Abstract

This research aims to analyze cash receipt accounting system for room selling either in cash or on credit at Grage Business Hotel Yogyakarta. Based on Mulyadi's theory, this research evaluate internal control effectivity of the hotel, especially for cash receipt system. The element have been evaluated are organizational structure, authority and administration procedure, and implementation of duties and obligation based on each person's responsibilities. The data collection method used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results shows that implementation of internal control system as mention above at Grage Business Hotel Yogyakarta has not yet qualify Mulyadi's theory criterias. The major problem there are not segregation of duties. Cash and sales function run by receptionist while accounting and administration function run by general cashier. The implication of this research is to improve internal control of cash receipt of the hotel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes, especially in terms of increasing students' enthusiasm, independence, and interest in learning activities. This study focuses on parental involvement in supporting student learning activities at home and its impact on academic achievement. By identifying the types of parenting patterns and their impacts, it is hoped that this study can provide useful understanding for parents, educators, and schools to build constructive cooperation between families and educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative method through a literature review approach. The data used comes from trusted databases such as Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus which are sources of information in the form of articles, journals, books, and other scientific publications. The literature reviewed was selected based on the following criteria: published in the last 10 years and discusses the impact of parenting patterns on student learning outcomes. The findings of this study reveal that parenting patterns are a key factor in determining learning outcomes. Supportive and participatory parenting patterns shape positive attitudes, high motivation, and learning responsibilities in children. Active parental involvement is a major element in students' academic success.

Abstract

Language is used to communicate with two or more people with various ideas, experiences, and feelings through writing, oral, and so on. A person who cannot communicate well can become less confident when speaking in public. Panic arises and is very disturbing for those who are afraid. An unprepared body will show panic symptoms due to the pressure that has just arisen before starting to speak in public. Lack of practice and getting used to public speaking is one of the reasons why there is a sense of nervousness when performing. The purpose of this service is to increase the confidence of teenagers in Kedutungturi Village, Taman Sidoarjo through public speaking training. It is hoped that with this activity, teenagers in Kedungturi Village, Taman Sidoarjo can have knowledge, understanding and skills about the science of Public Speaking to gain a better understanding of the public speaking method and to apply it.
