Abstract

Background:From the preliminary study by the researcher with the inpatient nursing department through in-depth interviews, there were problems such as complaints from patients who were in pain, there were nurses who did not come immediately and provide nursing care. Through interviews with nurses, it was found that career development procedures had not been prepared in nursing management. In addition, there are nurses who are several times late more than the stipulated time. Then there are still complaints that the incentives received are still insufficient. Methods:This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The population was 257 all nurses in the inpatient room at Bahteramas Hospital, with a sample of 141 samples using simple random sampling. Results:Using the cramer coefficient, it is obtained a value of 0.732, this shows the strength of the relationship between leadership style in work and job satisfaction of nurses. And the cramer coefficient is obtained a value of 0.620, this shows the strength of the relationship between leadership style in work and job satisfaction of nurses in the inpatient room at Bahteramas Hospital in the strong relationship category. Conclusion:There is a relationship between leadership style and working conditions on the job satisfaction of nurses in the inpatient room of the Bahteramas Hospital.

Abstract

Background:Southeast Sulawesi Provincial data shows thatCommunity life behavior is measured by the number of households with a clean and healthy lifestyle which is assessed based on predetermined indicators. in 2015 the percentage of Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors was 45%, in 2016 there was an increase of 52% and decreased in 2017 by 49% and 2018 by 46%, for 2019 there was an increase in the percentage of 53% again.Based on these data the coverage is still low because the target set according to the minimum service standard is 80%. The orientation of community empowerment for health cadres is still insufficient, it is noted that only 36 people have received community empowerment training. The insufficient number of cadres can also make a negative contribution, resulting in the lack of achievement of the Puskesmas program Methods:This type of research is a quantitative study, with a cross sectional study approach. The population in this study amounted to 100 people and a sample of 80 all cadres in 20 Posyandu in the working area of ??Puskesmas Poasia, Kendari City. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. Result:Based onthe results of statistical tests show that the value (X2hit) = 0.286 <X2tab =3,841, meaning that there is no relationship between experience and performance of clean and healthy living behavior cadres, household structures and values ??(X2hit) = 15,556> X2tab =3,841, meaning that there is a relationship between training and the performance of clean and healthy living behavior cadres in household arrangements in the working area of ??Puskesmas Poasia, Kendari City. Conclusion:Cadres are expected to play an active role in increasing their knowledge and experience through training activities on cadre performance held by Puskesmas Poasia.

Abstract

Background: A hospital in Kendari  is tracing the problems namely about interactions with employees. Also the information about the strategies which is used to improve hospital performance has not been clearly stated. The efforts to improve services are still relatively routine in nature. The use of strategic terms is still relatively traditional, so the strategic position of this hospital is unclear. The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship between the cost leadership strategy and the quality of health services in Kendari City Hospital.  Methods: This research is quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The research location was in  the Kendari City Regional Hospital and was conducted from February to March 2021. The population was 456 people and a sample of 95 people was all employees of the Kendari City Regional Hospital. The sampling technique used the Proportive Random Sampling. Results: There is a relationship between Cost leadership strategy with Service Quality, it is known that the value of chi square ( X2 count is greater than X2table, and a value of Phi is  0.239 or  it lies between 0.20-0.399. This  means that there is a weak relationship. Conclusion: Offensive Strategy or Growth is a strategy that is recommended to improve the quality of services in the Kendari City Regional Hospital.

Abstract

Background: Based on interviews with 20 families who live in Tirawuta District, it was found that 11 people (55%)  had never received counseling from health workers about the importance of using healthy latrines, 5 people (25%)  could  not provide latrine facilities, and 4 people (20%) said that for latrine needs, the mosque is located next to the house. The purpose of this study is to understanding the relationship of knowledge and health worker’s support with latrine using in Tirawuta Sub-District, East Kolaka District. Methods: The research used quantitative method through a cross sectional study approach. The population of this study were  all of the household heads who live in Tirawuta Subdistrict, Kolaka Timur Regency, namely 3,964 heads of households.  A sample of this study were 94 people with a sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Result: Based on the results of the X2 statistical testcount= 36.191> X2Table= 3.481 and the value φ = 0.620 which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that there is a relationship of knowledge to the achievement of access to latrine use. X2count 20,821> X2table 3,481and the value φ = 0.471, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, thus there is a relationship between support from health workers and the achievement of access to using latrines in Tirawuta Subdistrict, Kolaka Timur Regency. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the knowledge and support of health workers and the performance of using latrines in Tirawuta Subdistrict, Kolaka Timur Regency.

Abstract

Background: Increasing the ratio of referral systems and referral systems Online referral systems for outpatients are still a problem in the work area of the Konawe District Health Center, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study aims to determine the relationship between the availability of facilities and infrastructure with the referral system for the Healthy Indonesia Card Guarantee in Konawe Regency. Methods: This type of research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional study design. The population is all public health centre that have health workers who have KIP and outpatients with Healthy Indonesia Cards in Konawe Regency who carry out examinations and outpatients as many as 87 people. The sample size in this study was 46 respondents, which were taken by simple random sampling. This research instrument uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data that has been collected, then analyzed using the chi square test and the test of the closeness of the relationship (phi coefficient). Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship between the availability of facilities and infrastructure and the referral system for the Healthy Indonesia Card Guarantee in Konawe Regency, where X² count > X² count (31.843>3.841). Conclusion: Rehabilitative services have not been implemented properly at the public health center in Konawe Regency, because the facilities and infrastructure are not yet available to carry out these services. Therefore, it is necessary to procure facilities and infrastructure to support medical services at the public health center.

Abstract

Background: Infant mortality is one of the targets of health problems in sustainable development. The vast majority of infant deaths are preventable, with high-quality, evidence-based interventions in the form of data. Based on the results of the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI) infant mortality in 2017 was 24/1,000 KH with neonatal mortality of 15/1,000. There was a decrease in the infant mortality rate (IMR) in 2017, compared to the IMR in 2012 which amounted to 32/1,000 KH and 19/1,000 KH neonatal. This study aims to analyze the behavior of childbirth and infant care through the behavior of local wisdom so as to prevent neonatal death. Methods: This study uses a quantitative observational method through a Case Control Study Design approach. The population in this study were all mothers in the coastal area of the Konawe Islands Regency. Results: Birth behavior and baby care at risk provide opportunities for neonatal events. Health agencies need to increase education to the public about risk factors, causes of neonatal death and efforts to prevent neonatal death to mothers and expectant mothers and their families to pay attention to pregnant and postpartum women. Conclusion: For the community, it is necessary to regulate the age of marriage with efforts to control it from the local government
