Energy needs are one of the reasons why research on renewable energy is the choice. One of the renewable energies is OTEC (ocean thermal energy conversion) with sea surface heat being an energy source and boilers being a medium for converting heat energy into motion energy so that in the end it becomes electrical energy. Boilers are a vital part of a generator, so boiler testing is a requirement for a generator. The research was carried out by experiment by testing the boiler with various temperatures and pressures so as to produce output power. The results show that temperature and pressure are highly correlated with output power. The application of OTEC shows that temperature and pressure are things that must be considered, the higher the surface temperature, the greater the output power.

High-intensity noise that is not realized causes serious impacts on the crew and inconvenience for each worker . Examples of noise that directly affects worker comfort include the main engine itself which is the biggest source of noise, exhaust gas outlets on the deck and auxiliary machinery and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the noise at every place on the KN Prajapati ship, the method used was direct measurement on the research object. The results of ship noise ranged from 50 to 65 dB are still below the permitted IMO of 65 dB and Government Regulation of 60 dB, indicating that noise is still the threshold allowed by IMO and the government.

The role of leadership is very strategic and important for achieving the mission, vision and goals of an organization, primal leadership is leadership based on emotional intelligence, it is hoped that primal leadership is a type of leadership that will improve the performance and welfare of society. This study aims to describe the primal leadership at PT MK Semarang. This research is both qualitative and quantitative by taking a sample of 30 employees of PT MK. Pencemaran lingkungan telah menjadi isu global, perbaikan kualitas menjadi bahan yang tak habis habisnya, disisi lain kebutuhan manusia akan energi menjadi salah satu sebab timbulnya pencemaran. Laut yang bersih merupakan impian dan harapan agar bisa kembali bisa menikmati alam yang segar dan laut yang bersih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran incinerator dalam pencegahan pencemaran laut Di KM. Tanto Bersama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di KM Tanto Bersama. Penelitian dilakukan dengan skala waktu atau time series. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa incinerator memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pencegahan pencemaran laut sehingga keberadaan incinerator menjadi suatu kewajiban diatas kapal.

The purpose of a ship is for the transportation or transfer of goods, but what is no less important is safety. Therefore checking every part is very important. Repair of the hull is mandatory because damage to the hull can result in imbalance in ship operations and even ship accidents. This study aims to describe the repair of the ship's hull on the KM. Harima PT. CSFI Cilacap. The study used a survey method by observing and being directly involved in the ship repair process. Improvements that are in accordance with the research objectives are repairing the ship's hull KM Harima. Lubrication is an important thing in ship machining operations because it becomes a protective layer to separate two surfaces that are in contact with each other with three phases of objects whose volume remains at a constant temperature and pressure. Lubrication serves to prevent friction between components so that it becomes smoother. If the engine is at a high temperature, the oil viscosity will tend to decrease. The more often the lubricant is used, the thing that happens is that the temperature of the lubricating oil varies. The purpose of this study is to describe the behavior of the lubrication temperature on the ship. The research uses quantitative methods by observing the temperature of the main engine along the way by looking at indicators and direct measurements on the main engine using a thermocouple. The results showed that the temperature behavior is very dependent on the age of the lubrication and the operation of the cooling system on the ship's machining system. This study concludes that the lubrication temperature behavior is very dynamic and the influencing factors include the age of the lubrication, the type of lubricant and the engine, as well as the cooling performance.

The issue of renewable energy is something that has often been discussed, especially since oil reserves are running low, the electricity supply that is indispensable for the sustainable development of infrastructure. One of the renewable energy sources is the marine thermal energy conversion system (OTEC). Renewable energy in time will become the mainstay of national and world energy because in fifty years an energy crisis may occur. OTEC's energy sources are re-emerging because of fears that an energy crisis will occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical model of the Popa OTEC design. The OTEC design is inseparable from the plumbing device, both cold water pipes, warm water and NH3 water. This research is a mathematical model of pipe design in a marine thermal power plant. The research begins with a literature review, namely previous research on OTEC (oceans thermal energy coversion). The results of the research are the determination of the diameter formula used to determine the pipe diameter, for cold seawater, warm seawater and NH3 or ammonia pipes. Shipping safety is mandatory in terms of activities at sea. Recognizing the importance of safety in shipping both before sailing and during sailing, this is because safety is the main goal in transporting and in working, the attention of all parties is always safety as the main goal. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge of fishermen about shipping safety, whether they work as fish catchers or in the field of sea transportation. The sample used is 50 fishermen who are in the city of Cilacap. The research method used is quantitative by giving a questionnaire and then assessing the level of knowledge. The results showed that the category was sufficient and good, namely 20 people or 40% and at least in the less category, namely 10 people or 20%, this shows that the average level of knowledge of fishermen about shipping safety. To increase knowledge, socialization and training are needed. Keselamatan pelayaran merupakan keharusan, dan merupakan syarat supaya kapal bisa berlayar. Keselamatan pelayaran tidak terlepas dari manusia yang ada di dalamnya yaitu Anak Buah Kapal (ABK) , yaitu orang yang menjadi kru kapal dan Nakoda sebagai pemimpinnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran organiasai bisa meningkatkan keselamatan pelayaran. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan crosecsional. Penelitian menggunakan 30 sampel dan dianalisa dengan menggunaka regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran organisasi (X1) akan berpengaruh positif dengan peningkatan keselamatan pelayaran (X2) dan signifikan
