Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of factors in strengthening brand cuture from a corporate branding perspective. Brand is an invisible asset whose value can exceed the visible assets in an organization. The level of awareness of the organization, especially universities, about brands is still not high, especially at the UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur (UPNVJT) University, as a "Bela Negara" campus. In an effort to determine the level of brand behavior at UPNVJT, this study focuses on brand culture at the student level. Brand culture becomes the dependent variable, which is a construct that is used to measure organizational behavior. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a questionnaire instrument that is distributed online and offline. All variables were measured using a Likert scale which was adapted from previous research. The data were taken from UPNVJT students who were still active, using convenient random sampling technique of 411. The data obtained were tested use smart PLS 3. Based on the data, the results it can be concluded that brand image and brand reputation have been running well in UPNVJT, but brand association needs to be improved. That way the brand culture will become a character of UPNVJT students as the output of higher education. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menegtahui pengaruh faktor-faktor dalam memperkuat brand cuture dari perspektif corporate branding. Brand adalah aset tak terlihat yang nilainya dapat melebihi aset yang terlihat dalam suatu organisasi. Tingkat kepedulian organisasi khususnya perguruan tinggi terhadap brand masih kurang tinggi, terutama di Universitas UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur (UPNVJT) sebagai kampus "Bela Negara". Dalam upaya untuk mengetahui tingkat perilaku merek di UPNVJT, penelitian ini difokuskan pada brand culture di tingkat mahasiswa. Brand culture menjadi variabel dependen, yang merupakan konstruk yang digunakan untuk mengukur perilaku organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online dan offline. Semua variabel diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert yang diadaptasi dari penelitian sebelumnya. Data diambil dari mahasiswa UPNVJT yang masih aktif, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling random sederhana sejumlah 411 responden dari jumlah populasi lebih dari 1000 mahasiswa aktif UPNVJT. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan smart PLS 3. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa brand image dan reputasi merek sudah berjalan baik di UPNVJT, tetapi asosiasi merek perlu ditingkatkan. Dengan begitu brand culture akan menjadi karakter mahasiswa UPNVJT sebagai output pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Bibliometric study about online registration at the hospital. This analysis includes statistical information obtained from the Scopus database of 1,456 research journals taken from 1999 to 2019. Keywords verified from the survey result are used to retrieve relevant articles from the database. The result of the study shows that the journal article occupies the top position is "Gefitinib plus the best supportive care in patients previously treated with difficult to cure non-small lung cancer: Results of a multicentre, multicentre randomized, placebo-controlled study (Evaluation of Iressa Survival in Lung Cancer" written by Thatcher N., Chang A ., Parikh P., JR Pereira, Ciuleanu T., Von Pawel J., Thongprasert S., Tan EH, Pemberton K., Archer V., Carroll K with the number of citation 1,852 in 2005. The best author who wrote a journal article related to online registration is Jaffray, DA which donated nine research article publications related to online registration. The institution that most donated  article publications is the University of Toronto, 54 journal articles. The majority of paper publications was dominated by United State with 326 papers. The number of articles written with this theme have increased from year to year, in other words this theme is still a tranding topic to be researched and developed by researchers.

Abstract

Lingkungan organisasi yang dinamis membutuhkan pemimpin yang tidak hanya mampu mengelola, tetapi juga menginspirasi serta mendorong perubahan positif. Kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap sebagai salah satu strategi terbaik dalam hal ini, terutama dalam mendorong kreativitas dan kemampuan beradaptasi di era modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tokoh Mark Zuckerberg dalam film The Social Network menunjukkan karakteristik kepemimpinan transformasional. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui pengamatan cermat terhadap adegan-adegan penting dalam film. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan membandingkannya dengan teori dan sumber literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun memiliki gaya yang khas, tokoh Mark Zuckerberg dalam film tersebut memperlihatkan banyak aspek dari kepemimpinan transformasional. Adegan ketika ia menjelaskan visi besar Facebook kepada Eduardo Saverin menggambarkan kemampuannya untuk memotivasi melalui inspirasi, sedangkan adegan “kompetisi coding sambil minum” menunjukkan bagaimana ia merangsang pemikiran dengan mendorong kreativitas dari teman-temannya. Meskipun tampak kurang memperhatikan setiap anggota tim secara individual, visi dan kemampuannya dalam menginspirasi kreativitas terbukti efektif dalam memotivasi kelompok untuk menghasilkan capaian yang luar biasa. Penelitian ini menawarkan sudut pandang baru bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dapat muncul dalam berbagai bentuk, bahkan melalui individu yang kurang memiliki empati, selama pemimpin mampu menciptakan visi dan menumbuhkan kreativitas. Disarankan agar penelitian lebih lanjut dilakukan untuk menganalisis secara empiris penerapan kepemimpinan transformasional di berbagai perusahaan atau sektor industri, serta mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang gaya kepemimpinan ini terhadap keberlanjutan organisasi dan nilai budaya.

Abstract

Retirement is a significant life transition often accompanied by psychological stress due to the loss of role, routine, and identity. However, many retirees lack effective strategies to manage this stress, leading to decreased well-being. This study aims to interpret the self-care strategies employed by the character Ben Whittaker in the film The Intern (2015) to cope with post-retirement stress, analyzed through the lens of Lazarus & Folkman's coping theory. Using a qualitative descriptive case study design, the data from the film were analyzed through thematic analysis based on Lazarus & Folkman's coding framework (primary appraisal, secondary appraisal, problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping). The results show that Ben's self-care process begins with an honest primary appraisal of his losses as a threat, triggering reflective emotion-focused coping. He then proactively engages in problem-focused coping by creating new routines and seeking challenging roles, while simultaneously maintaining emotional balance through social connectivity and positive nostalgia. The pinnacle of his adaptation is the mature integration of both coping strategies to navigate complex interpersonal dilemmas. Theoretically, this study enriches the transactional model by illustrating the dynamic, non-linear integration of coping strategies in later life. Practically, it offers a narrative model for developing psychosocial interventions that emphasize agency, social reconnection, and holistic self-care for retirees, suggesting that educational modules based on this film could facilitate healthy coping discussions.
