Abstract

Daya saing Propinsi JawaTimur berada di urutan ke sepuluh denga index produktivittas sebesar 19,56, (laporan analisis daya saing UMKM di Indonesia, www.google.com). Rendahnya daya saing propinsi Jawa Timur terkait dengan masalah hambatan UMKM mengakses sumber daya produktif, selain pendanaan, terutama masalah akses bahan baku, pembiayaan, tenaga kerja trampil dan teknologi, di samping itu juga permasalahan kapasitas pengolahan dan persaingan.Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah agar Usaha Mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) dapat melakukan manajemen dengan lebih baik. Peningkatan produktivitas diperlukan untuk bisa meningkatkan daya saing..Pelaksanaan pendampingan UMKM ini direncanakan di Asosiasi Usaha Kecil Menengah Amangtiwi yang berlokasi di Sawojajar Malang. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini diawali dengan memberikan pemaparan materi mengenai produktivitas dan daya saing. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan pendalaman mengenai kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman bagi UMKM, hal ini dimaksudkan agar bisa memadukan secara langsung teori dengan kondisi di lapangan. Dengan demikian dapat diambil kesimpulan dan solusi terbaik bagi UMKM dalam menjalankan bisnisnya agar dapat berdaya saing.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out how to manage marketing, increase the quantity of the “Conversation Club” learning training. Design/methodology/approach: This research approach is quantitative. The method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings: The result of this research is marketing management training: conversation club neighborhood MSMEs using the marketing mix. The proposed model 1) establishes a correspondence network by utilizing WhatsApp bunches starting from the RT to the city level, 2) framing discussion clubs by collaborating with educational organizations, and 3) collaborating. with environmental MSMEs as a commercial center (marketplace). Gap Research in products: trainees create a generation of quality and achievers. Price: using the concept of the magnitude of the conclusion. Place: neighborhood MSMEs that can be applied in Surabaya or in-house training. Promotion: promoting the establishment and cooperation with environmental MSMEs as a commercial center (marketplace) and marketing by conducting socialization to stakeholders. Research limitations/implications: Data innovation time is a test for the public, have not been able to take advantage of this change due to the limited English language, especially for young people which is useful. Practical implications: The motivation behind this exploration is to identify the English learning model as a discussion club in Karang Taruna which will also serve as a commercial center (market) for the neighborhood MSMEs as a commercial center (market), and will serve as a pilot project for all Karang Taruna in Indonesia. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dengan industri 4,0 yang menyajikan berbagai kemudahan, mulai dari belanja sampai dengan pembayaran, yang memudahkan kita melakukan transaksi. Membawa masyarakat pada perilaku konsumerisme, dan tentu hal ini ditangkap oleh perbankan untuk memberikan berbagai kemudahan diantaranya kartu kredit, pengajuan kredit yang lebih dipermudah. Kondisi ini mengharuskan masyarakat mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor, diantaranya biaya bunga yang harus ditanggung, jangka waktu, kemudahan akses dan yang terpenting adalah lembaga pemberi pinjaman. Kehadiran pinjol ilegal atau pinjaman online sangat menggiurkan, seperti diberitakan Ernawati, Jujuk, 2021, bahwa pinjaman online atau fintech peer to peer lending ilegal masih menjadi suatu alternatif keuangan yang cukup menggiurkan bagi masyarakat terlebih ketika masa pandemi tahun 2019-2021. Permasalahan kredit yang sering dihadapi dan membingungkan masyarakat adalah bunga efektif atau yang sering ditulis eff*, Permasalahan kredit yang sering dihadapi dan membingungkan masyarakat adalah bunga efektif atau yang sering ditulis eff*, banyak nasabah yang mempertanyakan, “apa yang dimaksud dengan eff*, apakah lebih mahal atau lebih murah?”.Studi ini berusaha membahas secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan bahwa bunga efektif dihitung berdasarkan perhitungan TVOM sementara bunga tunggal dengan mengalikan langsung suku bunga dengan periode pinjaman. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa sebenarnya bunga efektif lebih murah dibandingkan dengan bunga flat.

Abstract

The capital market carries out transactions online, which provides opportunities for people to invest. It is very impressive that it seems as if the capital market is not affordable for the public and the ease of access to the capital market as an investment opportunity is less likely to be captured by the majority of the public due to a lack of understanding about investing in the capital market. This study aims to provide understanding and education regarding processes and strategies in the capital market, so that the public can actively participate in investment activities in the capital market. This study is a qualitative descriptive study by developing an investment scheme and strategy that provides illustrations to facilitate understanding of investors in the capital market. The results of this research are a comprehensive picture of investing starting with the investment process, stock trading mechanisms, various aspects of analysis and investment strategies, so that investors can make investment decisions. The implication of this study is that investors need to determine their investment objectives and have an understanding of investing in the capital market before making investment decisions.

Abstract

Financial distress is a critical issue affecting companies, particularly in the infrastructure, utility, and transportation sectors, which require substantial capital investment. Various factors, including profitability, liquidity, and leverage, influence financial distress, while company size may play a moderating role. Understanding these factors is crucial for corporate decision-makers and investors to mitigate risks and enhance financial stability. This reseach aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on financial distress, with company size as a moderating variable in infrastructure, utility, and transportation firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data obtained from audited financial statements of 30 selected companies over five years (2019–2023), resulting in 150 observations. The study employs SmartPLS version 4 for data analysis, including descriptive statistical tests, measurement model evaluations, and hypothesis testing through bootstrapping. The findings reveal that profitability and liquidity have a significant positive effect on financial distress, while leverage has a significant negative effect. Furthermore, company size moderates the relationship between liquidity and financial distress but does not moderate the effects of profitability and leverage on financial distress. The research concludes that effective financial management, particularly in maintaining profitability and liquidity, is essential in reducing financial distress. Additionally, company size plays a critical role in strengthening liquidity's impact on financial distress. These findings provide theoretical contributions to financial literature and practical implications for corporate financial management and investment decision-making.
