Fertilizing Treatment of Soybean Anjasmoro Varieties on Rainfed Rice Field in Water Shortages Areas of Pidie Regency Helmi Helmi; Munawar Khalil; Ilyas Ilyas; Teuku Makmur; Edy Marsudi; Akhmad Baihaqi

Abstract

Appropriate fertilization in the cultivation of high-yielding varieties has a great opportunity to increase soybean production, especially in soybean centers where areas lack water and ex-paddy fields. An assessment was conducted in Ujong Pie Village, Muara Tiga District, Pidie Regency during the 2020 dry season. The study demonstrated the use of appropriate cultivation technology and superior varieties of Anjasmoro soybean. Plants are managed with integrated crop management (PTT). The land used is land that was previously used for rice planting activities. The study applied five treatments, namely the former fertilized N (P1), K (P2), P (P3), and NPK (P4), as well as the pattern of farmers as control (P5). Pest and disease control is carried out with the principle of IPM. The variables measured were the growth rate of plants and their production components. The results obtained showed that the average plant height during the vegetative period at locations P4 and P5 (P0.05) was higher than those who received other treatments. The maximum growth (height) of plants that received the treatment were 56.33 cm and 54.66 cm. The highest average number of pods per plant occurred in plot P5 and then in P4, 16.50 and 15.00 pods per plant, respectively. The highest average seed production per plant was achieved in plot P5 (18.4 g/plant) and followed by plot P4 (17.13 g/plant) or converted in hectares with an average of 1.82 t/ha and 1, 50 t/ha

Abstract

This research is intended to determine the leading commodities that have growth and competitiveness and have priority to be developed in the Gayo Lues Regency. The research was conducted using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Shift Share (SS) analysis and Priority Commodity Development Priority analysis. The object used is agricultural commodities with limited research space on commodity production in each agricultural sub-sector in Gayo Lues Regency and Aceh Province. The results of the study show that agricultural leading commodities are peanuts, corn, rice, pineapple, shallots, cayenne pepper, large chili, tomatoes, siam orange, tobacco, candlenut, lemongrass, ginger, sugar palm, patchouli, sugar cane, buffalo, sheep, goats, cattle and rice field fisheries. Main commodities that have fast growth are rice, cayenne pepper, large chili, tomatoes, pineapple, serehwangi, tobacco, ginger, patchouli, cattle, goats and sheep. While commodities that have good competitiveness are corn, peanuts, large chillies, shallots, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, candlenut, tobacco, sugar palm, beef, buffalo, goats and sheep. The leading commodities that are the first priority to be developed are tobacco, cayenne pepper, large chillies, tomatoes, sheep, goats and cows. The second priority is pineapple, serehwangi, ginger, patchouli, rice, candlenut, shallots, sugar palm, peanuts, corn and buffalo. The third or alternative priority is rice fisheries, sugar cane and Siamese oranges.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge, attitudes and skills of PKK mothers in Gue Gajah Village regarding verticulture shelf assembly techniques, proper business management, diversification of verticultural processed food and professional marketing using a mobile application. Implementation activities will begin with the coordination and socialization stage with partners for the implementation of activities, then proceed with training on diversification of processed food products. The next activity is to provide counseling on business management, and ways to develop it. Providing counseling on business management, and ways to develop it. Furthermore, partners will be facilitated in making mobile application digital marketing applications so as to facilitate the marketing process. Based on the results of the activity, it can be concluded that partners have increased their knowledge and skills in improving horticultural cultivation vertically. Long-term planning on the use of a marketing android application to increase sales of vegetables. This application is expected to be one of the models in tools for marketing vegetable products in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The continuation of this program can also be carried out by forming partners or partners for Study Programs within the University of Syiah Kuala to support the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Students will later do an internship at Dudi Partners with conditions that have been agreed upon by both parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja kemiskinan di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Proses pengambilan sampel dimulai dengan memilih 2 kecamatan secara acak, kemudian memilih 2 desa dari masing-masing kecamatan dan memilih 20 reponden dari masing-masing desa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja kemiskinan di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan adalah kemiskinan struktural dan kekayaan budaya. Padahal kemasyhuran alam tidak mungkin, karena Kabupaten Aceh Selatan bukan daerah yang terisolasi atau kawasan dengan kondisi alam kurang. Kemiskinan budaya terjadi karena sistem dan struktur sosial tidak memberikan kesempatan yang memungkinkan orang miskin untuk dapat bekerja secara produktif. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh sistem upah rendah dan diskriminatif bagi perempuan, tidak seimbangnya pembagian saham, dan intervensi topdown yang direncanakan dari pemerintah. Di sisi lain, kemiskinan budaya disebabkan oleh gaya hidup, budaya, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat, seperti nongkrong di kedai kopi, hutang konsumtif yang berlebihan, kemalasan, sikap ditinggalkan dan kurang memiliki etos kerja. Jadi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengurangi kemiskinan di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan harus ada program yang terpadu dan sistematis dengan memperhatikan masalah perilaku yang berkaitan dengan kinerja kemiskinan struktural dan budaya di sana. Masyarakat miskin perlu diberi pendidikan dalam bentuk pelatihan keterampilan dan potensi kewirausahaan berbasis daerah, dilengkapi dengan bantuan modal (softloans), dan juga mentoring yang memadai.
