Abstract

Background. Hypercholesterolemia is a condition of cholesterol levels increased in the blood. Hypercholesterolemia can cause atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis can cause various cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease and stroke.Research Methods. This type of research is using quasi-experimental study with pretest and posttest with control group design. The sample was given 150 g of red dragon fruit pudding every day for 14 days. Data obtained from this study were analyzed using paired test and independent t-test.Research Result. The average total cholesterol level of control group before the research was 290.20 mg / dL while the cholesterol level of intervention group before the research was 290.30 mg / dL. The average total cholesterol level of the control group after intervention was 289.0 mg / dL while the total cholesterol level of the intervention group was 234.20 mg / dL. The reduction in the total cholesterol level of the intervention group was 56.10 mg / dL.Conclusion. Red dragon fruit pudding affects the decrease of total cholesterol levels.

Abstract

Stunting prevalence (5-12 years) is 34.4% which is the highest number in the NTB region compared to 10 other regencies / cities (NTB Province average of 14.9%) (Riskesdas, 2013). Fish Kelor Opak (OKI) is one of the traditional foods that can be strived to reduce Stunting (very short) in nutrient-prone groups in North Lombok Regency. In the three years of Health Intervention Research, problems still arise that quite disturb the sustainability of OKI consumption. There are not yet many traditional Opak craftsmen who produce Fish Kelor Opac (OKI) because of the ability of the craftsmen to provide raw materials and need modification of the materials, so that people like it. The purpose of this study was to modify Fish Moringa Opaque and its effects on stunting children. Descriptive observational method with emphasis on making Moringa Fish Opaque with different fish ingredients. The best products are given to children stunting. The results showed that modified Fish Opaque Moringa was made which had better taste, shape and texture than before. There is a difference in BB in children with stunting + OKI (P1) before and intervention is 2.07 kg, compared to P0 of 0.56 kg and There is a difference in TB in children with stunting + OKI (P1) before and after the intervention of 0.54 cm compared to P0 of 0.4 cm.

Abstract

Background. Health problems in Indonesia and developing countries in general are still dominated by 4 nutritional problems, namely lack of protein energy (KEP), iron anemia problems, problems due to iodine deficiency (IDD), problems with vitamin A deficiency (KVA) and obesity problems especially in big cities. Because food intake is one of the factors that influence a child's nutritional status, it should be noted that the intake of children's needs is appropriate or not, because this is what the child needs to support optimal brain development and body growth. Among them are energy and protein intake. Based on PPG 2018 data The number of toddlers in Sisik Village is as many as 565 toddlers, taken by a sample of 54 toddlers. Of the 54 toddlers, the average level of caregiver education, that is, most of their education levels were low, as many as 40 people (74.1. While the energy intake of under-fives was as large as a severe deficit of 21 people (38.9%). of 54 toddlers in Sisik village, most of the protein intake was above adequacy, as many as 39 under-fives (72.2%). Research Methods. The research design used was descriptive observational study with a sample of 54 people. Data was collected by direct interview using a questionnaire tool. Data is processed descriptively. Research Result. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average level of caregiver education in the low category was 41 people (75.9%), the knowledge of caregivers was mostly in the good category as many as 24 people (44.4%), toddler energy intake as much as 21 people in severe deficits ( 38.9%) and protein intake of toddlers mostly above the adequacy of 39 people (72.2%). Conclusion. The conclusion of this study is that caregiver knowledge does not affect the energy and protein intake of toddlers. The good level of knowledge of caregivers does not make toddlers' energy and protein intake good.

Abstract

Background. At the age of pre-school children entered the phase of negavistik i.e. children to refuse food offered, as a result of the child will behave deviate. This study to find out the description of the behaviour of pre-school age children eat in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat. Research Methods. Examination is a descriptive observational. This research was conducted in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat by way of free variables and bound variables obtained through observation, measurement, recording and analysis of data. Research Result. Results from the research conducted that could result with the behavior of feeding, nutritional status and consumption pre school aged children. Eating behavior level samples that belonged to good 27 people with persentage 40 .9 good nutrient that is 61 status with persentage 92,4 people and levels of consumption of the protein that has the above protein samples adequacy of as many as 60 people (90.9) and the level of energy consumption samples that have energy above the adequacy of as many as 36 people (54.5). Conclusion. Ari results research conducted that may be known to the behavior of eating and nutritional status of pre school age children in the village of Mangkung sub-district of Praya Barat central of Lombok

