Abstract

The rapid growth of technology has had a significant impact on the lifestyle of pre-teens, especially those belonging to the Alpha generation. This study explores the role of digital parenting in shaping the behavior and academic performance of sixth-grade students at Stella Maris Private Elementary School in Jambi City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews with parents, teachers, and students. This study involved 4 sixth-grade students. The findings reveal that most parents apply a democratic parenting style, which allows children to explore digital media with appropriate guidance and boundaries. This method has proven effective in helping children balance digital exposure with academic responsibilities. Conversely, authoritarian and neglectful parenting styles are rarely applied due to their negative impact on children's emotional and social development. Permissive parenting, while offering freedom, tends to lead to a lack of discipline and declining academic performance. The study concludes that democratic parenting, when integrated with clear digital media usage rules, plays a crucial role in supporting the development of pre-teens in the digital era. Practical implications of these findings highlight the importance of parents' role in setting clear boundaries for digital media use, as well as adopting a parenting style that supports children's emotional, social, and academic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan TPACK yang dilaksanakan oleh guru – guru di sekolah dasar. Hal ini dengan cara memberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana guru sekolah dasar mampu mengembangkan dan menerapkan berbasis TPACK dalam praktik pengajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan sebagai pendekatan penelitian dan dilaksanakan menggunakan literatur (kepustakaan). Dengan melakukan perbandingan peneliti ingin mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan dari penelitian sebelumnya. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengkombinasi antara pengetahuan konten (CK), pedagogik (PK), dan teknologi (TK) dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru di era digital dituntut untuk tidak hanya menguasai pengetahuan dan keterampilan pedagogik, tetapi juga mampu memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif. Karakteristik guru modern mencakup kemampuan sebagai fasilitator, pengembangan metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, minat baca dan menulis yang tinggi, serta kemampuan untuk melakukan transformasi kultural dalam pendidikan. Secara keseluruhan, TPACK menawarkan solusi kreatif dan adaptif untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di abad ke-21, memerlukan komitmen guru untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensi profesional mereka dalam penggunaan teknologi

Abstract

The Project based Learning learning model is a learning approach centered on a challenging and authentic project or task. In this model, students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real contexts, thus motivating them to learn more actively and engaged. The purpose of this study is to improve the English speaking ability of grade VI students of SD Stella Maris Jambi by applying a project-based learning model.  This research is a classroom action research (PTK), this class action research (PTK) is carried out in two cycles with the aim of improving students' English speaking skills. The data collection tools used in this study are tests and observations. The subjects studied were teachers and students of grade VI of SD Stella Maris Jambi. The results of the study show that by using the project-based learning model to improve students' English speaking skills, each cycle has increased significantly. The change that was previously not good became better. Successively based on cycle one and cycle two. Of the 30 students, as many as 7 students (23.33%) did not complete because the scores obtained had not reached the expected KKM, which was 70. So that the percentage of student completeness obtained is 68%. Meanwhile, the Classical Completeness Standard, classically considered to have completed learning if it reaches 80% of the number of students who achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the average score data was 86.67. Of the 30 students, as many as 6 students (23%) did not complete because the scores obtained had not reached the expected KKM, which was 70. So that the percentage of student completeness obtained was 86.67%. Meanwhile, the Classical Completeness Standard, classically considered to have completed learning if it reaches 80% of the number of students who achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. The application of the Picture and Picture learning model can ultimately improve students' English speaking skills at SD Stella Maris Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Keanekaragaman jenis jenis ikan yang terdapat di perairan Luas Kabupaten Kaur provinsi Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan membagi stasiun berdasarkan karakeristik sungai yang terdiri dari tiga lokasi yaitu stasiun A dengan karakteristik sungai yang bebatuan dan berarus deras, satasiun B dengan kerakteristik sungai bebatuan dan berkerikil (koral) arus sedang, stasiun C dengan karakteristik sungai yang berpasir dan arus sedang. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui terdapat 12 spesies ikan. Sicyopterus cynocephalus, Anabas testudineus, Oriochromis niloticus, Trichogaster pectoralis, Oxyeleotris marmorata, Claris batrachus, Rasbora argyrotaenia, Barmonimus gonionotus, Osphronemus goramy, Monopterus albus, Channa Striata, Anguilla bicolor. Dari hasil penelitian dapat juga diketahui indeks keanekaragaman ikan menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh sebesar 2,108 Artinya, nilai keanekaragaman jenis ikan di Sungai perairan Luas Kabupaten Kaur ini memiliki spesies yang sedang
