Abstract

This study aims to determine the appropriate use of learning media in the form of media for the use of sub-materials for the use of Indonesian biodiversity for class X, plant-based high schools. The research method used is descriptive. The research was conducted in 2 stages, namely plant inventory and media feasibility test. Inventory of medicinal plants in the village of Selat Remis was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the plant inventory in Selat Remis Village found 77 species of plants used by the community as used according to needs carried out in three stages of media creation, media validation, and data analysis. The magazine media was validated by two Biology education lecturers and three high school teachers who were determined using purposive sampling, namely, State Senior High School 1 Teluk Pakedai, State High School one Rasau Jaya, and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kubu Raya. The validation assessment uses a Likert scale and data analysis based on the Lawhse formula (1975) by five validators and obtains a Content Validity Index (CVI) result of 1.00 so that the contents of the magazine media on the sub-material of the use of Indonesian biodiversity for class X Senior high school are said to be valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

This study was structured with the aim of knowing the feasibility of student learning media at SMPN 16 Pontianak, SMPN 11 Pontianak, and SMPN 6 Pontianak on ecosystem materials, knowing the process of developing media. e-book based on 3D Pageflip Pro, and knowing the validity and reliability of the developed learning media. The research method used is Research and Development with a model Four-D. In this research, it is reduced to a development model Three-D includes stages define (definition), design (design), and develop (development) to step expert appraisal (expert judgment). The data sources for this study were 60 seventh-grade students from SMPN 16 Pontianak, SMPN 11 Pontianak, and SMPN 6 Pontianak, as well as 3 biology science teachers from each of these schools and 2 lecturers of Biology Education FKIP Untan. The result of the validity of the 3D Pageflip Pro-based ebook media is v 0.80 valid category. The results of inter-rater reliability using the ICC get results from 0.5 to 0.851 in the good category. 3D Pageflip Pro-based e-book media that has met the good criteria and deserves to be declared for use

Abstract

Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) mencatat bahwa literasi sains peserta didik di Indonesia masih belum mencapai tingkat yang memadai. Padahal, literasi sains merupakan kemampuan penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh setiap individu dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, serta arus informasi yang semakin kompleks. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejauh mana literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya serta faktor-faktor yang turut mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 229 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas soal literasi sains berdasarkan indikator PISA dan angket faktor yang mempengaruhi, yang telah divalidasi oleh tujuh orang ahli. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya yaitu kompetensi menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah sebesar 56,16%, merancang dan mengevaluasi penyelidikan ilmiah sebesar 56,68%, serta menafsirkan data dan bukti ilmiah sebesar 67,60%. Rata-rata keseluruhan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya memperoleh persentase 60% dengan kategori cukup. Faktor internal dari peserta didik mencapai 71,77%, sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi peran guru 73,43% dan dukungan sekolah 79,26%. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik agar mencapai kategori yang lebih tinggi.
