Abstract

The development of technology in the material sector is currently very fast, it can be seen from the many uses of metal materials, especially in the mass production industry with certain specifications, such as stainless steel, high carbon steel, and tool steel. Home industries such as the manufacture of rings, pans, bottle caps, stove components and others often use these materials as materials to make tools called press tools. In this press tool, high carbon steel or tool steel is mostly used as a punch, but as the cost and difficulty of these materials make home industries suffer big losses for the manufacture of production tools. For this reason, through this study the authors conducted experiments in the laboratory on recycle leaf spring materials. The experiment was carried out in four stages of testing, namely composition test, tensile test, hardness test, and microstructure test. The composition of elements of the recycle leaf spring are 0.6627% Carbon (C), 0.7304% Manganese (Mn), 0.0240% Sulfur (S), 0.0257% Phosphorus (P). The tensile strength of recycle leaf springs is 1332.5 kg/mm2. The hardness is carried out with the Rockwell C hardness test, the result of the test is 52.5 HRC. There are elements of martensitic and austenite in the microstructure test. The results of the laboratory experiments were compared with the data in the literature, so this recycle leaf spring material could be used as a substitute for cutting blades in press tools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze: The effect of destination quality on tourist engagement, the effect of destination quality on tourist loyalty, the effect of tourist engagement on tourist loyalty and the effect of destination quality on tourist loyalty mediated with tourist engagement. The data analysis method uses a structural equation model. The research sample is tourists who have visited natural tourist destinations in South Sumatra totaling 320 respondents.  The results of this study prove that the destination quality affects tourist engagement.  Destination quality affects tourist loyalty.  Tourist engagement affect tourist loyalty.  Tourist engagement mediates the effect of destination quality on tourist loyalty. The implication of this finding explains that tourist engagement driven by destination quality will be able to increase tourist loyalty.

Abstract

DLP (Digital Light Process) 3D Printer Technology is a 3 dimensional printing machine made from resin with a lighting system using a light projector with a layer-by-layer printing process. In this research, the writer will make an object, which is one of the machining components, namely the gearbox casing. In this study the authors will analyze the effect of process parameters (exposure time, off time, and their interaction) on the dimensions of the printout and get the most optimal parameters to be applied to components or printing objects. In conducting testing, the measurement of the tester’s dimensions uses the Krisbow KW06-422 calipers. Then the measurement data is processed by the Anova method with the help of software design expert version 10. After the research process obtained the results that the most influential parameters are the interaction factor between exposure time parameters and off time parameters on the dimensions of the printed objects, and the most optimal combination of parameters is found in the exposure time parameters 10 second and off time 1 second with a level of precision of 95%.
