Abstract

Background : Anemia is an unresolved nutritional problem in Indonesia. Data from the Babakan Health Center reported that 19.1% of adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram had anemia, while according to WHO the acceptable threshold was <5%. One of the causes is the lack of knowledge about anemia, low adherence to taking blood booster supplements and there is no media to monitor the intake and adherence. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze "The effect of nutrition education using anti-anemia logbooks on the knowledge and nutritional intake of anemic adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram". Methods : Type of research is an analytical experiment with a quasi-experimental design using a non equivalent and non rendomized control group pretest posttest design. Population: all grade VIII anemia adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram totaling 30 people and a sample of 28 people who were divided into experimental and control groups. Results : In the knowledge variable, there was a significant effect on the group using the logbook and the group without the logbook and the increase was significantly different between the two groups with p = 0.034. In the intake variable, providing education with the Anti Anemia Logbook (Go Mia) had a significant effect on energy and protein consumption with a p value of <0.05, however, the group that did not use the logbook (control group) did not show a significant effect, as did intake. Fe did not show a significant effect in either the experimental group or the control group. Conclusion : Nutrition education using logbook is effective to increase knowledge, energy and protein intake but not effective to increase iron intake.

Abstract

Nutrition less in infants is a health problem around the world especially the countries develop. In Indonesia nutritional problems less in toddlers about 19.6%. Nutritional problems have little effect on the low quality of human resources, especially the impact of toddlers who are malnourished by poor brain development, unoptimal physical growth, and metabolic developments (the Kemenkes RI, 2014). The current state of nutrition especially in children is still ematitiate. Given the impact of the nutrient less widespread, it is necessary to do a handling of PMT in the form of sausages using local food that is effective in increasing the weight of children with less nutritional nutrition.Metodelogi. In this study used experimental research Desan with a complete random draft (RAL) One treatment comparison of cork fish with composite flour 75%: 25% 80%: 20% 85%: 15%. Data processing. Processing of data obtained from observations presented in the form of tables, to find out the nature of organoleptic (aroma, flavor, texture and color) in each addition of the sausage making materials processed and analyzed using a statistical analysis of One Way Anova at a trust level of 95% (A = 0.05). If there is a significant impact, the data is analyzed further using the Tukey test to see which treatment is causing the difference. Research results. The comparison of cork fish and composite flour is significant effect on the taste color of texture and aroma. The PMT of Gasuhiru sausage contains 262KKL and 16.72 gr of protein in 100gr. Gasuhiru sausage receiving 83.3% well received.Conclusion: The most liked sausage is a comparison of 85%: 15%. The administration of PMT provides a significant effect on children's weight loss and is 3 times greater than the Conntrol group.

Abstract

Background. Biscuits are bakery products made by baking dough made from wheat flour or substitution, oil or fat, with or without the addition of other foodstuffs and permissible food additives. Indonesia is a consuming country of big wheat flour. This can be seen from the needs of wheat in Indonesia from year to year increasing, until in 2013 reached 2.6 million metric tons per year or up about 1.08% compared to the year 2012 (Hidayat in Midlanda, 2014). One solution to solve the problem is to utilize the flour from local foodstuff to produce wheat flour. So far, many products in the market are in the form of breastfeeding capsules or milk milk, but biscuits are not available in the market yet. the purpose of this research is to know the properties of Organoleptic and Nutritional Content of Biscuits Biscuits with Various Addition of Fat Katuk Leaf Extract.Research Methods. The method used is experimental method with Completely Randomized Design consisting of 3 treatment levels.Research Result. The result of research conducted is the most preferred biscuit products is t1 with the addition of 5% katuk leaf essence. Bisjaka contains carbohydrates, fats, ash and protein in high category while for the water content of biscuits is low. However, all parameters have met the quality requirements of biscuits according to SNI No.01-2973-93. Consumer panel acceptance test as many as 35 people (67%) can accept and 10 people (33%) can not accept biscuit products. The marketing of biscuit biscuit products is done in Juring Village Neighborhood of Praya District, Central Lombok regency, which buy biscuit biscuits are lactating mothers and children, but many buy biscuit biscuit products are pregnant and lactating mothers.Conclusion. Bisjaka bikuit products replace katuk leaf flour and have an interest in supporting bisjaka color, smell and biscuit flavor with p <0.05.

