Abstract

Dukungan fasilitas komputer atau alat bantu kegiatan hands-on lainnya jelas dibutuhkan dalam membekali keterampilan praktis bidang komputasi dan teknologi informasi kepada peserta didik. Dalam penelitian ini, diusulkan suatu portable server berbasis single board computer (SBC) dan teknologi WiFi-direct untuk menjadi alat bantu pembelajaran dengan beberapa karakteristik: (a) portable secara fisik, (b) rendah biaya, (c) dapat diakses dari berbagai platform perangkat pengguna, dan (d) tidak mengandalkan ketersediaan koneksi internet. Fokus penelitian ini adalah rancang bangun portable server tersebut dan pengujian kinerjanya ketika digunakan dalam pembelajaran hands-on. Server yang dibangun berhasil diakses oleh beberapa perangkat berbeda (dicobakan hingga 4 platform perangkat yang berbeda) baik secara terpisah maupun secara bersamaan. Pengujian kinerja yang dilakukan mencakup pengujian waktu respon sistem dan pengujian penggunaan sumber daya komputasi server. Pengujian waktu respon sistem dilakukan untuk mengetahui berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan dan harus dialokasikan untuk persiapan server dalam kerangka waktu kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil yang didapatkan cukup baik, yaitu total waktu terlama sejak server booting sampai pengguna berhasil login adalah 2 menit 45 detik. Pengujian penggunaan sumber daya komputasi server pada paper kali ini difokuskan berupa baselining untuk mendapatkan gambaran penggunaan sumber daya server dalam kondisi beban minimum ketika hanya diakses oleh pengguna tunggal yang hanya mengakses satu tool pembelajaran saja. Baseline penggunaan sumberdaya komputasi server yang didapatkan meliputi penggunaan sumber daya CPU, memory dan network untuk beberapa skenario: akses melalui kabel UTP, akses melalui hotspot server, aktivitas remote shell, aktivitas remote desktop, dan akses suatu tool pembelajaran berbasis command line interface (CLI). Tindak lanjut yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah pengujian waktu respon, pengujian beban, serta pengujian batas kemampuan server ketika diakses secara simultan oleh banyak pengguna yang mewakili lazimnya jumlah peserta suatu kelas.

Abstract

Produk unggulan nagari adalah produksi utama sebuah nagari dimana sebagian besar masyarakatnya menggantungkan hidup pada produk tersebut. Nagari Bukik Batabuah terkenal dengan produksi unggulan masyarakatnya berupa Susu Kambing. Produk unggulan nagari ini memiliki citra rasa khas dan kualitas yang baik, akan tetapi produk-produk unggulan nagari ini masih hanya dikenal oleh kalangan terbatas dan dipasarkan dalam ruang lingkup yang kecil. Industri susu kambing di nagari Bukik Batabuah di bawah unit pengolahan susu (UPS) kelompok tani Rantiang Ameh. Susu kambing sudah memiliki pasar tersendiri dikarenakan khasiatnya yang banyak untuk kesehatan. Susu kambing dipercayai dapat menyembuhkan penyakit asma, gangguan pernapasan, asam urat, diabetes, osteoporosis, rematik dan mag. UPS Rantiang Ameh baru berproduksi tahun 2014 saat ini pemasarannya menyerap 30 L susu kambing per harinya. Masih rendahnya pengetahuan produsen industri di nagari tentang penggunaan media website, sosial media dan market place menjadikan wilayah pemasaran produk unggulan nagari tidak mengalami perkembangan yang berarti dalam jangka waktu 5 tahun belakangan. Oleh karena itu, pada pengabdian masyarakat ini, program studi Sistem Komputer berencana untuk mengenalkan pemanfaatan digital marketing untuk produk unggulan nagari di Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

The community health centres, or commonly known as Puskesmas in Bahasa, are the backbone for Indonesia citizens in dealing with and fighting against the Covid-19 outbreak. They are the first responders and primary services that is closest to the community. Their healthcare professionals have a very important role as the front lines that identify the symptoms at the village level. It is mandatory that they use adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when examining people's health. With the PPE, healthcare professionals remain protected from the risk of Covid-19 exposure. The lack of PPE availability sometimes makes many officers have to use any available materials as their protection. Addressing the lack of PPE availability in a Puskesmas of a suburban area like Bungus, the Department of Computer Systems, Universitas Andalas, decides to put some innovations into practice. In this community service activity, certain PPE and sterilization tool-aids are designed and developed to protect healthcare professionals from the risk of Covid-19 exposure. Some of the types of equipment provided for the centre are portable sterilization poles, hand sanitizer tool-aids that can be used without having to be touched by hands, face shield in the form of a face-covered hat using mica material that can be reused by washing or wiping it using a disinfectant, and hijack-masks made from spun-bond fabric that is comfortable and waterproof.

