan pengujian kandungan alkohol Golongan A memiliki kadar alkohol 1-5%, Golongan B memiliki kadar alkohol 5-20%, dan Golongan C memiliki kadar alkohol 20-55%, sensor ini mampu mendeteksi keberadaan alkohol melalui sensor TGS822 dan melaporkannya melalui jaringan IoT menggunakan aplikasi bot telegram.

The Support Vector Machine algorithm is a method in supervised learning which is usually used for classifications such as Support Vector Classification and support Vector Regression regression. In this study the SVM algorithm was used in the classification of student data profiles at the Batam Institute of Technology, which can be used as material for consideration in determining and considering decisions to make an effective destination strategy promotion.

Abstract

The application of AI technology that is currently developing is very helpful in supporting the progress of MSMEs in various fields. By utilizing AI technology, it can help MSMEs who are having problems with product design and online marketing. This PkM aims to support the development of marine processed MSMEs in the Islands. The Pkm forum will provide knowledge and skills to MSMEs members for producing attractive and effective visual content and utilizing AI technology in marketing strategies. In this community service, the methods used are socialization by delivering equipment, practising using AI technology and discussions. In this way, it is hoped that MSMEs can increase its competitiveness and market share for processed seafood products, as well as support the Batam City government program in developing the MSMEs sector. Through this service, it is hoped that marine processed MSMEs in the Riau Islands can optimize their business potential by utilizing AI technology and visual communication in marketing. This activity will provide knowledge about the quality of promotional messages and attractive visual product presentations, so that MSMEs can produce marketing content that is effective in attracting attention and influencing the target audience. By increasing knowledge and skills in digital marketing, it is hoped that MSMEs can compete globally in developing the MSMEs sector and increasing exports of processed seafood products in the Riau Islands region, especially in Batam City.Keywords: AI; UMKM; Marketing Abstrak: Penerapan teknologi AI yang berkembang saat ini sangat membantu dalam mendukung kemajuan UMKM diberbagai bidang. Dengan memanfaatkan Teknologi AI dapat membantu UMKM yang terkendala dengan desain produk dan pemasaran secara online. PkM ini bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan UMKM olahan laut di Kepulauan. Dalam Pkm yang diselenggarakan akan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada anggota UMKM dalam menghasilkan konten visual yang menarik dan efektif serta memanfaatkan teknologi AI dalam strategi pemasaran. Dalam Pengabdian masyarakat ini metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi dengan penyampaian materi, praktek menggunakan teknologi AI dan diskusi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan UMKM dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan pangsa pasar produk olahan laut, serta mendukung program pemerintah Kota Batam dalam mengembangkan sektor UMKM. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan UMKM olahan laut di Kepulauan Riau dapat mengoptimalkan potensi bisnis mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AI dan komunikasi visual dalam pemasaran. Kegiatan ini akan memberikan pembekalan pengetahuan tentang kualitas pesan promosi dan penyajian produk visual yang menarik, sehingga UMKM dapat menghasilkan konten pemasaran yang efektif dalam menarik perhatian dan mempengaruhi target audiens. Dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pemasaran digital, diharapkan UMKM dapat bersaing secara global dalam mengembangkan sektor UMKM serta meningkatkan ekspor produk olahan laut di wilayah Kepulauan Riau, khususnya di Kota Batam.Kata kunci: AI; UMKM; Pemasaran