Abstract

Background. At the age of pre-school children entered the phase of negavistik i.e. children to refuse food offered, as a result of the child will behave deviate. This study to find out the description of the behaviour of pre-school age children eat in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat. Research Methods. Examination is a descriptive observational. This research was conducted in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat by way of free variables and bound variables obtained through observation, measurement, recording and analysis of data. Research Result. Results from the research conducted that could result with the behavior of feeding, nutritional status and consumption pre school aged children. Eating behavior level samples that belonged to good 27 people with persentage 40 .9 good nutrient that is 61 status with persentage 92,4 people and levels of consumption of the protein that has the above protein samples adequacy of as many as 60 people (90.9) and the level of energy consumption samples that have energy above the adequacy of as many as 36 people (54.5). Conclusion. Ari results research conducted that may be known to the behavior of eating and nutritional status of pre school age children in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat central of Lombok

Abstract

Background. Development in Indonesia is basically shown to improve the welfare and security of all Indonesian people. The right of Indonesian citizens to improve their quality of life is the Human Rights (HAM) guaranteed by the Constitution. Giving complementary food for breastmilk that is too early can cause diarrhea so that the weight decreases. One effort to overcome malnutrition is by increasing one's knowledge, attitudes and actions by conducting nutritional counseling. Based on the results of monitoring the nutritional status of West Lombok in 2015, the highest indicator of underweight under-five children in Gunungsari sub-district was 19.80% with the highest BGM cases in the village of Sesela in the Gunungsari Community Health Center as many as 25 children. Research Purposes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutritional counseling on the actions of women in the provision of MP-ASI and underweight children under five 6-24 months in the Sesela Village of the Gunungsari Community Health Center Working Area. Research Methods. This type of research uses quasi experiment design. The independent variables in this study were nutrition counseling and the dependent variable was maternal action and toddler weight. The sample in this study is toddlers aged 6-24 months by means of nonprobility sampling which means that all populations are sampled. This research took place in January to February 2017. Research Result. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Wilconxon test with the results of the value p = 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that there was a significant effect between maternal actions before and after nutritional counseling and the Mann-Whitney Test with p = 0.01 <0.05, it can be concluded that significant between mother's actions towards toddler weight. Conclusion. There is an influence of nutritional counseling on the actions of mothers and toddlers' weight.

Abstract

Background. Food processing products in Indonesia have recently experienced very rapid development. This is due to changes in the lifestyle of people who want to be so fast that food production is also looking for ready-to-eat products but can meet nutritional needs every day. Processed products that are popular with people in Indonesia include: bread, biscuits, noodles, and cookies. Research Methods. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan experiment dengan Rancangan acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor yaitu penambahan tepung komposit umelai (tepung ubi jalar, tepung kacang kedelai dan tepung kacang merah) dengan 5 aras perlakuan yaitu t1 20%, t2 30%, t3 40%, t4 50%, t5 60%. Masing–masing perlakuan akan diulang 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 15 (lima belas) unit percobaan. Research Result. Based on the organoleptic test for the parameters of color, odor, taste and texture of soybean cookies with t2 treatment, the addition of 30% composite composite flour was chosen by the panelists as the best treatment. Umelai cookies selected based on organoleptic test ie t2 with the addition of 30% soybean composite flour have a water content of 10.10%, which means that they have not fulfilled the maximum standard of cookies 5% (SNI 01-2973-1992). Conclusion. The addition of soybean composite flour on each treatment t1, t2, t3, t4 and t5 did not significantly influence the organoleptic properties of soybean cookies based on data analysis using the One Way Anova method.

