Abstract

Menurut Undang-undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1990 tentang konservasi Sumber Daya Alam dan Ekosistemnya serta Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 7/1999 tentang Pengawetan Jenis Tumbuhan dan Satwa Liar, Nepenthes termasuk tumbuhan yang dilindungi. Habitat alami dari Nepenthes reinwardtiana Miq. Di Paninjauan Kabupaten Solok setiap tahunnya semakin terancam, baik oleh pembalakan liar, kebakaran hutan maupun konversi lahan hutan. Upaya penyelamatan dari ancaman kepunahan dapat dilakukan konservasi secara in-situ maupun ex-situ. Agar hal tersebut dapat terlaksana, terlebih dahulu perlu dilakukan studi ekologi pada habitat Nepenthes. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi tumbuhan  yang ditemui di sekitar habitat N.reinwardtiana adalah terdiri dari 15 famili , 19 jenis dan 2921 individu. Komposisi tumbuhannya berupa paku-pakuan 46,66%; perdu 47,96%; teki  4,76%; dan anakan pohon 0,61%. Struktur tumbuhannya terdiri dari  Gleichenia linearis dengan Nilai Penting (NP) yang tertinggi (42,70%), diikuti oleh Lycopodium cernuum (NP = 24,33%); Ploiarium alternifolium (NP = 21,92%); Melastoma malabatricum (NP= 20,98%) dan Adinandra dumosa  (NP = 20,95%). Suhu udara maximum sebesar 31,0°C, kelembaban udara berkisar 58%-60%, pH tanah sebesar 5,1 yaitu bersifat asam dan kadar unsur Nitrogennya sebesar 0,098.  Pola Penyebaran N. reinwardtiana adalah menggelompok dengan Indeks Morista (Is) adalah 1,2.   Kata kunci : studi ekologi , habitat, Nepenthes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis anggrek yang terdapat di Hutan Adat Kantuk, Desa Paoh Benua, Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. Metoda yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan metode jelajah secara zig-zag. Wawancara dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan tumbuhan anggrek oleh masyarakat lokal. Ada 17 spesies anggrek yang ditemukan di Hutan Adat Kantuk, Sintang, Kalimantan Barat yakni Anoectochilus albolinaetus, Bromheadia finlaysoniana, Bromheadia sp., Malaxis latifolia, Bulbophyllum auratum, Bulbophyllum beccarii, Bulbophyllum macranthum, Bulbophyllum macrochilum, Bulbophyllum refractilingue, Bulbophyllum vaginatum, Cordiglottis filiformis, Dendrobium leonis, Dendrobium secundum, Eria leiophylla, Oberonia ciliolate, Thecopus secunda dan Trixspermum centipede. Anggrek yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah Anoectochilus albolinaetus dan Bulbophyllum refractilingue. Jenis anggrek yang biasa dijadikan sebagai obat-obatan masyarakat lokal adalah Anoectochilus albolinaetus yang digunakan untuk menyembuhkan penyakit tulang, dan Bulbophyllum beccarii yang digunakan untuk obat setelah proses persalinan. Keberadaan anggrek ini perlu dilindungi mengingat sebagian hutan telah beralih fungsi menjadi hutan sawit.Kata kunci: Inventarisasi Anggrek, Hutan Adat kantuk

Abstract

One of the traditional utilization forms using diverse plants was a self-care ritual, which was anciently previously found in the tradition performed by women in the Qadriyah Palace of Pontianak Sultanate. The self-care ritual was aimed to treat either health-related problems or common diseases. Therefore, this ethnobotany study of the women self-care ritual was purposely implemented through a folding poster media in the tenth-grade sub-material of Senior High Schools, regarding the utilization of biodiversity in the field of cosmetics and medicines. The learning activity was collaboratively carried out with the teachers, so that students can recognize and preserve the varieties of beneficial plants in their environmental surroundings. The class selected as the subject of this study was class of X IPA 2. The collaborative learning process took place in two meetings; beginning with plan 1, performance 1, reflection 1; and plan 2, performance 2, and reflection 2 simultaneously in each meeting, with a duration of 90 minutes. The first cycle successfully implemented the ethnobotanic self-care-based folding poster media, previously performed by women in the Qadriyah Palace of Pontianak Sultanate’s environment, which had previously been validated by lecturers and teachers and was declared fit for use. Meanwhile, in the cycle 2, the media used was a flipbook. The results showed that collaborative learning using ethnobotany-based media can promote an environmental caring attitude amongst the tenth-grade students of SMAN 10 Pontianak.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to measure the feasibility of smart card media on the sub-material Indonesian Biodiversity Utilization Class X on the benefits of medicinal plants by community in Seberkat village.. This study was conducted in a form of qualitative research using the descriptive method. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. Based on the analysis of the syllabus, the results of the research were implemented into smart card media. The smart card was tested by five validatory  using the Likert scale and was analyzed using the Lawshe method (1975). Two lecturers of the Biology Education Study Program of FKIP UNTAN and three Biology teachers from SMAN 1 Tebas, SMAN 2 Tebas, and SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak participated in testing the media feasibility. The smart card media obtained Content Validity Index (CVI) scores by 0,96 from five validatory with a valid category and is suitable to use on the sub-material Indonesian Biodiversity Utilization, yet still needs to be tested into the classroom. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the influence of lesson model Teams Games Turnament (TGT) by using Leaflet on the lesson Monera for grade X in SMAN 1 Sungai Pinyuh. The research method was Quasi Experimental Design with research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Technique of data collecting used was intact group whether grade X MIA 3 as the experiment class and grade X MIA 2 as control class. The instrument was 25 numbers of multiple choice test. Based on the data analysis, it has been gained the average of students’ study result which have been taught by using Teams Games Turnament (TGT) using Leaflet was 20,39, meanwhile the students’ which have been taught by using conventional learning was 17,78. From the U Mann Whitney test, it has been gain  Zhitung < Ztabel was -2,75 < -1,96 which meant there was significant differences between students’ study result which have been taught by using Teams Games Turnament (TGT) using Leaflet and students’ which have been taught by using conventional learning. The effect size number that has been gained was 0,69 and has been categorized as moderate and given influences 25,49%.Keywords: influence, model Team Games Turnament (TGT) using Leaflet, Monera lesson

