Abstract

The background of this research is that students feel that the methods used by the teacher are less varied so that students feel bored, then the teacher rarely connects learning material with student interests. In addition, the teacher explains more about the lesson than the students. The teacher only conveys material to students, while students have different abilities in understanding the material. The research objective was to find out how the principles of motivation, activity and individuality were applied by PAI teachers in class 2A at SMP N 1 Singingi Hilir. This study uses a qualitative approach. With data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The key informants were PAI teachers and the supporting informants were class 2A students. Data analysis in this study was done by reducing data, displaying data, and then drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study it was found: (1) Principles of motivation: teachers rarely choose teaching materials that suit students' interests, teachers rarely use teaching methods and techniques that students like, teachers rarely make corrections as soon as possible to student work and share the results with students. (2) The principle of activity: teachers rarely use multi-methods and multi-media in learning (3) The principle of individuality: teachers rarely use methods that are able to serve the needs of students according to their characteristics, then teachers also rarely use media in learning, then teachers rarely determine the right treatment for the students concerned

Abstract

Learning model is one of the methods used by teachers to improve learning activities, especially in learning Arabic. Based on the initial observations, the researchers saw that in learning activities student had difficulty understanding Arabic texts, students’ enthusiasm for learning was reduced, student were not active in learning and teachers still used tradisional learning models. Therefore, researchers are interested in trying to use a learning model that is suitable for use in this study. One of them is the Jigsaw tipe cooperative learning model. Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model is a learning model that requires active students, eager to learn in small groups. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect or not using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on students’ understanding of Arabic texts. In this study, the researcher used a true experimental design with the post test only control group design. While the tools to collect data used by researchers are observation, interviews and post test exams. This research data is a quantitative descriptive research. As for the population and samples in this study, all 7th grade students of SMPQ al-Zamriyah Islamic Boarding School Simalanggang. Which consists of 2 classes, namely class A and class B. The total number of students is 40 peoples. The results of this study show that data analysis using the t-table test at the level of 5% (0,05) t-count > t-table, which is 5,873 > 2,024. So, the conclusion in this study is that the Jigsaw type of cooperative learning model has an effect on understanding Arabic texts for 7th grade students at SMPQ al-Zamriyah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

An effort to improve students' educational success is choosing the right teaching medium and getting students' attention. The method used in this study is puzzle, which is a method that teachers can develop using simple materials and tools to help students understand the learning material. The purpose of this study is to know the use of the puzzle method in learning Arabic to improve writing ability. Accordingly, the researcher conducted this study entitled "Using the Puzzle Method to Improve the Writing Skill of Eighth Grade Students in the Middle School Yaftif Gadang West Pasaman. This study uses research and qualitative data from observations, interviews, and documents. The teacher prepares the generated Basler method. The puzzles are then randomly selected if the students can arrange them correctly, and the students are then scored as successful if the students still do not understand the material. So if they can put Puzzle together, they can create a set of vocabulary in Puzzle. From this it can be concluded that there is a lack of effectiveness between teachers and students, as the teacher thinks that the students have understood the lesson, while the students are still unable to understand it because they do not repeat what they have learned at home because they are not only learning at school but at home Also, yes, until we understand more about teaching

Abstract

The aim of this research was to ascertain, at UPT SDN 36 Payakumbuh City, the relationship of parental responsibility to students' Islamic religious education learning motivation. The Relationship of Parental Responsibility to Students' Islamic Religious Education Learning Motivation may be better understood by means of this research.This kind of study applies the Correlation approach of quantitative research. There are as many as 31 respondents among the students of UPT SDN 36 Payakumbuh City. Random sampling took the sample. Data were gathered by means of questionnaires and observations; thereafter, they were computed computerized using the SPSS Version 26 chi square statistical test. According to the univariate findings of this research, 54.8% of the sample exhibit inadequate parental accountability and low Islamic Religious Education learning motivation of 51.6%. With a significant value in the findings displaying (p = 0.002 <0.05), the bivariate results revealed a link between parental accountability and Islamic Religious Education learning motivation.

