Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this article is to find out the differences in learning outcomes of students who use the sociodrama method and how big is the increase in Mahārah al-Kalām to students who apply the sociodrama method in Arabic learning that has some maharah as their basic competencies. This is an experimental study, where the research subjects are students of Madrasah Aliyah or Islamic high school. Two homogeneous groups were taken as samples; Class XI Religion 1 as an experimental class and Class XI Religion II as a control group. This research uses Randomized Pretest- Posttest Control Group Design as its research design. The results in this article are based on the results of statistical analysis which shows that the T- Posttest between the control and experimental groups shows that the value of T-count = -4.503 <T-table = 2.037 (Ha is accepted) which means that there are significant differences of the learning outcomes between the control group and the experimental group. Whereas the T-test of pretest and posttest of the experimental group resulted in a calculated T-value = 13,348 <T-table = 2,035 (Ha is accepted), which means that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental group. Keywords: Strategy, Sociodrama, Maharah Al-Kalām Abstrak Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode sosiodrama dan seberapa besar peningkatan Mahārah al-Kalām pada siswa yang menerapkan metode sosiodrama dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang mempunyai beberapa maharah sebagai kompetensi dasarnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimana subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa Madrasah Aliyah. Dari populasi di sekolah yang diteliti diambil dua kelompok homogen sebagai sampelnya, yaitu kelas XI Agama 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI Agama II sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan Randomized Pretest- Posttest Control Group Design sebagai desain penelitiannya. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini didasarkan pada hasil analisis statistik yang menunjukkan bahwa uji T- Posttest antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen didapatkan nilai T-hitung = -4,503 < T-tabel = 2,037 (Ha diterima) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen. Sedangkan uji-T nilai pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen menghasilkan nilai T-hitung = 13,348 < T-tabel = 2,035 (Ha diterima), yang artinya terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen. Abstract

Madrasah diniyah is acknowledged as the oldest educational institution that pioneered character education in Indonesia. Therefore, should there is a policy in relation to the dissolution of madrasah diniyah, public responses are emerging to reject the policy. This study reveals two pivotal roles of madrasah diniyah in relation to character education. First, the contribution of madrasah diniyah to the character education program in Central Java. Second, the contribution index of madrasah diniyah to the character education program in Central Java. This is a descriptive quantitative research. The data obtained through questionnaires by using random sampling technique and interviews. Index contribution is measured through an average score of the respondent’s answer. The contribution index is divided into five categories, namely, extreme high, high, medium, low, and extreme low. This research found out that madrasah diniyah, in general, contributes significantly to the majority of all the character education. It highlights, however, medium contribution in terms of honest character and low contribution with regards to character of fond.

Abstract

The minimal use of models and methods in mufradāt learning is the background of this research. Researchers try to apply domikara game-based learning (Domino Arabic) as an innovation in learning methods. This study aims to determine the learning process of mufradāt using domikara games (Domino Arabic Vocabulary) and whether there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after applying this learning method mufradāt mastery. This research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group model design, which involved class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The data was collected using tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. This study indicates that the domikara game-based cooperative learning in class VIII A begins with the teacher giving mufradāt, then the teacher reads, and the students imitate it. The teacher removes the mufradāt and continues with the application of domikara games (domino games) in Arabic vocabulary. Based on the post-test score data, the two groups experienced an increase in mufradāt mastery. The average score of the experimental class students, namely 61,764, increased by 91,911, while the average score of the control class began to get 60,588, which increased to 82,647. Be observed the two groups' post-test scores above; it can be seen that the experimental class and the control class both experienced a significant increase. Abstrak: Kurangnya pemanfaatan model dan metode dalam pembelajaran mufradāt melatarbelakangi lahir penelitian ini. Peneliti mencoba menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab) sebagai sebuah inovasi pemanfaatan metode belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran mufradāt dengan menggunakan permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab), dan adakah perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode pembelajaran ini terhadap penguasaan mufradāt. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan model pretest posttest control grup design. Yang melibatkan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis permainan domikara di kelas VIII A dimulai dengan guru memberikan mufradāt, kemudian guru membaca dan siswa menirukan, lalu guru menghapus mufradāt tersebut dan dilanjutkan dengan penerapan permainan domikara (domino kosakata bahasa Arab). Berdasarkan data nilai posttest, kedua kelompok sama-sama mengalami peningkatan dalam penguasaan mufradāt. Melihat rata-rata nilai siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 61,764 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 91,911 sedangkan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol bermula memperoleh 60,588 mengalami kenaikan menjadi 82,647. Dilihat dari nilai posttest kedua kelompok di atas, dapat diketahui bahwa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sama-sama mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan.