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran berupa buku saku sebagai implementasi dari penelitian inventarisasi tumbuhan obat dan mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Mandor beserta cara pengolahannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 83 jenis tumbuhan obat dengan cara pengolahannya yang beragam seperti direbus, ditumbuk, diseduh, diparut, diperas, dibakar, dan tanpa pengolahan. Media buku saku diuji kelayakannya oleh lima validator dan validasi buku saku dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi yakni 3,6. Kata kunci: buku saku, inventarisasi, tumbuhan obat Abstract: This study aims were to make learning media in the form of a pocket book as implementation of inventory medicinal plants research and to know the type and way of processing medicinal plants utilized by Mandor district community. It was a qualitative research with descriptive method and triangulation of data collection techniques. From the results, it obtained 83 species of medicinal plants with various ways of processing such as boiled, ground, brewed, grated, squeezed, burned, and without treatment. Media pocket book was tested for feasibility by five validator and validation of pocket book was valid with the total average of validation was 3.6. Keywords: Pocket Book, Inventory, Medicinal Plants

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the effect of interactive learning media based on adobe flash of student learning outcomes on ecosystem material in class X SMA Negeri 1 Siantan. The form of this research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent control group design. The study sample was class X MIA 1 (experimental class) and class X MIA 2 (control class). The sampling technique was used  saturated sampling. The instrument used was multiple choice test consist of 20 items.The average learning outcomes of eksperimental class which the conclusion was 16,38 while the average in control class was 14,08. Based on Mann-Whitney U test results, obtained Zhitung (-4.04) <-Ztabel (-1.96), that was a significant difference between learning outcomes of studebts who taught by  interactive learning media based on adobe flash adobe and student who taught by power point media.Value effect size obtained by 0.99 with high category, it shows that learning by interactive learning media based on adobe flash adobe gives effect of 33.89%. Keywords: Adobe Flash, Learning Outcomes, Ecosystem Material.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat baca siswa kelas VIII SMP Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 119 siswa yang terdiri dari 42 siswa kelas VIII A, 37 siswa kelas VIII B, dan 40 siswa kelas VIII C. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dan wacana yang disertai dengan enam butir soal. Analisis angket menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki minat baca dalam kategori kuat dengan rata-rata sebesar 65,75%. Siswa memiliki pemahaman yang rendah dalam menjawab soal wacana dampak kebakaran hutan terhadap fotosintesis yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 33,77. Kata kunci: deskripsi, minat baca siswa, fotosintesis. Abstract: This study aims to find out the reading interest of class VIII students of Junior High School (SMP) Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive in the form of survey. The subjects in this research were 119 students consisting of 42 students of class A, 37 students of class B, and 40 students of class C. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire and a passage with six question items. Likert scale was used to analyze the questionnaire. The analysis of the questionnaire indicated that students had a high reading interest with an average of 65.75%. Students had a low comprehension in answering the questions of the passage on the impact of forest fires on photosynthesis that is with an average score of 33.77. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of comic media on student learningoutcome in material environmental pollution in grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Air Besar Kabupaten Landak. The method of this research is Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consists of two classes namely grade VIIA as class experiment and grade VIIB  as grade control. The sampling technique is intact group. The sampling technique is intact group. Instruments used in this research is 20 items of multiple choice test. The average student learning outcomes are taught using the medium comic is 16.17  higher compared to the average student learning outcomes are taught using the media charta is 14.33. After doing analysis with U Mann-Whitney test, it is resulted that Zcount < Ztabel (-3.80 < -1.96) thus it can be concluded that is significance between the average score of students which were taught by using comic media an charta. Based on the calculation of effect size of 1.20 means the effectiveness of learning by using comic media on environmental pollution material is high and can improve student learning outcomes by 38.49%.Keywords: Effectiveness, Comic Media, Learning Achievement, Environmental Pollution

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model Team Games Tournament (TGT) toward students learning outcomes on blood circulation system in class VIII SMP Koperasi Pontianak. The research was quasi experimental design. The research done in class VIII A and VIII B year 2010/2011 with 42 students VIII A and 40 students VIII B, class VIII A as experiment and VIII B as control. The research divided into two sessions. Instruments form was 20 item multiple choice. The result of the research shown the average post-test score of experiment class was 13,25 and control class was 11,74. Mann Whitney test result with significant ?=5% obtain Zscore< Ztable -3,56< 1,96. It can conclude that was a learning outcomes difference between students teach use cooperative learning model TGT and student teach use conventional learning model on blood circulation system in class VIII SMP Koperasi Pontianak. Keywords: Effectiveness, TGT Learning Model, Learning Outcomes, Blood Circulation System