Abstract

Ekosistem Internet of Things (IoT) berkembang dengan sangat cepat dan diperkirakan akan menghubungkan 5-20 miliar perangkat pada tahun 2020. Data yang dihimpun dari perangkat ini akan mencapai jumlah yang sangat besar. Saat ini, ekosistem IoT pada umumnya menggunakan model sistem terpusat. Model tersebut memiliki beberapa kelemahan, seperti biaya pemeliharaan yang relatif tinggi, Sistem terdistribusi dapat menjadi alternatif solusi. Blockchain, teknologi ledger terditribusi, memungkinkan transaksi peer-to-peer tanpa perlu adanya perantara pihak ketiga yang terpercaya. Paper ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi pengintegrasian Blockchain ke dalam ekosistem IoT. Hasil penelitian berupa model dan use-case pemanfaatan Blockchain dalam IoT.

Abstract

In the tourism industry, reputation is important information that influence customer behavior. Some services, such as hotels, take advantage of feedback from customers. This research aims to develop a review system by utilizing blockchain and machine learning for sustainable tourism. As proof of concept, a comparison method is carried out between several existing Blockchain networks. The system prototype then implemented using Hyperledger blockchain network, so that measurement of its performance is possible. The results show the feasibility of the blockchain network to be used for a rating system, although several aspects need to be considered in its implementation.

Abstract

Emotions influence individual behavior and there is no emotional experience that has a stronger influence than stress. Prolonged stress has a direct negative influence on physical and emotional conditions. For that reason, it is important to know a person's mental stress state, so that further action can be taken later, so as not to have a serious impact on physical and mental health. In this study, the photoplethysmograph (PPG) approach is used to recognize mental stress conditions based on Heart Rate Variability (HRV) frequency domain analysis. In this study stress was identified by SVM classifier using LF, HF and LF / HF Ratio from HRV frequency domain analysis. The LF results were increased in mild stress conditions, HF increased in conditions of mild stress and medium stress and the LF / HF Ratio slowly increased from mild stress to severe stress. The training data obtained 80 data with 95% mild stress accuracy from 19 data, medium stress accuracy 96% from 49 data and 99% severe stress accuracy with 12 data.

Abstract

Tantrums are outbursts of anger and they can occur at any age. An attitude tantrum or what is commonly referred to as a temper tantrum is a child's outburst of anger that often occurs when a child shows negative behavior. Emotional outbursts of tantrums that occur in children with autism are not only to seek the attention of adults, but also as an outlet for a child's feelings for parents and those around him on a whim or feeling he is feeling, but the child cannot convey it. For this reason, researchers propose a system for detecting early symptoms of tantrums in children with autism through facial expressions with CNN. The CNN method is one of the deep learning methods that can be used to recognize and classify an object in a digital image. Then the preprocessing process is carried out using labeling on the data. Then the CNN architecture is designed with input containing 48x48x1 neurons. The data was then trained using 357 epochs with an accuracy rate of 72.67%%. Then tested using test data for children with autism to get an average accuracy value of 72.67%%.

Abstract

Plant Factory is a technology concept that facilitates the formation of an environment that is suitable and good for plant growth, easy to control, does not require a large area of land, and is applied indoors so that it is not affected by outdoor weather conditions. Therefore created a system that automatically controls and monitors environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and light. This system uses Arduino mega 2560 as a microcontroller, DHT22 temperature and humidity sensors to assess room temperature and humidity, RTC as an indicator of plant irradiation time, a micro SD module as data storage for sensors and actuators, and a Bluetooth module as a medium for data transmission. This actuator consists of a fan to control temperature, a humidifier to control humidity and an LED as a substitute for lighting plants. There are three plants as samples for testing the Plant Factory system, namely spinach, lettuce and mustard greens with each Plant Factory system for these plants. All temperature, humidity and actuator conditions can be monitored via the Android application. The plant factory automation system with three types of vegetable plants based on microcontroller and android is successfully running according to its function.

Abstract

The research aim to recognize potential weapon threats through object detection on camera. This research utilize YOLO (You Only Look Once) method in object detection which implemented on Raspberry Pi 4. The process was by detecting object from the camera and classify the object class in 2 available classes : Gun and Knife. Meanwhile, in the classifying process, it also count the object in every classes. When the system detect object in the process, it will send notification in terms of threat level through android application so that the user or operator can mitigate the threat immediately. From the research, we achieve the mAP of 85.12% in which YOLOv4 tiny is used and the testing is done inside a room environment. In its application in detecting weapon in Raspberry Pi 4, the result is around 1.53 fps (frame per second), in which is accommodate to be implemented on, but with a very limited fps.

Abstract

Lora technology is implemented on prototype to carry out a Tsunami early warning system by sending a trigger code to sound the arduino. the sender uses Dragino LoRa LG01 outdoor while on the other side uses Dragino LoRa node and Arduino Mega. Triggers are input data from Dragino LoRa Gateway in form of string of data which is then converted and sent via LoRa communication. The data that arrives at the node will trigger the program to turn on the siren that has been keep in Arduino Mega. The application of this LoRa is to turn on the sire with a maximum distance. In this research also calculated the capacity of resource at the node that will be sent to the Gateway each time the trigger code is sent. Tests carried out in sub-urban areas with several distance parameters. The maximum distance that can be reached is 500 meters with Receive signal strong indicator (RSSI) -95. While the average time span since the trigger is sent untill the siren is sounded is 0.45 seconds.
