Abstract

Food is an essential aspect of the laying hens' cultivation process. The delay of the feeding time and the short amount of food can cause stress to the hens. Furthermore, an excessive amount of food can cause overweight and reduce hens' productivity. This paper provides a method to automate the feeder for laying hens using a device based on microcontroller technology. A tool that can detect chicken behavior when hungry and the temperature of the cage can provide an excellent feeding management system for the breeder. The automatic feeder can see chicken behavior, also the environmental condition around the cage. A specific noise amplitude caused by the hungry hens can trigger the feeder.  This feeder also design aims to provide the food in the right amount at the right time. Thus, the breeder can minimize the stress of laying hens, reduce food waste, and keep the hens ideal. Here the system can save the chicken’s food around 13.76% more efficient.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini digunakan E-Nose yang menggunakan sensor gas TGS 2602, TGS 2620, TGS 2610, TGS 2622, dan TGS 822. Teh yang akan digunakan pada tugas akhir ini adalah teh hitam, teh hijau, teh melati, dan teh oolong. Pola data diperoleh dari pembacaan data dari aroma teh yang diujikan. Pola data tersebut lalu diolah menggunakan metode Backpropagation dengan 5 node input, 6 node hidden layer, dan 2 node output. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat yang digunakan dapat mendeteksi aroma teh dengan tingkat keberhasilan deteksi teh hitam 80%, teh hijau 100%, teh melati 90%, dan teh oolong 80%. Kata kunci: E-Nose, teh, backpropagation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat sebuah sistem yang dapat mengukur Angka Kecukupan Gizi (AKG) maanusia dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler. Sistem dibuat terdiri atas 5 komponen utama yaitu sensor Load Cell berfungsi untuk mengukur berat badan, sensor ultrasonik berfungsi untuk mengukur tinggi badan, Keypad berfungsi sebagai perangkat input : 1. Usia 2. Jenis kelamin 3. Jenis aktivitas. Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno berfungsi sebagai proses perhitungan AKG dan Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) berfungsi untuk menampilkan nilai AKG. Pengujian dilakukan sebanyak 10 orang objek yang terdiri dari 3 orang perempuan dan 7 orang laki-laki dengan usia antara 10-18 tahun. Seseorang harus berdiri diatas timbangan yang terpasang sensor load cell dan berdiri dibawah sensor ultrasonik yang terpasang pada tonggak untuk diukur berat dan tinggi badan. Ketika diukur berat dan tinggi badan seseorang user harus melakukan input usia, jenis kelamin dan jenis aktivitas untuk diproses oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno guna menghitung nilai AKG yang terdiri dari angka kecukupan energi dalam satuan kilo kalori (kkal), kecukupan protein, lemak, karbohidrat, serat dalam satuan gram (g) dan ditampilkan pada sebuah LCD. Ujicoba alat dilakukan ke 10 orang. Dan didapat kesimpulan nilai eror terkecil AKG untuk kecukupan energi yaitu 0 % dan nilai eror terbesar yaitu 6,60 %.Kata kunci : Sensor Load Cell, Sensor ultrasonik, keypad, Mikrokontroler dan Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).

Abstract

Mengunci pintu merupakan bentuk keamanan dalam sebuah ruangan ataupun gedung.    Kelalaian dalam pemeriksaan ruangan dapat berakibat fatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem yang dapat memonitoring keadaan kunci ruangan, apakah ruangan tersebut terkunci atau tidak terkunci dengan menggunakan limit switch sebagai pendeteksi yang telah dipasang pada pintu, jika pintu tidak terkunci maka nilai limit switch bernilai 0 dan jika pintu terkunci maka limit switch bernilai 1. Lalu nilai limit switch dikirim ke server menggunakan modul wifi ESP8266 yang telah terhubung dengan WLAN. Nilai limit switch yang telah terkirim ke server ditampilkan pada smartphone menggunakan aplikasi mobile monitoring kunci pintu. Untuk mengantisipasi pemalsuan kondisi kunci pintu, sistem ini menggunakan 3 indikator untuk menyatakan pintu terkunci yaitu sensor infra merah sebagai penentu pintu terbuka atau tertutup, limit switch 1 dan limit switch 2 sebagai penentu kondisi kunci pintu terkunci atau tidak terkunci. Tingkat kecocokan data yang ditampilkan pada smartphone dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya adalah 100% dengan nilai limit switch bernilai 0 maka pintu tidak terkunci dan limit switch bernilai 1 maka pintu terkunci. Sistem dapat memberikan notifikasi pada saat terjadi perubahan kondisi kunci pintu pada jam malam. Saran untuk penelitian berikutnya sistem dapat melakukan control terhadap pintu, tidak hanya monitoring dan meningkatkan aspek keamanan jaringan wireless.Kata kunci:      Kunci Pintu, Android, Limit Switch, Modul wifi ESP8266, Sensor Infra Merah.

