Abstract

For a company the best way to maintain optimal company conditions is to implement Total Quality Management (TQM). This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) which is then realized in 4 basic pillars, namely customer focus, employee empowerment, continuous quality improvement, and fact-based management on operational performance at UD. Restu Jaya. The research sample used was 44 employees. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression, classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) is proven to have a simultaneous effect on operational performance variables. However, there are several variables that have no partial effect on the operational performance variable, while those variables are employee empowerment and continuous quality improvement. While the variables focused on customers and management based on facts have a significant partial effect on operational performance variables

Abstract

The study aims to determine the factors considered in implementing the operational strategy of Umrah and Hajj bureaus in Indonesia with 105 owners or manager respondents in New Normal conditions. The analytical tool used in this research was factor analysis with 7 variables: cost, quality, delivery, flexibility, innovation, service, technology, and differentiation with 27 variables. The results of rotation and factor reduction leave 19 variables with a total of 5 factors scilicet technology, service, quality, differentiation, and cost. This finding was interesting because literature and technology research rarely discusses technology and services that were relevant to technological developments where most services were carried out online.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of experience and complexity of TAM on the EPKH application system used to report data at the Ministry of Social Affairs. This research is a quantitative study using data collection methods by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents, namely social assistants in East Java. This type of research is explanatory research, the determination of the sample is done by the non-probability sampling technique and using a purposive sampling method. The collected data is then tested and analyzed using the Smart PLS program. The results showed that experience had no significant effect on perceived usefulness, while experience had a significant effect on perceived ease of use. Complexity also has a significant effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use has a significant effect on perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness has a significant effect on the intention to use and intention to use significantly affects real use.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the factors considered in entrepreneurial students at UMM. The research population is UMM students who are entrepreneurs, a sample of 100 from 10 faculties with a total of 10 students per faculty. The analysis tool used is factor analysis with 34 research variables. The results showed that of the 34 were selected variables, 22 variables were classified into 4 factors, namely the readiness to work, the independence, earning greater income and the life balancing. It means that students in entrepreneurship consider the readiness to work, the independence, earning the higher income and the life balancing. The dominant factor considered is the readiness to work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors considered by students in choosing a career after graduating from college. The research population is students of the 4 largest universities in Malang, they are Brawijaya University, State University of Malang, University of Muhammadiyah Malang and State Islamic University of Malang. The sample of the study was 200 respondents with details of each university 50 respondents, respondents who filled out the complete questionnaire were 134. The analysis tool was factor analysis with 24 variables originating from the voice of respondents. From the data analysis process, 16 variables were worthy of analysis and grouped into 6 factors. The results showed that there were 6 factors for student career choice are: financial, job information, opportunity, social environment, challenge and interest, with financial being the dominant factor.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to investigate which factors employers should focus on in their job seeker strategies. The present study tested the respondent perception and analyzed relationships between social media, brand corporate, and career choice about intentions to apply for a job. Design/methodology/approach – Electronic questionnaires were distributed to students at higher education institutions in Malang. The proposed model is analyzed based on 136 responses related to two well-known Indonesian firms, they are BUMN and Government. Findings – The results indicate that several employer attributes are positive for social media, brand corporate reputation, and career choice to intention job seeker, which again is related to the attraction of potential employees. Specifically, social media is the strongest predictor of intention to apply for a job. The research is original in the way it combines social media, brand corporate, and career choice, which will be valuable to employers in their recruitment processes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the operational strategies and business performance of entrepreneurial students, as well as to analyze operational strategies on business performance. This research was conducted on entrepreneurial students in Malang consisting of students from UB, UM Malang, Poltek, UMM, Unisma and UIN Malang. The population is students who are actively running businesses with an unknown number. Sample The sample was taken from 25 entrepreneurial students at each university, so that the total sample was 150 which was considered to represent all entrepreneurial students. The sampling technique was accidental sampling for entrepreneurial students in tertiary institutions. The analysis tool uses an interval scale and regression with SPSS. The research results show that the operation strategy and business performance of entrepreneurial students is very good, the operation strategy (cost, quality, delivery and flexibility) influences business performance.

Abstract

This research explores the qualifications, requirements, and impacts of Indonesian migrant workers. The study was conducted qualitatively by exploring information related to the qualifications and impact of PMI and interpreting and concluding. To obtain balanced information, the respondents were 10 PMI and ten families. The research results show that educational training meets workforce needs in countries considered more advanced than Indonesia. The social, economic, and cultural impacts on both PMI and their families have outstanding values, meaning that PMI and their families all experience social, financial, and cultural improvements.

Abstract

Kehidupan bermasyarakat dan berbangsa yang baik dapat dibangun melalui kesadaran individu baik secara mandiri maupun berkelompok dalam berkontribusi kepada masyarakat sekitar. Rendahnya kesadaran yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang masalah sampah masih menjadi hal yang perlu memperoleh perhatian pada masyarakat. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran terhadap sampah dari sisi positif memiliki beberapa manfaat baik secara ekonomi maupun sosial. Secara ekonomi memisahkan sampah kering dan basah dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah. Sampah kering berupa kertas, dos, plastik dapat dijual, begitu juga dengan mengolah sampah basah menjadi pupuk organic dapat digunakan untuk memupuk tanaman dan dapat dijual. Di sisi lain, pengelolaan sampah yang baik dapat mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan limbah dan meringankan pekerjaan tukang sampah. Manfaat ekonomi dan social ini dapat menciptkan lingkungan yang produktif dan sehat. Dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran terhadap sampah dilakukan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, praktik langsung dan pendampingan pengelolaan sampah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman pentingnya mengelola sampah dengan baik pada masyarakat Dermosari Sumberagung Ngantang. Hasil kegiatan adalah masyarakat telah memahami pentingnya pengelolaan sampah, membuat MOL, mengelola sampah dapur dengan mengggunakan media drum dan mengubur di perkebunan. Dari hasil pengelolaan sampah menjadi pupuk organic yang digunakan untuk memupuk tanaman baik sayur, buah maupun bunga. Manfaat selanjutnya adalah terciptanya lingkungan yang sehat dan peningkatan kegiatan ekonomi yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup masyarakat yang semakin baik.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out aim to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among households as an effort to improve the economy of families in the Gading Kasri sub-district. In addition, it also aims to encourage the surrounding community to be aware of maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, as well as the need for proper waste management. The community service methods included counseling, discussions, question and answer sessions, and hands-on practice in processing used items into items with added economic value. The results of this activity, which was attended by 15 representatives of PKK members, are expected to contribute to improving the economy of PKK mothers, to share knowledge, and to encourage the community to develop their resources in a sustainable manner to improve the family economy. This effort to recycle used items, specifically plastic waste, is intended to motivate the community to improve their abilities and skills and to work to bring benefits to themselves and the surrounding community by producing recycled plastic products such as flower vases, plastic flowers, wall decorations, and others.