Abstract

The inadequate critical thinking skills of children in education spurred this study. Therefore, a scientific method is one of the learning strategies required to help pupils to acquire their critical thinking abilities. One learning model capable of supporting a scientific approach is the PBL model. This study thus seeks to determine the extent of effect the "Scientific Approach Through the For the Fiqh Class XI Science Subject at MAN 1 West Pasaman,"PBL Model tests students' critical thinking ability". Here is quantitative study using correlational techniques. There are ninety-five pupils in total, three courses. There were 95 students in the sample; the method of sampling was complete sampling. Data was gathered via a questionnaire and subjected to a basic linear regression test. It may be concluded that the scientific method applied using the PBL model has a favorable influence on critical thinking abilities and Ha is accepted because the sig. equal to 0.001 < 0.05 and t_count value 4.545 > t_table 1.980. Furthermore, the scientific method used via the PBL paradigm affects critical thinking abilities by 18.2%; the remaining 81.8% is formed by additional elements not investigated in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh dari penggunaan mind mapping dan motivasi dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X mata pelajaran PAI di SMAN 4 Kota Payakumbuh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dalam bentuk True Experimental Design. Strategi pengumpulan data melalui tes yaitu pretest-posttest untuk kelas X.3 sebagai kelas kontrol (pembelajaran biasa, kelas X.7 sebagai kelas eksperimen (pembelajaran dengan mind mapping), dan lembar angket motivasi dan angket mind mapping. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus sesuai dengan jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif eksperimen. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa output hasil uji F (ANOVA) diketahui nilai signifikansi untuk pengaruh X1 dan X2 secara simultan terhadap Y adalah sebesar 0.000 < 0,05 dan nilai F hitung 22.672 > F tabel 3.28 , Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh X1 dan X2 secara simultan terhadap Y. Terdapat pengaruh mind mapping dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik  pada materi meneladani peran ulama dalam menyebarkan Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the assessment items for the Final Summative Assessment (AAS) of the Akidah Akhlak subject for the XI grade at MAN 1 Rokan Hulu have not been analyzed for their validity, reliability, difficulty index, distinguishing power, and distractors. Teachers should conduct an item analysis before administering the assessment to students. Additionally, many students scored below the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM), which for the Akidah Akhlak subject in XI grade at MAN 1 Rokan Hulu is 75. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the quality of the assessment items for the Final Summative Assessment (AAS) of the Akidah Akhlak subject for XI grade at MAN 1 Rokan Hulu. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The population and sample in this study consist of all XI grade students at MAN 1 Rokan Hulu who participated in the Final Summative Assessment (AAS) for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 80 students. Data analysis was conducted through a quantitative item analysis of the assessment items for the Final Summative Assessment of the Akidah Akhlak subject, focusing on their validity, reliability, difficulty index, distinguishing power, and distractors, using Microsoft Excel. The results of the study indicate that there are 6 items (15%) that are not usable, 27 items (67.5%) that can be used with revisions, and 7 items (17.5%) that can be used without revisions. In conclusion, there are 6 items that are of poor quality and cannot be used for assessment. Meanwhile, the remaining 34 items can be included in the question bank and used for future assessments. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh butir soal Asesmen Akhir Sumatif mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas XI di MAN 1 Rokan Hulu belum dilakukan analisis terhadap butir soalnya, baik itu validitasnya, reliabilitasnya, indeks tingkat kesukarannya, daya pembedanya, dan juga pengecohnya (distractor). Seharusnya guru telah melakukan analisis butir soal terlebih dahulu sebelum soal tersebut diujikan kepada peserta didik. Selain itu, masih banyak peserta didik yang memperoleh nilai dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), dimana KKM mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas XI di MAN 1 Rokan Hulu adalah 75 (tujuh puluh lima). Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal Asesmen Akhir Sumatif (AAS) mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas XI di MAN 1 Rokan Hulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MAN 1 Rokan Hulu yang telah mengikuti Asesmen Akhur Sumatif (AAS) Akidah Akhlak tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, yaitu sebanyak 80 peserta didik. Teknik analisa datanya yaitu dengan melakukan analisis butir soal secara kuantitatif terhadap butir soal Asesmen Akhir Sumatif mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas XI di MAN 1 Rokan Hulu ditinjau dari validitasnya, reliabilitasnya, indeks tingkat kesukarannya, daya pembedanya, dan juga pengecohnya (distractor) dengan menggunakan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 6 butir soal (15%) yang tidak dapat digunakan, 27 butir soal (67,5%) yang dapat digunakan dengan revisi, dan 7 butir soal (17,5%) yang dapat digunakan tanpa revisi. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat 6 butir soal yang memiliki kualitas tidak baik, sehingga tidak dapat digunakan untuk asesmen. Kemudian 34 butir soal lagi dapat digunakan dan dimasukkan ke dalam bank soal, butir soal tersebut dapat digunakan kembali pada asesmen selanjutnya.

