Abstract

The present study is about the ordering adjective in adjective order. In this study the writer explores the students’ understanding and the student errors in the adjective order term. The writer employed pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 40 students taken from the second class of SMA Negeri 21 Makassar, academic 2014/2015. The data were collected by giving the student test. The data collected were analyzed by using scoring classification, mean score and percentage. To find out whether fighting question method can improve student understanding in ordering adjective orders and what is the most student errors in term adjective order. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test. The value of mean of mean score post-test (69) is greater than the pre-test (43.25) and the most students errors in adjective order term is the position of an adjective ”Shape”.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the EFL students’ perception in regards to basic English vocabulary teaching through pictures. This study was conducted in a senior high school situated in Makassar, South Sulawesi, called SMA Datuk Ribandang Makassar. This study is about students’ teaching English basic vocabulary through pictures. A quantitative method were use to how the effects of basic vocabulary teaching through pictures are. A qualitative study determine students’ perception in teaching vocabulary through pictures. Based on the findings and discussion the previous chapter, the researcher concludes that the effect vocabulary through pictures by the students’ in Learning English showed from pre-test and post Mean score of 27 students pre-test was 48,74 (with standart deviation 14,482 and standard errror mean was 2,5787) and the students’ post-test mean score was 77,70 (with standart deviation 10,498 and standard errror mean was 2,020). Furthermore, Students’ perception of English basic vocabulary through pictures for the firsy years students of SMA Datuk Ribandang Makassar gives the positive perception that exactly students’ perception of the teacher method in teaching English.

Abstract

The research aimed were to find out the correlation between classroom management and student’s interest. This research uses quantitative with survey method that apply correlation technique there are two variable in this research, namely dependent variable and independent variable. The independent variable is classroom management while dependent variable is students interest the population of this research as two classes of ABA UMI year 2016-2017. The samples of this research are 20 respondents taken through purposive sampling technique . in analysis the data of this research, the write used ( Correlation ). The findings of this study shows that there is any significant correlation between classroom management and student’s interest at the second grade of social class ABA UMI. This is proved by the value of the pearson product moment is -025 it means the correlation. And classroom management and student’s interest is weak. And correlation classroom management has an important role in learning process because if there is in classroom management the student’s will not be interest in learning process.

Abstract

The Soppeng regency required a tourism ambassador to market the region as a tourist information hub. The objectives of the study were to determine the role of Ana'dara Kallolo as a tourism ambassador in promoting tourist attractions and to identify the elements that supported and hindered Ana'dara Kallolo's efforts to promote tourism in Soppeng regency. Based on the foregoing promotions, it became necessary to define the communication strategy employed by Ana'dara Kallolo to promote the programs of tourist attractions. The research employed a qualitative approach to delve more deeply into the subject to be watched closely. Ana'dara Kallolo had important roles as the actors of the activity, as a tourism information centre, and as the Soppeng regency tourism ambassador, according to the findings of the study. The supporting factors indicated a high level of public interest in tourism destination areas in that regency, while the inhibiting factor was the lack of community resources when tourism promotion was conducted. It was determined that the public had recognized Ana'dara Kallolo's information regarding tourism in Soppeng regency as accurate; thus, the barriers to engaging in socializations or other activities must be eliminated by significantly improving human resources. The purpose of the study's execution was to gain the strategy for completing a variety of tasks and to carry out the scheduled activities.