Abstract

Produk unggulan nagari adalah produksi utama sebuah nagari dimana sebagian besar masyarakatnya menggantungkan hidup pada produk tersebut. Nagari Bukik Batabuah terkenal dengan produksi unggulan masyarakatnya berupa Susu Kambing. Produk unggulan nagari ini memiliki citra rasa khas dan kualitas yang baik, akan tetapi produk-produk unggulan nagari ini masih hanya dikenal oleh kalangan terbatas dan dipasarkan dalam ruang lingkup yang kecil. Industri susu kambing di nagari Bukik Batabuah di bawah unit pengolahan susu (UPS) kelompok tani Rantiang Ameh. Susu kambing sudah memiliki pasar tersendiri dikarenakan khasiatnya yang banyak untuk kesehatan. Susu kambing dipercayai dapat menyembuhkan penyakit asma, gangguan pernapasan, asam urat, diabetes, osteoporosis, rematik dan mag. UPS Rantiang Ameh baru berproduksi tahun 2014 saat ini pemasarannya menyerap 30 L susu kambing per harinya. Masih rendahnya pengetahuan produsen industri di nagari tentang penggunaan media website, sosial media dan market place menjadikan wilayah pemasaran produk unggulan nagari tidak mengalami perkembangan yang berarti dalam jangka waktu 5 tahun belakangan. Oleh karena itu, pada pengabdian masyarakat ini, program studi Sistem Komputer berencana untuk mengenalkan pemanfaatan digital marketing untuk produk unggulan nagari di Nagari Bukik Batabuah, Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

Security monitoring systems using face recognition can be applied to CCTV or IP cameras. This is intended to improve the security system and make it easier for users to track criminals is theft. The experiment was carried out by detecting human faces for 24 hours using different cameras, namely an HD camera that was active during the day and a Night Vision camera that was active at night. The application of Unsupervised Learning method with the concept of an image cluster, aims to distinguish the faces of known or unknown people according to the dataset built in the Raspberry Pi 4. The user interface media of this system is a web-based application built with Python Flask and Python MySQL. This application can be accessed using the domain provided by the IP Forwarding device which can be accessed anywhere. According to the test results on optimization of storage, the system is able to save files only when a face is detected with an average file size of ± 2.28 MB for 1x24 hours of streaming. So that this storage process becomes more efficient and economical compared to the storage process for CCTV or IP cameras in general.

Abstract

Over the past decades, practitioners and researchers have made remarkable achievements in digital forensic. The abilities to conquer major technical obstacles are bestowing practitioners greater access to digital evidence. Sophisticated forensic techniques and tools are being developed to assist forensic acquisition and extraction of volatile data, inspection of remote repositories system and analysis of network traffic. Computer forensic is a comprehensive work that based on several attributes that are : objectivity, relevance and legitimacy to compose a system model that projected to be an electronic evidence forensic system. Latest studies show that the rapid growing of cloud computing facilities usage that has enable various improvements as part of the innovation process at organisations. Abstract

In this study, the total dissolved solid (TDS) in water was made using conductivity sensor which the sensor works by using the principle of conductance that is the ability of the solution in delivering the electric current, so the more content of solute contained in the water the greater also the value of its conductance. The measurement results of the sensor will be compared with the next setpoint value will be used to turn on the booster pump which will do the filtering process in order to decrease the TDS water content by using RO membrane. The performance of sensor readings when first used is boosted by the time at which the system takes 3 minutes to reach a stable state, while for the whole system is influenced by the volume of water that will decrease its TDS level. The test results are presented in the form of graph of change of TDS water content over time, the difference of time required to decrease the TDS level by 15 ppm for 1 liter of water for 6 minutes, 2 liter of water for 10 minutes and for 3 liters of water for 16 minutes.

Abstract

Braking Automation system is needed to make people do their job in braking while driving. This paper aims to design and construct an electromagnetic braking automatic system that able to make car stopped before colliding a barrier by applying of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method. To find out how the effective utilization of PID control on electromagnetic braking automatic will be compared with the results of braking without using PID. Determination tuning result of controller PID parameter obtained by using the trial and error methods and obtained the PID parameter values that suitable are Kp = 2.98, Ki = 0.104 and Kd = 1.35. The ultrasonic sensor used as detection the distance to a barrier. From the testing results of electromagnetic braking system with PID control more effective than with the electromagnetic braking system without PID because it can be seen from the side cessation of the car approaching set point, the results of the electromagnetic braking with PID control better than the electromagnetic braking without PID control.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to detect whether a person has diabetes mellitus or not. In people with diabetes mellitus uncontrolled will result in a decline in the rate of saliva that results in bad breath. The system uses the sensor TGS 2602 and MQ 4. It's function is to detect the levels of Hydrogen Sulfide and Methan in a person’s breath. The decision is made by using the neural network with a backpropagation method. The result for 5 (five) tests of diabetes mellitus samples can be detected with a success rate of 80%, whereas using random samples, the test detected with detected with a success rate of 80% samples that didn’t contain diabetes mellitus. This system could provide a solution for testing if a person is suffering from diabetes mellitus
