Abstract

AbstractSpeech acts have a function as a communication tool to convey the message or speaker's intent to the speech partner. During the debate, the debate participants argued that they expressed their vision and mission to convince the public to choose one of the candidates for Singkawang mayor and deputy mayor in 2017 and an implementation plan in Indonesian language lessons at school. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in the study were transcribed speech sentences that contained speech acts of promises and offer commissives contained in the public debate of the mayor and deputy mayor of Singkawang in 2017. The techniques used were documentary techniques. The data collection tools used in the study is the researcher herself as instruments. Based on the results of the analysis of the commissive speech act data in the debates of the 2017 singkawang mayor and deputy mayor candidates, the researcher found out 33 data on the commissive speech acts, which are consist of 22 commissive promises of speech acts and 11 offer speech acts. This research was implemented in the high school grade X class 2 semester at basic competencies (KD) 3.12 connects problems/issues of perspectives and arguments of several parties and conclusions from the debate to find the essence of the debate. Keywords: speech acts, commissive speech acts, mayor debates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SMP di Kecamatan Prabumulih Utara Kota Prabumulih. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa SMP di Kecamatan Prabumulih Utara Kota Prabumulih sebanyak 129 orang, yang dipergunakan untuk sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 guru dan siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner menggunakan skala likert, dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi dan regresi dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 26.0 dan manual. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa; 2) Motivasi kerja guru terhadap berpengaruhb secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa; 3) Terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning motivation through the use of the GeoGebra learning application in overcoming challenges related to student interest in mathematics learning, particularly at SDN 074 Ayudia, Bandung City, with a population of all students and a sample of 31 students from class VA. This study uses a quantitative research method with an explanatory research approach. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling, while the instruments used are questionnaires and tests. The data analysis requirements testing includes normality testing using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and linearity testing, with the hypothesis tested through correlation and regression analysis using SPSS version 26. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the GeoGebra application has a significant effect on students' mathematics learning motivation. The correlation analysis shows a very strong relationship between the two variables, with a correlation coefficient of 0.826, indicating that the use of the GeoGebra application can increase students' motivation in learning mathematics. This study also found that the GeoGebra application contributes 68.3% to the variation in students' learning motivation, showing that this technology has a significant impact on motivating students. This study implies that the GeoGebra application can be an effective learning tool to enhance students' motivation in mathematics learning.
