Abstract

The study was motivated by the problems faced by students of Mathematics Education of Aceh Muhammadiyah University. Students had difficulty studying discrete mathematics course. Based on preliminary observations, the problem that often arised was when graphing, especially for more complex issues that require longer time for manually drawing. Besides, the availability of discrete mathematics module is limited, especially the one using software maxima for solving problems. Therefore, it is necessary to develop discrete module mathematics assisted by wxMaxima software. Discrete Mathematics Module Development Research wxMaxima assisted by software aims to produce the ICT-based discrete mathematics modules that are valid and practical. The method used was research development. The model used was the Plomp model development, involving (1) the initial investigation phase, (2) the design phase, (3) the realization phase/construction, and (4) the phase of the test, evaluation and revision. The results showed that the development of discrete mathematics module assisted with wxmaxima software was valid, as indicated by the validation results that showed a valid criterion. Discrete mathematics modules developed was practical, as seen from the results of the field trials in the Department of Mathematics, University of Muhammadiyah Tarbiyah Aceh, where the average student activities showed good criterion.

Abstract

Water bikes can be used as one of the vehicles in water tourism areas such as Ulee Lheue. Water bikes are used as a medium for surface transportation and fishing. Of course, this can increase the enthusiasm of those who visit the tourist destination of Ulee Lheue on weekends and holidays. High enthusiasm can increase the number of tourists, which increases income and sustains the economy of people around Ulee Lheue. Personal watercraft are constructed using fibrous pins or floats, using propeller drives, and using bicycle frames, usually modified. The steering wheel has a plate at the front and is designed to control the direction of rotation (left and right). A good community economy is expected to deliver the goodness of the community itself. Therefore, watercraft manufacturing activities must be carried out in Ulee Lheue. The implementation of this activity takes place in his two phases of implementing the activity, including creating the water bike design and manufacturing the water bike frame. The existence of water bikes can be used as an alternative to water tourism like Ulee Lheue. Water bikes are used as a medium for surface transportation and fishing. Of course, this can increase the enthusiasm of the community to visit her Ulee Lheue, a tourist destination. In fact, this water he slide is a popular ride for visitors wanting to explore lakes, reservoirs, and artificial ponds.

Abstract

The low ability of students' mathematical understanding and communication as well as the importance of both the enhanced capabilities require a learning model that provides the opportunity for students to construct their own knowledge, one of models is generative learning model. For this reason, researchers interested in conducting research on the application of generative learning model in mathematics learning activities. This study was an experimental study with quantitative approach aimed to obtain the increase in the ability of students' mathematical understanding and communication in mathematical learning using generative learning model reviewed based on the overall student and the student level. This study used a pretest-posttest design with a control group. Data collecting by using a test to determine the gain of ability students' mathematical understanding and communication. Based on analysis of the data concluded that (1) the increase of students mathematical understanding abilities which learning obtain by generative models better than the increase of students' mathematical understanding abilities taught by conventional learning reviewed by the overall student or student level, (2) the increase of students mathematical communication abilities taught by learning generative models better than the increase of students' mathematical communication abilities which taught conventional learning reviewed based on the overall student and the student level, (3) there is no interaction between the factors of the learning approach with the level of mathematical ability and the increase of students 'mathematical understanding, and (4) there is no interaction between factors learning approach and the level of students to the improvement of students' mathematical communication abilities.

Abstract

Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak rasional akan berdampak besar terhadap terjadinya resistensi. Permintaan antibiotik restriksi kategori reserve saat ini dilakukan melalui proses manual berupa pengisian lembar restriksi oleh Dokter Penanggung Jawab Pasien (DPJP), lembar tersebut akan diteruskan Apoteker setelah mendapat persetujuan oleh Komite pengendalian Resistensi Antimikroba (KPRA) RSUDZA. Proses manual ini dinilai kurang efisien dan berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi pengendalian penggunaan antibiotik restriksi kategori reserve pada pasien rawat inap di RSUDZA. Desain penelitian ini Research and Development (R & D). Pengambilan data dilakukan secara prospektif selama periode Mei – Juli 2024. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling pasien rawat inap yang diresepkan antibiotik kategori reserve. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rancangan aplikasi Antibiotik Restriksi telah mencapai 80% dan didapatkan total jumlah sampel adalah 16 pasien rawat inap yang diresepkan antibiotik kategori reserve, didapatkan 9 sampel yang disetujui permintaan penggunaan antibiotik restriksi dan 7 sampel yang tidak disetujui oleh KPRA. Informasi persetujuan penggunaan antibiotik restriksi  secara otomatis akan terkirim melalui pesan tulis pada aplikasi Whatsapp. Rerata waktu tanggap konfirmasi persetujuan permintaan  antibiotik kategori reserve adalah 42,6 menit. Selama uji coba penggunaan aplikasi sistem informasi ini, diperlukan evaluasi dan monitoring untuk mendukung pengembangan aplikasi sistem informasi antibiotik restriksi  di masa yang akan datang.
