<![CDATA[Surat instruksi yang dikeluarkan oleh Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah (PWM) Sumatera Utara terkait penentuan sikap politik pada satu calon anggota DPD RI pada pemilu tahun 2019 dalam menyikapi dinamika politik tahun 2019 telah menimbulkan pro kontra bagi anggota dan simpatisan Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara dalam menyikapi nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kebijakan komunikasi PWM Sumut dalam menyikapi pemilu DPD RI tahun 2019 yang berasal dari Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik judgement sampling yaitu narasumber yang telah ditetapkan berdasarkan kebutuhan. Analisis dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan melakukan verifikasi terhadap data yang ada. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa Kebijakan komunikasi PWM Sumut merupakan bagian dari ijtihad politik Muhammadiyah secara transparan dan tetap memberikan kebebasan (sebagai panduan) bagi anggota dan simpatisan Muhammadiyah dalam menentukan sikap politiknya]]>

<![CDATA[Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi & informasi di saat ini telah membuat manusia berada pada kehidupan yang serba praktis dan efisien, terutama hadirnya media sosial. Dampak negatif yang hadir karena media sosial adalah cybercrime. Cybercrime merupakan sebuah kejahatan yang dilakukan menggunakan jaringan atau internet. Untuk mengantisipasi permasalahan cybercrime pada remaja maka diperlukannya kemampuan literasi media. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi media pada remaja dalam upaya mengantisipasi Cybercrime di Kota Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara serta teknik analisis datanya yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan literasi media pada remaja dalam upaya mengantisipasi Cybercrime di Kota Medan berada pada level basic, yakni tingkat kemampuan remaja untuk menganalisis konten-konten media atau informasi terkait dengan cybercrime cukup baik namun masih terbatas sesuai pengetahuan yang mereka miliki saja serta tidak memiliki pemikiran yang kritis terkait cybercrime tersebut.]]>

<![CDATA[The government's policy on the learning system through network media during the COVID-19 pandemic has pros and cons in the community. For those who are pro against the policy, it is based on the consideration that health is far more important than gaining knowledge through face-to-face in order to anticipate the spread of the corona virus. Meanwhile, those who are against think that learning activities through the network will have an impact on the development of students/children in developing knowledge and the interaction process that is not going well during the pandemic. This study aims to determine how the influence of parental interpersonal communication on children's anxiety during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with data collection carried out through questionnaires to 400 respondents. The data obtained were then analyzed using SPSS 25.0 software for windows. The results of the study found that interpersonal communication between parents and children carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic related to children's education greatly influenced the development of children's education. The learning system that takes place in a network, makes parents and students experience very significant obstacles. In addition, the learning process through the network also affects the psychology of children's growth and development.]]>

<![CDATA[The community partnership program with the title Personality Development and Leadership Communication Skills for Youth in Kampung Sejahtera Medan City is to provide knowledge of soft skills in terms of developing communication skills for adolescents in Kampung Sejahtera, Petisah Tengah Village, Medan Petisah Subdistrict, Medan City. This activity was carried out at the Kampung Sejahtera river school hall, Jalan KH. Zainul Arifin, Medan City. The implementation of this activity is carried out in the first week and end of July 2022. The method of implementation in this activity program is using lectures, group discussions, and mentoring for youth in order to improve soft skills of personality characteristics, good personality, good performance, and skills and abilities. skills in communication. The results of the activities that have been carried out in this community partnership program have provided a positive response for the youth activity participants, such as high enthusiasm in participating in the activities. In addition, some that appear that are often encountered can be given an explanation from program implementers that can increase youth's knowledge regarding the development of communication skills and skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Problematika kasus intoleransi antar umat beragama dapat dilihat dari beberapa kasus, seperti pembakaran tempat ibadah di Tanjung Balai, penyerangan Klenteng di Kediri dan mobilisasi massa untuk memprotes mantan Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (BTP) yang merendahkan QS. Al-Maidah ayat 51 pada tahun 2017, kasus penistaan agama yang dilakukan oleh Pendeta Saifuddin Ibrahim terkait pernyataan menghapus 300 ayat Alquran dan beberapa kasus lainnya menggambarkan tren intoleransi yang semakin meluas di masyarakat Indonesia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kampanye moderasi beragama di era digital sebagai upaya preventif millenial mereduksi kasus intoleransi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi dengan melakukan telaah dari berbagai sumber baik dari Al-Quran, Hadits, buku ilmiah, jurnal, dokumen dan tulisan-tulisan lain sebagai pembanding dan penunjang yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kampanye moderasi beragama yang dilakukan oleh kaum milenial dapat dilakukan melalui dunia maya. Melalui aksi moderasi beragama di lapangan kemudian mengekspos kegiatan tersebut di media sosial, serta melakukan semarak kampanye moderasi beragama melalui podcast di Youtube dan Instagram serta beberapa media sosial lainnya, penggunaan theory agenda setting sebagai upaya kampanye moderasi beragama di era digital dapat menjadi solusi jitu tindakan preventif kasus intoleransi di Indonesia]]>