Abstract

Background. Abon is a dry food products with a crunchy textured and have a relatively long shelf life. Dregs tofu is the manufacture of solid waste out. Research Ridayanti, et al (2006) regarding the manufacture of shredded dregs tofu with dregs tofu formula of 50% and 50% addition of young jackfruit give organoleptic properties are preferred. Required the addition of a food that is rich in nutrients, easy to obtain, and have a low economic value of the chosen addition of tilapia fish. Research Wulandari (2007) is the substitution swordfish with tilapia fish in the manufacture of shredded much as 50% give organoleptic properties that are preferred by the panelists. Objective. To identify effect of adding Tilapia fish meat toward organoleptic properties (taste, smell, color, texture) of shredded dregs tofu tilapia fish. Research Methods. an experimental study design with a completely randomized design (CRD) one additional factor tilapia fish meat 10%, 30%, 50%, 70% and 90%. Treatment was repeated 3 times. The parameters observed organoleptic properties (color, smell, taste and texture). Data were analyzed using ANOVA. Research Result: Treatment t4 (70%) are most preferred in terms of color and taste, treatment t5 (90%) are most preferred in terms of smell, and treatment t2 (30%) are most preferred in terms of the texture of Abon ATM. Color obtain scores of panelists from 3.72 to 3.76, scores of smell 3.56 to 3.84, scores of taste from 3.42 to 3.72, and scores of texture from 3.64 to 3.96. The addition of tilapia fish meat no significant effect on the color, smell, and texture of Abon ATM (p>0,05) and significant effect on the taste of Abon ATM (p<0,05).  Conclusions: The addition of tilapia fish meat significant effect on the taste of Abon ATM (p<0,05). The addition of Tilapia Fish meat 70% (t4) that is recommended.

Abstract

Background. Consumption of vegetables and fruit body needs for vitamins, minerals and fiber in achieving a healthy diet as recommended by guidelines of balanced nutrition for optimal health. Most vitamins and minerals found in fruits and vegetables has a function as an antioxidant that may reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases related to nutrition, as a result of the excess or deficiency. Large portions often becomes very important when serving food, especially in the food pemortion advantages and disadvantages still occur because no portion of the right size in pemortion food. Pemortion these foods should be according to the standard portion that has been set by the installation of a hospital nutrition. Huge portions, will directly influence the nutrients contained in a food. Purpose Knowing picture vegetable pemortion accuracy of the standards usual food servings at lunch in Tabanan Hospital. Research Methods. This research is an observational study. The study was conducted on 22 to 30 March 2019 in BRSUD Tabanan. The data were taken using accidental sampling method. Samples taken care third grade. Research Result. Large servings of vegetables at lunch for ordinary food in hospitals Tabanan as follows: vegetable tamarind 160.7 grams, vegetable nodes 175 grams, vegetable ointment 170.4 grams, vegetable bobor 131.8 grams, vegetables, tamarind 177 grams, vegetable soup 104.5 grams, vegetable lodeh 102.6 grams and 71.4 grams of vegetable ointment. Power pemortion obtained are four power pemortion with vocational education and universities. Conclusion. Great accuracy servings of vegetables served by 4 workers pemortion average is not appropriate because more than a standard portion

Abstract

This Study to identify the relationship with the mother's knowledge level of calcium intake and nutritional status of SDN 2 Ampenan District of Sekarbela. The National Food Widya Karya X (WKNPG X) 2012 has been issued AKG 2012, which makromineral adequacy of calcium of 1000 mg per day for children aged 7-9 years, and 1200 mg for children aged 10-12 years. Average consumption of calcium per day by 30% of Indonesia's population, or 300 mg per day, under the instigation WKNPG 2012 that recommended. Calcium needs can be met through a variety of foods, such as meat, fish, milk, vegetables, and fruit. The study design uses observational study, based on the terms of the time of this study using cross-sectional approach,  the objective of this study was the students of SDN 2 Ampenan aged 7-9 years and 10-15 years and ibu-ibu of students of SDN 2 Ampenan. Samples were obtained as many as 38 people, which will be measured weight and height, then 2x24 hour recall interviews were conducted, but it is also done interviews and FFQ questionnaires to the respondents. To determine which variables are examined using analysis with SPSS 16.0 for Windows with Spearman Rank test with a significance level of 0.05. the result shows of the 38 samples studied most (97.36%) aged 10-15 years, and the remainder (2.6%) aged 7-9 years, the nutritional status of a sample of normal category 76.32%, and 100% levels of calcium intake deficits, as well as the level of knowledge of respondents 76.32% lower.  Then, the conclusion is there is no relationship with the level of knowledge of the nutritional status, there was no association between calcium intake and nutritional status, and there is a correlation between the level of knowledge with calcium intake.

