Abstract

In this study, the total dissolved solid (TDS) in water was made using conductivity sensor which the sensor works by using the principle of conductance that is the ability of the solution in delivering the electric current, so the more content of solute contained in the water the greater also the value of its conductance. The measurement results of the sensor will be compared with the next setpoint value will be used to turn on the booster pump which will do the filtering process in order to decrease the TDS water content by using RO membrane. The performance of sensor readings when first used is boosted by the time at which the system takes 3 minutes to reach a stable state, while for the whole system is influenced by the volume of water that will decrease its TDS level. The test results are presented in the form of graph of change of TDS water content over time, the difference of time required to decrease the TDS level by 15 ppm for 1 liter of water for 6 minutes, 2 liter of water for 10 minutes and for 3 liters of water for 16 minutes.

Abstract

Braking Automation system is needed to make people do their job in braking while driving. This paper aims to design and construct an electromagnetic braking automatic system that able to make car stopped before colliding a barrier by applying of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method. To find out how the effective utilization of PID control on electromagnetic braking automatic will be compared with the results of braking without using PID. Determination tuning result of controller PID parameter obtained by using the trial and error methods and obtained the PID parameter values that suitable are Kp = 2.98, Ki = 0.104 and Kd = 1.35. The ultrasonic sensor used as detection the distance to a barrier. From the testing results of electromagnetic braking system with PID control more effective than with the electromagnetic braking system without PID because it can be seen from the side cessation of the car approaching set point, the results of the electromagnetic braking with PID control better than the electromagnetic braking without PID control.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to detect whether a person has diabetes mellitus or not. In people with diabetes mellitus uncontrolled will result in a decline in the rate of saliva that results in bad breath. The system uses the sensor TGS 2602 and MQ 4. It's function is to detect the levels of Hydrogen Sulfide and Methan in a person’s breath. The decision is made by using the neural network with a backpropagation method. The result for 5 (five) tests of diabetes mellitus samples can be detected with a success rate of 80%, whereas using random samples, the test detected with detected with a success rate of 80% samples that didn’t contain diabetes mellitus. This system could provide a solution for testing if a person is suffering from diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Current technological developments also help in the ordering system. Simplifying the reservation system with information technology is one of the innovations made to help users of the room more easily in booking a room. The system designed consists of hardware and software connected to book a room based on, UID, usage time and to open the door of the room. Hardware includes Arduino Mega, NFC tags, NFC readers, relays, solenoids, buzzers, and LEDs. The software includes a Mysql website and database. The system will store user data, date, shift, length of usage and type of room booked by the user. NFC tags will be used by the customer to open the door to the room by getting closer to the NFC reader. This system aims to facilitate the process of borrowing space without having to undergo a convoluted process.

Abstract

Fisheries cultivation is beginning to experience improvement and enthusiasm within the community. Especially the cultivation of catfish, which is gaining quite a lot of enthusiasts. This is caused by catfish that are easy to cultivate, have high demand within the community, and are rich in protein. The increase in catfish enthusiasts is based on the period from 2018 to 2019, during which the growth of catfish has increased by 27.76%. The increase in catfish production reached 1,005,530 tonnes in 2018 and 1,224,360 tonnes in 2019.Along with the advancements in technology for cultivating feed catfish, which meet the energy and growth needs, there should be sufficient resources to achieve a maximum harvest. However, lately, many cultivators have failed. This is due to several problems, including the intensity of irregular feeding and unstable catfish pool water levels, which resulted in the growth of catfish not yet fully implemented by cultivators. Consequently, many catfish cultivators suffered losses. Technology will help improve the quality of catfish feed. The basic principle of catfish cultivation is how the system can maintain a suitable water quality for catfish so that the risk of death does not occur because too Low or too high pH can have a harmful effect on catfish. pH itself is the degree of acidity used to declare the level of acidity or pH that a solution has. The components used in the design of this tool include pH sensors to read acid levels in catfish pool water, selenoids for controlling the flow of pH-adjusted liquid, load cell sensors for calculating the weight of the feed, and a servomotor to open the fish feed valve