<![CDATA[One of the factors that influence children's independence is parenting style. Parenting style includes the process of educating, guiding, disciplining and protecting children to reach maturity in accordance with the norms in society. Divorce or death of a partner is something that cannot be avoided in the family. This often has a big impact on family life. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used in this research is to describe the research results obtained from the interview results. begins with data reduction which is carried out by selecting data, simplifying data, abstracting, and transferring raw data that emerges from written notes in the field then presenting the data by interpreting it descriptively. Communication patterns used by single parents can be categorized into linear, interaction and transaction. Several situations encountered in everyday life encourage the use of different communication patterns. Thus a single parent can use more than one communication pattern. The three types of communication patterns used by single parents can actually shape children's independence although at different levels. The term single parent is often used to refer to mothers who have a single parent role because most children whose parents are divorced are in the care of a mother. In addition to supporting and facilitating children, parents also need to give responsibility to them according to their abilities, this aims to build children's independence from an early age.]]>

<![CDATA[The presence of digital media is an important part that needs attention. The speed of information and communication that currently dominates society certainly also influences social and cultural life. The advancement of digital media has expanded to Indonesia, especially in urban areas. The development of digital media which is characterized by the expansion of internet networks in various countries with different cultures makes it easy for the people of one country or one city to another to share information, in various countries and cities. Digital media is a place for teenagers to introduce a culture that has begun to fade. This study aims to find out how much awareness the teenagers in Medan City have about local culture and how teenagers use digital media. This study used a qualitative descriptive research type by collecting data from journals for the last 10 years, other literature research and conducting interviews with Medan city youth. The result of this research is that teenagers are starting to be aware of the presence of local culture and redeveloping it by creating content through digital media platforms with the aim of introducing Malay culture to all corners of the world.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal to be achieved in this community service program is to help tourism managers as well as the people of Namo Sialang Village, Langkat Regency to develop, increase motivation and ability in the field of social media-based promotion by creating attractive advertising design content using applications on smartphones. Based on the results of the implementation of community service carried out, the socialization of activity programs by the service team can be explained about how strategies in developing Tangkahan tourism in Langkat Regency through brand tourism, strengthening institutions for tourism managers who are also people of Namo Sialang Village and making attractive designs and content based on social media which can provide opportunities in developing tourism Tangkahan Langkat Regency. <![CDATA[This study aims to find out how the influence of the socialization of the Covid-19 vaccine program on children by the Indonesian government has on the level of parental acceptance in Medan City. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach to 200 parents of elementary school students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and data analysis was carried out by testing hypotheses through t-test and f-test and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study found that the outreach carried out by the government about the benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine for children was not effective. This can be seen from the results of the coefficient of determination test, whether there is a level of trust of respondents in the information on the Covid-19 vaccine and whether there is a child's behavior in implementing the health protocol which is carried out simultaneously. regarding the respondent's attitude regarding Covid-19 vaccination for children, the respondent's acceptance rate was 14.1%. This shows the failure of the Indonesian government in socializing the benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine for children in efforts to prevent Covid-19.]]>
