Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan KBK siswa dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pesawat sederhana di kelas VIII SMPN 9 Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment menggunakan dua kelas, dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh, dengan kelas VIII-3dan VIII-4 sebagai sampel. Instrumen meliputi soal tes, lembar observasi dan angket. Sebagai hasil ditemukan bahwa: KBK siswa yang diajarkan dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing nilai posttestnya lebih tinggi daripada yang diajarkan dengan metode konvensional, dengan perbandingan N-gain sebesar 16,76 untuk kelas kontrol dan 17,82 untuk kelas eksperimen. Abstract

This learning model can be developed to be better and can be more useful in biology learning, namely not only in the material of Single Substances and Mixed Substances, but can be applied to other materials that have work activities that can be discussed. The learning outcomes of students taught with the cooperative defense model of the group investigation type increased for each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 55.65, increasing in cycle I to 73.48 and then increasing again in cycle II to 86.08. The classical student completion in the pre-cycle was 8.69%, in cycle I it increased to 47.82% and continued to increase in cycle II to 86.95%. Student activity in learning with the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type increased better for each cycle. Teacher activity during learning with the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type increased in each cycle. The average score of teacher activity in cycle I was 3.94 and was in the good category, increasing in cycle II to 4.5 and was in the very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, berlangsung selama tiga siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III MIN 41 ACEH BESAR, berjumlah 23 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan observasi dan tes tertulis. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) upaya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model PBL melalui langkah-langkah: orientasi siswa pada masalah, mengorganisasi siswa untuk belajar, membimbing penyelidikan individual maupun kelompok, mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil karya, dan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah; (2) model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hal ini tampak pada peningkatan nilai rata- rata ulangan dari kondisi awal 61,08, siklus I 68,15, siklus II meningkat menjadi 80, kemudian siklus III meningkat menjadi 81. Persentase jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM (70) dari kondisi awal sebesar 30,44%, siklus I 69,56%, siklus II menjadi82,61% .

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven a significant transformation in the learning system in higher education. Gadgets, especially smartphones, have become the primary device supporting learning in the digital era. However, the high intensity of gadget use among students has also given rise to a phenomenon of dependency that has the potential to impact the quality of the learning process and outcomes. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of gadget dependency in learning in the digital era among students based on the results of previous research. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data were obtained from various scientific literature sources in the form of national and international journal articles relevant to the topic of gadget dependency and student learning. Data collection techniques were carried out through systematic literature searches, while data analysis used content analysis to identify and synthesize research findings. The results of the study indicate that gadget dependency among students impacts various aspects of learning, including decreased concentration, learning motivation, academic productivity, and the quality of social interactions. In addition, gadget dependency is influenced by low student self-control, less interactive learning designs, and a lack of digital literacy oriented towards the wise use of technology. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed from universities, lecturers, and students to manage gadget use proportionally and productively. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions in the development of more effective and sustainable digital learning in higher education.
