Abstract

The main component of Arabic learning covers the same four language skills for all competencies. They are: listening (istimâ’), speaking (kalâm), reading (qirâ’ah), and writing (kitâbah). Those four skills mutually connected. For instance, listening skill contributes to speaking skill and vice versa. In turn, those two skills will be strengthened by student reading skill or vice versa. Speaking skill is very close related to listening skill. Speaking and listening skill refer to all means to communicate orally. Because of the importance of this writing skill, the writer sees the need of al-Kitabah study map and its parts that can be delivered to student systematically, start from the lowest level (Ibtidâiyyah) to the next level (I’dadiyyah) based on students condition and psychology, including components in Al-kitâbah.

Abstract

The art of writing or calligraphy or better known in Arabic as khat has given a touch of art in learning Arabic. This article describes teaching Arabic with calligraphy. This media is proven to be a stimulant and a tool that teachers use to encourage students' interest to learn Arabic. In the learning process as well as in the form of the work, it has made the Arabic and calligraphy into a unity. The model with a touch of calligraphy art is aimed at learners who are just getting to know Arabic to have a sense of joy and affection to learn Arabic. The impact of pleasure can change the mindset of learners that Arabic is easy and fun.

Abstract

This paper aims to obtain a description of various types of Arabic calligraphy, to find out the extent to which Naskhi type calligraphy is used in basic Arabic learning and to know the factors that support the optimization of the use of Naskhi khat in basic Arabic learning. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data analysis uses descriptive analytic. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that Arabic with calligraphy is an integrated one even in a learning model, both are interrelated and supportive. The relationship can be seen through several aspects; aspects of history, practical aspects, aspects of form, aspects of character and aspects of psychology. The factors that support the use of Khat Naskhi are the factors of teachers and students in line with learning methods and media. While the analysis of the role of the use of Khat Naskhi in basic Arabic language learning is: 1. Khat Naskhi helps the process of learning Arabic. 2. Khat Naskhi helps writing skills in basic Arabic. 3. Khat Naskhi helps reading skills in basic Arabic, and 4. Khat Naskhi also plays a role in student learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the problems of fifth-grade students of SD Qurrota A'yun in reading Arabic texts in terms of phonological aspects, to find out the efforts made by Arabic teachers in overcoming these problems, and to find out the ideal concept of learning Arabic phonology at the elementary school level. This research is a case study and field research conducted at SD Qurrota A'yun, Babadan, Bantul, DIY. The data collection used is the acquisition of qualitative data. The research subjects were the principal, Arabic teacher, and fifth-grade students of SD Quurota A'yun. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling in the form of purposive samples (purposed samples). They are collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that there are problems with reading Arabic text in students' Arabic learning in terms of phonology, are consists of phonetic aspects (in the form of vocal and consonant problems) and phonemic aspects (in the form of incorrect phonological pronunciation so that it can change the meaning of Arabic vocabulary). For this reason, teachers try to overcome this by collaborating Arabic lessons with Al-Qur'an lessons. The ideal concept of learning Arabic phonology at the elementary school level is inseparable from learning the Qur'anic tahsin. Keywords: Reading Problems, Arabic Language, Arabic Text, Phonology. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui problematika siswa kelas V SD Qurrota A’yun dalam membaca teks Arab ditinjau dari aspek fonologi, untuk mengetahui usaha yang dilakukan guru bahasa Arab dalam mengatasi problematika tersebut, dan untuk mengetahui konsep ideal pembelajaran fonologi bahasa Arab pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dan lapangan yang dilakukan di SD Qurrota A’yun, Babadan, Bantul, DIY. Pemerolehan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan pemerolehan data kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, guru bahasa Arab, dan peserta didik kelas V SD Quurota A’yun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan non probability sampling berup purposive sample (sampel bertujuan). Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat problematika membaca teks Arab dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab siswa ditinjau dari segi fonologi yaitu terdiri dari aspek fonetik (berupa problematika vokal dan konsonan) dan aspek fonemik (berupa pengucapan fonologi yang kurang tepat sehingga bisa merubah makna dari kosakata bahasa Arab). Untuk itu, guru berupaya mengatasi hal tersebut dengan mengkolaborasikan pelajaran bahasa Arab dengan pelajaran Al-Qur’an. Konsep ideal pembelajaran fonologi bahasa Arab pada tingkat sekolah dasar yaitu tidak lepas dari pembelajaran tahsin Al-Qur’an. Keywords: Problematika Membaca, Bahasa Arab, Teks Arab, Fonologi.

