Abstract

The focus of the PTK problem is "Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes Through the Application of Media Reciprocal Learning Models with Ball Balls for the IX Class Semester Students of Basketball Games in the Middle School 21 Surabaya Middle School." The formulation of the problem in this study are: Is the ball media and reciprocal / reciprocal learning model able to improve sports learning outcomes in basketball games, so that overall able to achieve the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This classroom action research was conducted in conjunction with the lecturer practice program at the Surabaya 21st Junior High School. Previously it was preceded by observation for two days. The research procedure uses planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection. Data collection techniques with test and observation methods, and the tools used during the study were ball media, field, basket basket, observation sheet. Data analysis technique with percentage formula. The results of the study are as follows: Average values ​​(Mean) are all above the KKM value which is equal to 70 and the average value is 75.5. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the formative evaluation developed by the teacher so it is known whether the evaluation form developed is based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The subjects of this study were High School Students of SDN Kuwonharjo 2, Academic Year 2018/2019 UPTD Takeran District, Magetan Regency. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative approach. The data of this study were obtained from formative question documents developed by SDN Kuwonharjo 2 teachers. Based on the overall results of the formative evaluation analysis, it showed that the evaluation forms that were made had not yet demonstrated Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). All questions are still at the C1 and C2 levels so this is an ingredient to make improvements in terms of planning to make a minimum evaluation form at the C4 level.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara siswa memiliki peran yang sangat penting, baik sebagai sarana berkomunikasi formal di kelas dengan guru, maupun berinteraksi secara sosial dengan teman sebaya pada saat diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hanya saja, pandemi Covid-19 yang mengondisikan siswa untuk belajar dari rumah selama dua tahun membuat kemampuan berbicara para siswa perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik dan faktor penyebab kesulitan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas II di SD Negeri 02 Tawangrejo Kota Madiun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti adalah dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini diuji menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian tersebut di antaranya: 1) keterampilan berbicara siswa masuk dalam kategori rendah, 2) faktor penyebab kesulitan keterampilan berbicara disebabkan oleh tiga aspek yaitu, lingkungan, media yang digunakan, serta psikologis siswa.

Abstract

In Solo, there are 4 families that have organized homeschooling, one of is Mr. Hidayat's family . Their children previously could not enjoy their study, after switching to homeschooling their children are happier when learning, critical, creative and have high curiosity. How is the curriculum design applied in single homeschooling "Solo Homeschooling" . The purpose of this study is to find out how the characteristics of the single homeschooling curriculum design "Solo Homeschooling". This study is qualitative research. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity was obtained through data triangulation. The analytical used is an interactive analysis that consists of reduction and display data, then verification. The curriculum applied is correlated and integrated curriculum. Parents combine one subject to another, because the goal is not score but educational enlightenment, besides that it also integrates subject with problems that they see, hear and feel that are happening around them.

Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan suatu kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami sains, mengkomunikasikan sains baik lisan maupun tulisan, serta menerapkan pengetahuan sains untuk memecahkan masalah dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan data observasi yang di dapat. Kemampuan literasi sains pada mahasiswa keperawatan ini sangat berhubungan dengan kemampuan dalam mengobservasi dan menyimpulkan suatu kasus kesehatan tertentu. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan literasi sains ini sangat penting sekali dikuasai oleh mahasiswa keperawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa program studi S1 Keperawatan dan Profesi Ners pada materi enzim. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrument kemampuan literasi sains adalah metode tes dengan subyek penelitian 16 mahasiswa S1 Keperawatan dan Profesi Ners semester ganjil tahun 2019/2020 di ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) indikator mengenali pertanyaan ilmiah (46%); (2) indikator mengidentifikasi bukti (43%); (3) indikator menarik kesimpulan (40%) ; (4) indikator mengkomunikasikan kesimpulan (44%); (5) indikator menunjukkan pemahaman konsep ilmiah (42%).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a science literacy-based Adolescent Reproductive Health Flip Book media. This research is a type of development research (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model with four stages, namely introduction, development stage, testing and dissemination stage. In this study, the validators were material and media experts. This trial involved students and lecturers from the Midwifery and Anesthesiology Nursing Study Program of ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta in the academic year 2023/2024, with data collection methods of observation, questionnaires, interviews and tests. Qualitative descriptive techniques and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The limited group trial showed a validity of 78.13%, the broad group trial showed a validity of 87.1%, and the material validation showed 88.75%. Student learning outcomes showed a higher average student post-test score of 81.75 compared to the pre-test score of 69.5. The results showed that Flip Book is a valid and effective learning tool and is suitable for use as an innovative learning media

Abstract

The integration of nanotechnology into education is crucial to fostering creative thinking among high school students in the context of advanced scientific developments. This study aims to explore how the use of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) in nanotechnology education can enhance students' creativity. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, data were collected through interviews, observations, and focus group discussions involving students and educators. The results indicate that hands-on experiments with SiNWs significantly enhance students' engagement, comprehension of abstract concepts, and creative problem-solving skills. The study highlights the importance of interactive and interdisciplinary approaches in modern science education to nurture innovation and prepare students for future challenges.

Abstract

Until now, energy has had a very important role in the life of human civilization. One of the problems that arise in the use of energy is that there is still a lot of use of fossil energy, even though this energy is very limited on Earth. Therefore, the need for efficiency in energy use in all areas of life, including in government, private, and community institutions. But doing so, of course, requires a measuring instrument that is practically inexpensive and highly efficient. The application system is the right answer to solving this problem, so the authors conduct research by making measuring instruments that can record digitally in memory and with the Internet of Things system so that analysis will be faster and more accurate, and by not using cables as data distribution.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus emerged in late 2019 in Wuhan, China, rapidly spreading to over 190 countries worldwide. Governments implemented various measures, including body temperature checks as an initial step in detecting Covid-19 symptoms. However, manual body temperature measurement using a thermogun has limitations due to direct contact. Therefore, this research develops an automatic, contactless body temperature monitoring system based on Arduino Uno to improve efficiency and reduce physical contact. The system uses an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor as a distance limiter for temperature measurement, an MLX-90614 infrared temperature sensor for detecting body temperature, and an Arduino Uno to process data displayed on an LCD in degrees Celsius, with a buzzer as a notification indicator. The test results show that this system achieves a body temperature measurement accuracy of 99.53%, producing results close to the reference device when the object and sensor are within a 1–5 cm range and aligned in a parallel position.
