Abstract

As a traditionalist political thinker in modern era, Rasyid Ridha (1865-1935) had shown a relation between caliphate system and modern Islamic state system. He tried to formulate ''tradition" to answer political problem in modern era. Until the value of civil authority and humanized law included/formulated in Islamic state model which draft by him. He believed that the caliphate system could unify Islamic society in one leadership.An idea drafted by Ridha about ahl hal wal aqd institution and caliphate was more thrive than the thinkers before (classical thinkers), especially on competency, characteristic and the duties of caliphate and ahl hal wal aqd. A number of Ridho's idea had repeated classical thinker's thought, but Ridha able to modify it with the social reality. Ridha had made effort to set his ideas with writing activities and political movement to maintain caliphate tradition in Islamic state.

Abstract

This article tries to discuss the forms of philantrophy developed by society to meet the need of financial capital and the factors that become the sosial capital as a supporting factor for the smooth-running of the economy of the mosques: The study uses functional-structuralisme approach to explain the local wisdom of Singarajan People located in Subdistrict Pontang in fullfilling the needs of the mosque funding.Collecte (kotak jum'at), mider (monthly obliged payment), endowment (infak), one-tenth wet rice field of the mosque, wakaf (religious foundation), recompens (hasil selawat) used as the financial sources of Masjid Agung Baetut Taqwa become the concrete samples of the local wisdom of philantrophy practices of all financial sources of the mosque, one-tenth wet rice-field of the mosque gives the greatest contribution. The collected fund is used to fund kaom, supplies expense, care and maintenance, and renovation of the mosqueBased on functional-structuralime point of view, the participative and philantrhropical attitudes of Singarajan society are motivated by the strong structure of kindship and are influenced by the socialites and the ulama. Moreover, the mythes or oral stories dealing with the mosque, wakaf, and other property's right of the mosque that are able to prevent moral distrust toward pilanthripical practices become another influencing factor of participative and philantrhropical attitudes.

Abstract

Islamic banking has problems in determining its identities which are perceived variedly by the people. The profit sharing system and Islamic legal contract developed in Islamic finance are no longer perceived distinctively because they have been modified adjusting to the trends in common finance system. However, aspects that should have been the spirits (ruh) of Islamic finance can be systematically ruined in the merely profit-oriented infrastructure and business vision. Muslim societies' problems should have been solved by the presence of Islamic banking. One of which is the problem of financial access far the have-nots. This can be constructed as a farm of support which acts as identities and cores of Islamic finance. A number of strategic steps offered in this paper are: 1. The purity of akad (contract) and the creation of togetherness; 2. Making humanity problems as the ultimate orientation, not the accumulation of capital- 3. Making use social modal, creating the environment of support through the development of norms and communal awareness in distributing risk as well as conducting continuous guidance. Through those approaches and steps, Islamic banking is expected to have different identities from those of other finance systems. Therefore, togetherness and familyness (jama'ah wal ukhuwah) can constantly become the ultimate spirits in creating nation's welfare as written in article 33 of the National Constitution (UUD 194 5), and not through the individualistic competitive condition. Abstract

Pendekatan ABCD dikenal baik sebagai pendekatan efektif dalam rangka melakukan pemetaan potensi masyarakat berdasarkan asset potensial yang dimiliki dan secara partisipatory memfasilitasi kegiatan dalam rangka membangun komunitas (community development). Kegiatan pemberdayaan melalui pendekatan ABCD membantu masyarakat mengindentifikasi kekuatan dan sumber daya yang mereka miliki untuk kemudian diperkuat melalui berbagai aksi untuk mengolah potensi tersebut menjadi sumber bagi kehidupan ekonomi mereka. Masyarakat penyintas di lingkungan hunian sementara sempat terpuruk akibat tsunami. Mereka membutuhkan kekuatan mental dan modal dalam rangka memulai kembali kehidupan mereka. Diaadakannya pelatihan perencaan usaha melalu pedekatan BMC, promosi wisata dan kelompok keuangan mikro diharapkan mampu meningkatkan mentalitas dan pencerahan untuk ekonomi mereka setelah meninggalkan huntara ke hunian tetap. Abstract