Abstract

Education is one of the indicators to create a civilized human being. Every human being has intelligence where the basic intelligence describes the essence of the self or the wholeness of the self. Without one of them, a person cannot be a complete and integrated person. Learning strategies play an important role in accommodating the fulfillment of this in order to reach almost all intelligences possessed by students. In the process, learning must have patterns and elements of grammar management, sequence, logic, order and sequence, problem solving, mapping, individual experience, and social relationships through interaction and discussion. To fulfill these needs, the selection of learning strategies based on multiple intelligences is very appropriate to be a determining factor in the success of the learning process

Abstract

One of the research problems that occur in teaching vocabulary in this school is that the level of vocabulary mastery of students is still low, students' enthusiasm in teaching vocabulary, and students are less interested in teaching vocabulary. The aim of this research is to apply the Concep Attaiment learning model of achievement in the seventh grade at Padang TPI Hunk High School North Sumatra. This scientific research is quantitative research. This scientific research uses True Experimental with the Type of Control Group Design model with pre- and post-testing with one type. The results of the research found the effect of the Concept Attaiment education model to upgrade the vocabulary of seventh grade students. This appeared from the results of the post-test in the control class with an average value of 71.25. The average value in the experimental semester is 85.5. Based on the sig (2-tailed) hypothesis test which is 0.000.Smaller than 0.005 is Ha acceptable means there is an impact of the Concept Attaiment education model to upgrade the vocabulary of seventh graders at TPI High School Padang Hunk North Sumatra.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a new policy issued by UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science (FTIK) as the manager by presenting a Field Experience Practice (PPL) model that was different from the previous year, namely Practice-Based Field Experience. domicile. This was done as an effort to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 Virus which had just hit Indonesia and of course also had an impact on the implementation of the education system at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi, so it was necessary to find alternatives related to this problem. This Domicile-Based Field Experience Practice Model involves various parties in its implementation, namely administrators/faculties, supervisors, and tutors who will directly interact with students who will carry out Domicile-Based PPL. This research is a survey research using a quantitative descriptive approach, namely the method used to answer problems using precise measurement techniques for certain variables, resulting in conclusions that can be explained. The data collection techniques for this research were interviews and questionnaires. As the object of research are PAI students class of 2019 who are participating in Domicile-Based PPL. Data analysis was performed by interpreting the recapitulation of the tabulated data obtained. The results of research in the field show that there is a match between the experience gained and felt with the expectations desired by 2019 PAI students who have carried out the process of implementing Domicile-Based PPL. This is based on the recapitulation that has been processed by researchers with the acquisition of a student satisfaction index in the management/faculty domain obtaining a percentage of 72.6% in the satisfied category, for supervising lecturers obtaining a percentage of 76.4% in the satisfied category, and for teachers Pamong gets a percentage of 73.8% in the satisfied category. With the acquisition of these scores, the 2019 batch of PAI student satisfaction index was obtained for the Implementation of Domicile-Based PPL UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi of 74.3% in the satisfied category.