Abstract

Arabic calligraphy has been recognized by Indonesian society, especially in learning Arabic texts, such as Qur’an and Hadith. Nowadays, it is not even used in a manuscript only, but also used as home and mosque decoration. There are many kinds of calligraphy letterform; one of them is called “S\ulus\” (khat S\ulus\). S\ulus\ is the most used letterform both in calligraphy books and decoration. It may caused by the flexibility of its letterform and its elasticity of the structure that makes it looks charismatic. In this research, there is a new model of calligraphy which does not only depend on the history, but also relates to the secret or the meaning contained in the forming of S\ulus\. In addition, there is also a description of a more comprehensive calligraphy style which makes the idiosyncrasies of S\ulus\ are revealed in the forming of a calligraphy style.

Abstract

Abstract: As one component of language learning, the learning method becomes a determinant of the course of an effective and efficient learning process. This requires the professionalism of teachers to be able to implement certain methods in the learning process. The purpose of this paper is to determine the application of the Grammatical Hunting language game method, to find out students' responses to the learning methods applied, and their advantages and disadvantages in learning Arabic in class 3/1 Mutawasith Khoiriyah Wittaya Mulnithi Betong, Yala, Thailand. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The sample of this research is students of class 3/1 Mutawasith Khoiriyah Wittaya Mulnithi Betong, Yala, Thailand was 25 students. The research technique applied was a non-test technique with data collection instruments in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that (1) The application of the Grammatical Hunting language game method consisted of 3 stages, namely: introduction, core activities, and closing. (2) Students show the best responses to the methods applied in the form of increased interest and activeness in learning Arabic, that is 89,77 %. (3) The advantages of this method are eliminating boredom, creating cooperation, and supportive between students, while the disadvantages of applying this method, namely the number of groups and the crowded class.

Abstract

The minimal use of models and methods in mufradāt learning is the background of this research. Researchers try to apply domikara game-based learning (Domino Arabic) as an innovation in learning methods. This study aims to determine the learning process of mufradāt using domikara games (Domino Arabic Vocabulary) and whether there are differences in student learning outcomes before and after applying this learning method mufradāt mastery. This research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group model design, which involved class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The data was collected using tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. This study indicates that the domikara game-based cooperative learning in class VIII A begins with the teacher giving mufradāt, then the teacher reads, and the students imitate it. The teacher removes the mufradāt and continues with the application of domikara games (domino games) in Arabic vocabulary. Based on the post-test score data, the two groups experienced an increase in mufradāt mastery. The average score of the experimental class students, namely 61,764, increased by 91,911, while the average score of the control class began to get 60,588, which increased to 82,647. Be observed the two groups' post-test scores above; it can be seen that the experimental class and the control class both experienced a significant increase. Abstrak: Kurangnya pemanfaatan model dan metode dalam pembelajaran mufradāt melatarbelakangi lahir penelitian ini. Peneliti mencoba menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab) sebagai sebuah inovasi pemanfaatan metode belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran mufradāt dengan menggunakan permainan domikara (Domino Kosakata Bahasa Arab), dan adakah perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode pembelajaran ini terhadap penguasaan mufradāt. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan model pretest posttest control grup design. Yang melibatkan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis permainan domikara di kelas VIII A dimulai dengan guru memberikan mufradāt, kemudian guru membaca dan siswa menirukan, lalu guru menghapus mufradāt tersebut dan dilanjutkan dengan penerapan permainan domikara (domino kosakata bahasa Arab). Berdasarkan data nilai posttest, kedua kelompok sama-sama mengalami peningkatan dalam penguasaan mufradāt. Melihat rata-rata nilai siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 61,764 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 91,911 sedangkan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol bermula memperoleh 60,588 mengalami kenaikan menjadi 82,647. Dilihat dari nilai posttest kedua kelompok di atas, dapat diketahui bahwa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sama-sama mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn, the difficulty of students in understanding the material, and the monotonous and boring learning methods. Therefore, innovative learning methods and media are needed so that the learning process becomes more enjoyable. Then the media can be used as a solution to these problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the mentimeter media in understanding student material. This research is quantitative research with experimental type. The design of this research was the Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design which was carried out at MTsN 9 Bantul by using a random sampling technique. Based on statistical calculations that have been carried out in the experimental class and control class, the significance value is 0.000. Because the sig value 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Thus it can be said that there is a difference in the understanding of the Arabic language material for classes using mentimeter media with classes using conventional media.

Abstract

Research indicates that learning motivation is crucial to determine a successful learning process for students. In fact, the reality in the research field, students' motivation for Natural Science learning subjects in elementary schools is still lacking. The researcher will subsequently apply or examine the learning models. The research is conducted to explain whether the implementation of web-based e-learning in thematic learning, especially Natural Science learning subjects, can build students' learning motivation or not. The research location was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Plus Nur Rahma in Bengkulu. The time of conducting the research is the even semester in the academic year 2021/2022. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection is direct interview and documentation techniques. The research results imply that implementing an e-learning model can increase students' learning motivation. The implication of the research is that teachers or thematic learning for Natural Science learning subjects in elementary schools are recommended to utilize this web-based e-learning learning model.Â
