Abstract

Usada yeh is essentially a usada lontar that contains the types of diseases, methods of treatment using water and mantras, and various other upakara facilities. In Usada yeh, the composition and order of the dasaksara were known as the primary basis for using the usada treatment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value and concept of traditional medicine in usada yeh lontar. This study was employed descriptive qualitatively using an ethnomedicine approach. The data were analyzed through content analysis of lontar usada yeh and in-depth interviews with a pangusadha and academics in Hinduism. The finding indicated that: The values contained was the value of theological education in the form of the teachings of divinity and worship of Tri Purusa (Parama Shiva, Sada Shiva, and Shiva), and the value of health education, such as knowledge about various diseases, treatment methods, knowledge of usada mantram and means based on Shivaistic concepts through tantric teachings. The concept of usada yeh traditional medicine was based on an understanding of the composition and sequence of dasaaksara, in the form of treatment for all kinds of diseases using several means, namely water, mantram, drops, herbal medicine, spray, powder, usug, sesayut, caru, daksina, and other rituals. Moreover, usada yeh could be implemented by combining any type of wood tree. In conclusion, the values and concepts of traditional medicine in lontar usada yeh are centered on water, mantram and ingredients made from natural ingredients and other rituals.

Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas adalah orang yang mempunyai kelainan fisik dan atau mental, yang dapat mengganggu atau merupakan rintangan dan hambatan bagi diri seorang untuk melakukan kegiatan secara layak. Setiap penyandang disabilitas, khususnya pada anak – anak memiliki tingkat kemandirian yang beragam dalam melakukan kegiatan secara layak. Masalah yang ditemukan pada anak disabilitas adalah adanya ketidakmampuan dalam mengontrol emosional dan sosial, reaksi yang lambat, rentan perhatian pendek, dan ketidakmampuan untuk melakukan aktivitas sehari – hari terutama dalam hal perawatan diri atau personal hygiene. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kemandirian personal hygiene  pada disabilitas di SLB D YPAC Bali. Metode Penelitian merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak disabilitas yang bersekolah di SLB D YPAC Bali dengan sampel berjumlah 36 orang tua, data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Hasil Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 27 responden (75,0%) memiliki anak yang masih memerlukan bantuan dalam menggunakan shampoo saat mencuci rambut, 25 responden (69,4%) memiliki anak yang masih memerlukan bantuan saat mengeringkan rambut, 23 responden (63,9%) memiliki anak yang masih memerlukan bantuan dalam mencuci pakaian dalam, dan 28 responden (77,8%) memiliki anak yang masih dibantu dalam membersihkan alat kelamin saat mandi. Sehingga secara keseluruhan gambaran perilaku kemandirian personal hygiene pada disabilitas di SLB D YPAC Bali dalam ketegori Baik sebanyak 29 responden (80,6%) Kesimpulan Dari 6 kategori dalam kuesioner gambaran kemandirian kemandirian personal hygiene pada disabilitas didapatkan hasil kemandirian personal hygiene yang baik namun terdapat 2 responden (5,6%) memiliki anak dengan kemandirian personal hygiene cukup, dan 5 responden (13,9%) memiliki anak dengan kemandirian personal hygiene kurang. Abstract

The anti-corruption education is a process of learning and forming behavior held in Higher Education to prevent corrupt behavior and criminal acts. The purposes of this study were (1) to analyze the implementation of anti-corruption education, (2) to identify the knowledge about anti-corruption, (3) to identify the anti-corruption attitudes and behaviour, (4) to determine the correlation between knowledge with anti-corruption attitudes and behavior in the academic community of ITEKES Bali. This research employed mixed methods research with a sequential exploratory design. Data were collected qualitatively through interviews and documentation studies on the curriculum of Higher Education and study programs at ITEKES Bali. Moreover, the data were collected quantitatively with google form about the knowledge, anti-corruption attitudes and behaviour of the academic community.The findings indicated that (1) the implementation of anti-corruption education at ITEKES Bali in the form of 2 SKS credits of Anti-Corruption Education courses in each study program, the introduction of anti-corruption values during the PKKMB period, and Anti-Corruption Education Lecturer training activities as well as in other forms of activities such as research and seminars attended by lecturers and students, preparation of anti-corruption education modules, anti-corruption campaigns on social media; (2) the knowledge of ITEKES Bali Academic Community on anti-corruption was still quite good; (3) the attitudes and behavior of the respondents fall into the very good category; (4) the correlation coefficient between Anti-Corruption Education (x) and Anti-Corruption Attitudes and Behavior (y) was (r) = 0.739 with a significance of 0.002. It could be concluded that the correlation between the two variables is significant (0.002 <0.05) with a positive and strong correlation. It is suggested to increase the quantity and quality of anti-corruption knowledge, and the improvement of anti-corruption attitudes and behavior.

Abstract

Edpuzzle is an interactive video-based learning platform increasingly utilized in various educational settings, including English language teaching. English for Pharmacist courses aim to equip pharmacy students with the necessary language skills to communicate effectively in professional settings in pharmacy. This study aimed to determine the implementation of Edpuzzle in teaching English to Pharmacists at ITEKES Bali. This study employed a qualitative research design. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed qualitatively. The findings revealed that implementing Edpuzzle in English for Pharmacist courses at ITEKES Bali effectively enhanced students' comprehension of English and left a good impression of using it. Edpuzzle enabled the instructors to track student engagement and progress, providing valuable data to inform their teaching approach. Moreover, Its features encouraged the students to stay focused and engaged with the course content, leading to better learning outcomes. The suggestions for the Edpuzzle video include adding more questions and increasing their difficulty levels to ensure attentive viewing. In conclusion, using Edpuzzle has positively impacted the learning process of English for Pharmacist courses at ITEKES Bali, improving students' understanding and engagement with the course materials. Edpuzzle can be an effective tool in teaching English for Specific Purposes, particularly in the context of English for Pharmacists.
