Abstract

The objectives of this study include: (1) to find out how a thematic approach is used in the development of integrated learning using the webbed model, which focus on the concept of learning by doing in kindergarten; (2) to determine the effectiveness of the web-based integrated learning model using a thematic approach that focus on the concept of learning through early childhood learning; (3) to create a valid Webbeb learning model using the learning-by-doing concept. The method in this study is a research and development approach. The results of this study include: (1) the development of this teaching tool is based on research and development theory that focuses on creating a teaching device so that learning is not monotonous, draws children’s attention to learning, so that learning is more meaningful, because children are more proactive in problem solving using their real experiences; (2) Webbeb learning model, based on a thematic approach through a learning-by-doing concept, is effective for classroom learning because it focuses on learners so that learners find their own material concepts by focusing on the school environment; and (3) a web-integrated learning model using a thematic approach through a learning-by-doing concept that was created after validation by a multi-custom validator. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: The Effect of Democratic Leadership and Work Motivation on Lecturer Performance at STAI Ibnu Sina Batam, Riau Islands. This research approach uses survey research. The time of the research was carried out starting in March 2021. The research population was 31 lecturers who taught at STAI Ibnu Sina Batam, Riau Islands. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the census method where the population acted as a sample. The results show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of democratic leadership individually (partial) on the performance of lecturers at STAI Ibnu Sina Batam, Riau Islands, with tcount = 3.936 > ttable = 1.99. 2) There is no positive and significant effect of work motivation individually (partial) on the performance of lecturers at STAI Ibnu Sina Batam, Riau Islands, with tcount = 0.195 < ttable = 1.99. 3) There is a simultaneous (simultaneous) influence of democratic leadership and work motivation on the performance of lecturers at STAI Ibnu Sina Batam, Riau Islands, where Fcount = 12.841 > Ftable = 2.73. Based on the results of the study, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.478 or (47.8%). This shows that 47.8% of lecturers' performance is influenced by democratic leadership and work motivation. While 52.2% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this research model.

Abstract

AbstractThis  study  aims  to  determine  the  effect  of  problem  based  learning  models  for  mathematicalcommunication  and  problem  solving  skills  in  grade  VII  students  of  Junior  High  School  in districtMergangsan. The method in this study is a quasi experimental research with pre-test post-test groupdesign.  The  samples  in  this  study  are  the  students  of  Junior  High  School Taman  Dewasa  IbuPawiyatan of  grade  VIIA and  VIIB,  each  of  which  is  treated  with  problem-based  learning  andexpository model respctively. The instrument used in this study were the test and observation sheets.Data  analysis  technique  used were  T2-Hotteling  test  to  determine  the  significance  differences  andfurther  tests  using  independent  sample  t-test  test.  The  results  of   statistics  descriptive  test  analysisshowed  that  the  problem  based  learning  models  give  posttest  average  value  higher  than  theexpository, namely for the class with problem-based learning models have the posttest averaged valueof  84.25  for  mathematical  communication  skills  and  problem  solving  skills  of  85.05,.  While  in  theclassroom with expository have posttest average value of 71.64 and problem solving skills of 69.34.Based on the average results the model of problem-based learning is more influential and significantthan  the  expository  teaching  of  the  mathematical  communication  skills  and  problem  solving.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, mathematical communication, problem solving.

Abstract

Symbolic thinking ability is one of the essential cognitive aspects that need to be developed from an early age. This study aims to explore the efforts of teachers in improving children's symbolic thinking skills through geometry play activities at TK Sangiantina, Kabaena Tengah Subdistrict, Bombana Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. The research subjects consisted of 20 children from TK Sangiantina. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation, and evaluation of geometry play activities. he evaluation results regarding the enhancement of symbolic thinking skills through geometry play activities indicate significant improvement. This is evident from the comparison of initial observation results before and after the intervention. Before the intervention, the percentage was 45% (9 out of 20 children), with 2 children categorized as "Developing Very Well" (BSB) and 7 children as "Developing as Expected" (BSH). In Cycle I, the percentage increased to 60% (12 out of 20 children), with 5 children in the BSB category and 7 in the BSH category. In Cycle II, the percentage rose further to 80% (16 out of 20 children), with 9 children categorized as BSB and 7 as BSH. In conclusion, symbolic thinking skills in Group B children can be enhanced through geometry play activities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Pamulang secara parsial dan simultan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 71 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi, analisis koefisien korelasi, analisis determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitin ini yaitu determinasi sebesar 35,5% dan pada uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung 6.162 > ttabel 1.667 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh siginifikasi terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 79,4% dengan uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai thitung 16.305 > ttabel 1.667 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Komitmen Organisasi dan Kepuasan Kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dengan persamaan regresi Y = 11.914 + 0,081 X1 + 0,657 X2. Nilai korelasi sebesar 0,894 yang artinya variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat memiliki tingkat hubungan yang sangat kuat. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,800. Uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai fhitung 135. 623 > ftabel 3.13 hal ini diperkuat dengan nilai pvalue 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian maka H0 ditolak dan H3 diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara simultan antara Komitmen Organisasi, Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Pamulang

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to increase children’s creativity in fine arts material through the use of montage technique at TK Putri Ananda, increase teacher’s instructional effectiveness in teaching fine arts material through the use of montage technique at TK Putri Ananda, and to increase children’s learning activities in fine arts material through the use of montage technique at TK Putri Ananda.Results of the study showed that, after conducting treatments in two cycles with four meetings to remedy learning, it was found that the use of montage technique could increase the children’s creativity, as indicated by results of evaluation using an assessment guideline (BSB + BSH), which was 68.75% in cycle I and 87.5 in cycle II. These results suggested that the children’s creativity at TK Putri Ananda has increased as a result of using montage technique in the teaching of fine arts material. The study was concluded after cycle II since the minimum target of learning completeness set by the school, which was 85%, had been met. In terms of the learning completeness, the implementation of lesson scenario by the teacher reached 90%, which meant that it had been well done. Finally, the children’s activities in their learning of montage successfully increased to 87.5%. Keywords: Creativity, Fine Arts, Montage
