Abstract

Background, ERAS has been widely demonstrated as an effective method for controlling postoperative pain, nausea, and vomiting. Pain management that cuts the dose of opioids by 50%, involves administering intravenous fluids, and using a combination of antiemetic drugs may have a better outcome. objective. This study aims to determine the incidence of PONV after the ERAS procedure in cesarean section patients with Subarachnoid Block (SAB) anesthesia. Method, This research is quantitative research with a descriptive design. This study was conducted from March to April 2022, involving 60 post-cesarean section patients with SAB and ERAS. Univariate analysis that presents the frequency distribution of PONV events was applied to answer the research objectives. Results, Most of the participants were between 30 and 35 years old (29; 48.3%), classified into the healthy weight group (33; 55%), and identified with a Bromage score of 1 (60; 100%). The majority of participants amounting to Fifty participants (83.3%) did not experience episodes of nausea and vomiting after the procedure. Only seven (11.7%) and three (5%) participants reported mild and moderate nausea and vomiting after the process, respectively. Conclusion, the ERAS method is an adequate technique presented in cesarean section procedures. The findings confirm its effectiveness in reducing the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting. Thus, proposing ERAS as an effective and promising protocol for cesarean section procedures.

Abstract

Background: Anaesthesia represents the important shares in surgery action. Anesthesia consisted of by some types, wrong of anesthesia inhalation which in this time have a lot of wore. Its drug all kinds of, worn at this research is sevoflurane. To take care of the security and patient safety, during gift of anesthesia of patient circumstance need in monitoring. The matter which needs in monitoring changes hemodynamic one of them is that is a change of frequency Nadi. Hence from that this research aims to know the gift effect medicine the anesthesia sevoflurane to frequency Nadi. Method: This Research represents analytic of observational use the approach of cross-sectional. Sample taken by purposive is the sampling of a patient using anesthesia of inhalation sevoflurane after sample fulfills the criterion of inclusion and ekklesia. At this research take 25 subjects and analyzed to use the independent test. Result of research: From research data, got by the result of value p of an independent unit, assess the p of at phase of frequency Nadi of early, phase induce and phase intubasi is 0,04; 0,00; 0,02, for the phase of insisting of at minute 5, minute of 10 and minute 5 is 0,02; 0,0; 0,03. This result indicates that the value p < 0,05 were the result significant or there are difference having a meaning of statistically. Conclude the research: anesthesia of Inhalasi sevoflurane give the influence to change of frequency Nadi and good and also stabilize the frequency Nadi in its use during surgery.

Abstract

Background: Electrocardiography (ECG) records the electrical activity of the atria and ventricles and forms characteristic ECG waves. It is essential for diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. Bali Province has a high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases (1.3% or approximately 16,481 people), which requires all health workers, especially anesthetists, to not only perform ECG installation but also interpret the results accurately. This study aimed to determine the knowledge of level 3 Anesthesiology Nursing students at ITEKES Bali regarding ECG interpretation. Methods: This research uses quantitative research with this was a descriptive quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The output of this research can be used as a source of information or evaluation material for teachers and students regarding the importance of interpreting ECGs. Results: The results of this study show that most students (90.0%) had good knowledge of ECG interpretation, while 10.0% had sufficient knowledge. Conclusion: The knowledge possessed by ITEKES Bali level 3 Anesthesiology Nursing students regarding ECG interpretation was good and sufficient.

Abstract

Introduction: Perianesthesia nurses are health professionals with specific abilities to care, treat, assist and protect patients after undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. They work closely with anesthesiologists to manage and monitor patients before, during and after anaesthetic procedures. The conditions in this practice area have a confusing role in providing anesthetic management care to patients who are unable to help themselves in anesthesia, especially in perianesthesia. Therefore, it is very important to research the role of the anesthesiologist as a care provider for perianesthesia in the operating room. Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the role of anaesthetists as care providers for perianesthesia in the operating room. Methods: This is a descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative approach. This research consists of two stages; data collection in the first stage was carried out through in-depth interviews with anaesthetists working in the Wangaya General Hospital Denpasar operating room. In the second stage, we triangulated the data from anesthesiologists as decision-makers or doctors in charge of administering anesthesia to patients to ensure that the obtained data is consistent, convergent and valid. Qualitative data analysis is inductive; analysis is based on the obtained data, and then the data is searched repeatedly with triangulation techniques; the writing is done through narrative methods. Results: This study showed that anaesthetists at Wangaya Hospital with an educational background of Diploma III and Diploma IV Anaesthesia Nursing, and Diploma III Nursing with anaesthesiology training with Specialty Registrars, administer anaesthesia or become the care provider in pre-anaesthesia, intra-anaesthesia and post-anaesthesia based on scientific, and professional standards of anesthesiology. Conclusion : The anaesthetists can become care providers for perianesthesia in the operating room, which can be used as the first step by other researchers for further research on the effect of anaesthetic care in anaesthesia patient safety.