Abstract

Background: Based on the results of basic health research (RISKESDAS) in 2013, in NTB in the age group 10 years and over, having a risky dietary consumption behavior is by consuming sweet foods 32.3%, salty 10.9%, fatty 26.1 %, burned 5.6%, animal preserved 4.4%, flavored 84.8%, coffee 37.5%, caffeine besides coffee 4.3% of their daily needs. Based on data from preliminary studies at SDN 2 Kuta, getting from 43 children as many as 41 children the knowledge of snack foods is in the less category, namely 95.3% and only 2 children from 43 children who have knowledge of snack foods are in the sufficient category of 4.7 %.Objective: To find out the influence of snack food counseling with the method of snake and ladder games on the knowledge of school children in class V students.Method: Using a quasy experimental non equivalent control group, with a sample of 22 people. Collecting knowledge data obtained from questionnaires, data is processed descriptively. Analysis using the independent T-test and paired t-test.Results: The results of this study indicate that street food counseling using the snake ladder method has a significant influence on the knowledge of school children (p value = <0.005)Conclusion: Extension of snack foods using the snake ladder method has an influence on the knowledge of school children at SDN 2 Kuta Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

Background. One problem that is often encountered in pregnancy which is one of the factors in the high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is anemia. Based on data from the Mataram City Health Office, it is known that the prevalence of anemic pregnant women has increased in September 2016 the prevalence of anemic pregnant women is 6.11%. Pejeruk Health Center which shows the highest prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the city of Mataram by 27.08%. Research Methods. The research design used was Quasi Experimental with research design, namely Non Equivalent Control Group (Pretest and Posttest) with a study sample of 21 pregnant women who had anemia in the second trimester. How to take samples in this study by using Total Samples. The data analysis used was the Independent T-test to see the differences from the 2 groups, and to see the effect of nutritional counseling on knowledge and consumption using a statistical test in the form of a Paired T-Test with (p = <0.05). Research Result. The results showed that there was an effect of providing nutritional counseling on increasing knowledge and consumption of nutrients, namely Energy and Protein p = <0.005) and there was no effect of increasing iron (Fe) consumption (p => 0.005) Conclusion. The influence of giving nutritional counseling on increasing the knowledge and consumption of nutrients for anemia pregnant women in the pujeruk health center area

Abstract

Background. Maternal dietary consumption patterns include the frequency, type and the amount of food consumed by pregnant women. Based on research Rahmaniar (2011) maternal food consumption patterns associated with the incidence of chronic energy deficiency. The Basic Health Research 2010 shows pregnant women who consume energy and protein below the minimum of national requirements, respectively 44.8% and 49.5%. Objective. The aim of this study is to describe the pattern of food consumption in pregnant women who experience chronic energy deficiency in Puskesmas Cakranegara Mataram City 2015.  The design of the study conducted by descriptive observational and total sample are 26 pregnant women who suffered chronic energy deficiency. Research Methods. Data were collected include the characteristic of the sample in which most of the samples have a lifespan in the range of 20-35 years, with a junior high school education level and the age of pregnancy is in the second trimester. Research Result. Maternal dietary consumption patterns show that the type of food source of energy and a common builder are consumed by pregnant women who suffered chronic energy deficiency is rice, bread, dried noodles, biscuits, chicken, pindang, eggs, tofu and tempeh. As for the food source of energy and protein are often consumed is rice, biscuits, pindang, eggs, chicken and tempeh. The level of energy, protein, fat and carbohydrate consumption of chronic energy feficiency pregnant women are mostly located in the deficit category. Conclusion. The pattern of food consumption of pregnant women who suffered chronic energy deficiency which often consume are rice, biscuits, pindang, eggs and tempeh as well as the level of energy and macro nutrients consumption that are in deficit category.
