Abstract

Covid-19 is a new disease that has become a pandemic, this disease must be watched out for because the transmission is relatively fast, has a mortality rate that cannot be ignored. Until now, cases of Covid 19 virus sufferers have continued to increase, cases in landmark Sulawesi reached 3,568 positive confirmed cases, 2,348 recovered cases and 66 cases died. (Media Indonesia in covid 19, 2020). It is suspected that this case will continue to increase if public awareness of complying with health protocols is not implemented. Besides that, it is necessary to increase the body's immune system considering that the virus can enter the human body when the immune system is decreased. The body's immune system is important to maintain in the current Covid 19 era, one of the natural resources that is quite abundant in Southeast Sulawesi at a low price and has a high enough antioxidant content is ginger rhizome, this ginger rhizome is often found in traditional markets and farmers. In addition, ginger rhizome contains a lot of active compounds that are healthy for the body, in the midst of limited supply of vitamin C production and it is difficult to reach for the middle to lower class, this ginger rhizome really helps people in increasing the immune system. This community service activity is carried out in Kadia sub-district, Kadia sub-district, Kendari city, considering that from June to October there has been an increase in the number of positive cases of Covid in this area, it is very necessary to provide education to the community and invite the community, especially in this place of service, to continue to obey healthy protocol and maintaining the body's immune system by consuming ginger with several preparations, as well as planting ginger in the yard of the house as a means of providing ginger for the family.

Abstract

Etnopedagogi katoba as character education model has been studied in ethnic Muna.The purpose ofthis study was to understand the process of implementation katoba ritual,knowing construction of people's minds about the ritualsof ethnic Muna katoba and knowthe value substance contained in Katoba tradition and where the relevance in charactereducation and environmental education for children.        This research is a qualitative research on the community in Muna, the Socio-Anthropological approaches, the research concerned with the study of man and society,interaction and social facts of both. This research data sources such as traditional leaders,religious leaders, indigenous people Muna. Data collection techniques used in this studyusing three ways namely interview, participatory observation and documentation study. Tomaintain the credibility of the research done a few techniques that extend the observationperiod, continuous observation, triangulation of data and Member check.        The results showed that the ritual katobais a form of character education andeducation ofthe child's environment that includes the opening (dofetapa), the priestintroduced the terms katobain children, leads a child to give istigfar followed by utteringtwo sentence screed and finally gave an explanation of the meaning katoba and doprayerled by priests. The context of the implementation of katoba ritual taught to children isa form of affirmation of a child as amark of Muslims and Islamic status of a child.Teachings given by the priest to children in katoba ritualis a set of ideas, idea sorvalues thatare very deep in herited by the an cestor and became very comprehensive local knowledgeto shape the character of a child in interacting with Allah, humans and the environment.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengaktualisasikan program rancangan perubahan pada satuan kerja sebagai ejawantah dari kegiatan pelatihan dasar (Latsar) CPNS Golongan III Angkatan Pertama Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia Tahun 2024 dengan Panitia penyelenggara dari Balai Diklat Keagamaan (BDK) Surabaya. Adapun program yang dirancang untuk aktualisasi core values ASN Ber-AKHLAK ialah pembuatan aplikasi layanan digital penelitian mandiri dosen di IAIN Kendari yang diberi nama PERMANEN. Untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis aktualisasi pada satuan kerja di IAIN Kendari, maka digunakan model Participatory Tecnology Development yang memanfaatkan teknologi tepat guna secara maksimal yang berbasis pada ilmu pengetahuan dan kearifan budaya lokal. Adapun tahapannya ialah (1) identifikasi isu aktual menggunakan alat tapisan AKPK (aktual, kekhalayakan, problematik, kelayakan), USG (urgency, seriousness, growth), dan fishbone diagram; (2) Menyusun langkah kegiatan pembuatan aplikasi; dan (3) pembuatan aplikasi PERMANEN di IAIN Kendari. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi, ditemukan beberapa kendala serta solusi dalam penanganannya. Pengabdian ini amat penting dan bermanfaat karena;pertama, sebagai arsip digital penelitian dosen, kedua, untuk menguatkan fungsi dan peran LPPM sebagai lembaga pelayanan administrasi penelitian, ketiga, untuk memberikan kemudahan akses bagi tim borang akreditasi institusi dan program studi di lingkungan IAIN Kendari, dan keempat, sebagai aplikasi yang terintegrasi dengan layanan SISTER Kemdikbudristekdikti.

Abstract

Students often have low environmental awareness. This can be seen from daily behavior that does not pay attention to the importance of maintaining and caring for the environment. One way to improve students' ability to develop environmental identity is through Environmental Education (PLH). This research aims to explore the development of environmental identity of students in grades four to six of Champion Elementary School in the city of Bandung through outdoor learning experiences. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 12 participating students, using open-ended questions and analyzed by Colaizzi's descriptive phenomenological methods. This research aims to explore the development of environmental identity of students in grades four to six of Champion Elementary School in the city of Bandung through outdoor learning experiences. The type of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The findings of this study reveal that children develop their environmental identity through outdoor learning experiences that include four aspects: Environmental Love Movement, Clean and Neat Champion (Jurasik), Waste Management, and Eco-Friendly Activities. These aspects are integrated into the overall pro-environment attitude of students. This research has implications for increasing students' awareness of attitudes and literacy towards the environment.

Abstract

Teaching Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in secondary schools often faces challenges related to students’ low interest and understanding, especially when the material taught is abstract. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of animation-based video learning media in improving students’ learning outcomes and engagement in IRE lessons. The research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles involving 37 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Kendari. Data were collected through observations, learning achievement tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed a significant increase in teacher activity from 70% to 86.66% and student activity from 63.33% to 86.66%. The class average score improved from 73.33 in the pre-cycle to 93.24 in the second cycle, with overall mastery reaching 89.19%. The findings indicate that animated videos effectively bridge the understanding of abstract concepts, motivate students to participate more actively, and create an engaging and participatory learning atmosphere. This study underscores the importance of integrating visual-audio media into IRE learning and contributes to the literature on the effectiveness of digital media in religious education. The implications suggest that IRE teachers are encouraged to adopt animation-based videos as an innovative teaching strategy, while future research could explore the long-term effects on students’ affective and psychomotor domains.