Abstract

Background. Basic Health Research in 2007 showed the prevalence Behave Properly In Hand Wash in Indonesia is 23.2%. NTB included into the 15 provinces below the national prevalence of only 14.2% of the population NTB that behaves properly in hand washing. In addition, the prevalence of physical activity to in Indonesia, namely 48.2%, and in the prevalence of physical inactivity NTB higher at 48.8%. Riskesdas data in 2013 showed that an increase in food consumption habits on society salty ≥10 years from 24.5% in 2007 increased to 26.2% in 2013. While the prevalence of data about fruit and vegetable consumption in the population aged 10 years up by 93.6% in 2007 and no significant change in 2013. To address the nutrition problems, need to be socialized balanced nutrition guidelines that can be used as guidelines for eating, physical activity, hygiene and maintain a normal weight. Research Methods. This study aims to determine the application of the guidelines in the Village Babakan balanced nutrition. This research was conducted with a descriptive observational research with a sample of 84 people. Data collected in the form of respondents age, education level of respondents and implementation of balanced nutrition guidelines in daily life. Research Result. Respondents who have aged <20 years 1 person, 20-35 years of age 63 and age> 35 years 20. Respondents who were taking education at most that 72.6% of Primary Education, Higher Education and at least 4.8%. The first pillar balanced nutrition applied by 44 of the respondents (52.4%), the second pillar of balanced nutrition applied by 50 of the respondents (59.5%) and no respondents are implementing the third and fourth pillars. 25% of respondents who apply pillars, namely 40 respondents, and applying 50% of respondents pillars 27 and 17 respondents did not apply pillars of balanced nutrition. Conclusion. The higher the educational level the application of the guidelines tend to be more well-balanced nutrition.

Abstract

Background. Coronary Heart Disease is a disease caused by narrowing of the arteries due to atherosclerosis or koroneria spasm or both. Result Health Research (RISKESDAS) in 2013 showed the prevalence of coronary heart disease nation wide reached 1,5%. Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) province is one  of  the  province  where  the  prevalence  of  coronary  heart  disease  is  higher  than  the  national prevalence rate, which at 2,1%.Research Methods. This  is  an  observasional  study.  Population,  all  outpatients  in  hospitals  Kota  Mataram experiencing coronary heart diseasesince the month of January-October 2015 as many as 83 people. Sampel, number of samples is 40, data collected in the form of data sample characteristics include age, gender, level of education, nutritional status, long-suffering CHD, LDL levels and data consumption fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C and Vitamin E samples.Research Result. The results showed the level of fat consumption the most categories in the above categories, namely the needsof 21 people ( 52,5%). Highest level of carbohydrate consumption that the deficit category as many as 36 people ( 90,0%). The level of fiber consumption at no more than the deficit category as many as 34 people (85,0%). The level of consumption of vitamin A in the category of needs as many as 40 people (100,0%). The level of consumption of vitamin C category deficits as many as 25 people (62,5%). The level of consumption of vitamin E most of the above categories, namely needs 19 people (47,5%)Conclusion. The consumption level entry, vitamin E and vitamin A in the category above needs, while the level of consumption of carbohydrates, fiber and vitamin C samples are in the deficit category

Abstract

Background. Based on data Riskesdas 2013 showed that the percentage of breast-feeding only in the last 24 hours decreased with increasing age of the baby with the lowest percentage of children aged 6 months (30.2%). The data show in Mataram city only (65.96%) of all mothers breastfeeding Exclusive breastfeeding apply. Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the Puskesmas Tanjung Karang in 2012, exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the health center Tanjung karang (59.40%) is still below the target of 80% and the expectation is ranked third highest of ten health centers in the region Mataram city. Research Methods. Based on the type, this study is an observational analytic studies and in terms of the time these are cross-sectional study in which all variables were collected in same time. Gross motor development of infants aged 7-12 months were collected first, then ask for a history of exclusive breastfeeding at age 0-6 months. Research Result. From 85 samples based on those age, the average age most babies are 9 months old is as much as 24.8%. Based on those sex most (56.5%) male sex. Exclusive breastfeeding bulk of the sample (64.7%) received exclusive breastfeeding and the development of gross motor bulk of the sample (70.6%) in the normal category. Based on statistical tests showed no significant relationship p = 0.558 for the higher value of α = 0.05, meaning that there is no relationship between the Exclusive Breastfeeding Babies With gross motor development Age 7-12 Months On The area of health center Tanjung  Karang, Mataram City. Conclusion. exclusive breastfeeding has no relationship with gross motor development because apart from exclusive breastfeeding motor development can be caused by several things including the lack of stimulation can also cause irregularities grow and develop even disorders that are settled.