Pada provinsi Banten kemiskinan masih menjadi pusat perhatian bagi pemerintah dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan. Dilihat dari segi perekonomian Islam, maka salah satu solusi untuk mengentaskan atau memperkecil masalah kemiskinan, yaitu dengan mengoptimalkan pendistribusian zakat agar tetap dapat sustainable dengan merekonstruksi dari pola konsumtif menuju produktif. LAZ Harfa Banten menyalurkan dana zakat produktif pada program Kelompok Keuangan Mikro (KKM) yang merupakan salah satu produk dari program Aksi Peduli Ekonomi. LAZ Harfa memiliki beberapa model pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik yang dilakukan agar mampu mengelola dana zakatnya sampai dengan mensejahterakan para mustahik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik berbasis pendayagunaan zakat produktif melalui Kelompok Keuangan Mikro (KKM) dan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari penerapan model pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik tersebut terhadap keberlangsungan kehidupan mustahik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor LAZ Harfa Banten dan salah satu lokasi desa harapan program Kelompok Keuangan Mikro (KKM), yaitu KKM Maju Bersama di Kampung Cipahul Desa Ciodeng Kabupaten Pandeglang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Field Research dan Library Research yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisisnya menggunakan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman, yaitu tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display (penyajian) data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pemberdayaan ekonomi mustahik yang dilakukan dalam program Kelompok Keuangan Mikro (KKM) ialah dengan menerapkan fungsi manajemen berupa Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling, atau yang disingkat menjadi POAC. Selain itu, dalam model pembangunannya menggunakan model pendekatan Asset Based and Community Driven Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada kekuatan, kemampuan, peluang, bakat dan keahlian yang dimiliki masyarakat. Zakat produktif yang dikelola oleh LAZ Harfa melalui program Kelompok Keuangan Mikro mampu meningkatkan ekonomi mustahik, melatih kemandirian, mengubah pola pikir menjadi lebih baik dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mustahik tentang ilmu-ilmu agama

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of market orientation, product innovation, and halal supply chain on marketing performance among Muslim MSMEs in Pasir Gintung Village, Tangerang Regency, Banten. The research method used is quantitative, with surveys as the data collection technique. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that these three variables have a positive and significant influence on marketing performance. Market orientation helps understand consumer needs, product innovation creates added value, and a halal supply chain increases consumer trust among Muslims. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing market orientation, product innovation, and halal supply chain management to achieve better marketing performance for Muslim MSMEs in Tangerang.Keywords: Market orientation, Product innovation, Halal supply chain. Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial performance of Islamic Rural Banks (IRB) in the Banten region, focusing on profitability and capital adequacy ratios as indicators of financial soundness. Methodology – The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing descriptive and comparative methods. Data from eight IRB institutions in Banten were collected and assessed using the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 3 of 2022 to evaluate the soundness of the IRB. The Paired Sample T-Test was used to analyze four key financial ratios: Return on Assets (ROA), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Capital Adequacy Ratio (KPMM), and Core Capital to Non-Performing Productive Assets (MIAPB). Findings – After the pandemic, profitability declined significantly, with average ratings falling from 3 (moderately adequate) to 4 (less adequate). This decline was evident in lower ROA and higher BOPO, reflecting reduced operational efficiency and profit margins. Capital adequacy remained stable at 2 (adequate), unaffected by the pandemic. Implications – These findings demonstrate the vulnerability of Islamic microfinance institutions to profitability during crises, while also highlighting their resilient capital structures. Policymakers and banking practitioners can utilize these insights to develop adaptive strategies that enhance operational efficiency and crisis preparedness in Islamic banking. Originality – This study contributes to the limited empirical research on the post-COVID-19 financial health of IRB in Indonesia, particularly in Banten province. It uniquely applies the updated POJK No. 3/2022 and integrates profitability and capital indicators to evaluate the resilience of Islamic rural banks during a global health crisis.

Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia masih memiliki tingkat literasi wakaf yang rendah. Penting untuk mengatasi masalah ketidaktahuan publik tentang administrasi wakaf yang efektif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media digital sebagai media untuk meningkatkan literasi wakaf masyarakat Indonesia. Metode kualitatif digunakan dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan mengumpulkan sumber referensi dari buku, artikel ilmiah, laporan riset, dan berbagai karya tulis lainnya. Mengapa literasi wakaf begitu penting? Sebab memiliki pengaruh yang besar bagi pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi. Wakaf memiliki peran yang penting bagi kehidupam publik. Pemahaman masyarakat tentang wakaf akan mempengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk berwakaf sehingga akan memberikan kebermanfaatan untuk banyak pihak. Perkembangan zaman yang semakin modern menuntut lembaga wakaf untuk mensosialisasikan wakaf lebih kreatif. Sarana yang tepat digunakan untuk meningkatkan literasi wakaf masyarakat yaitu memanfaatkan media digital. Kebiasaan masyarakat berinteraksi secara online menjadi peluang untuk menyebarkan konten informatif tentang wakaf lebih luas terutama pada generasi usia produktif. Lembaga wakaf memiliki tanggungjawab mencapai target penghimpunan dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjalankan ajaran Islam.
