Abstract

Advances in information technology are currently growing very rapidly in line with the human need to access information quickly, easily and accurately. The Internet network is one of the tools to meet these information needs. BUMDesa of Karangjati Village creates a small village-owned server that is intended to facilitate the community's Internet needs at a more affordable price than the prices of other internet service providers. The research was conducted to observe and improve the network topology, so as to maximize the internet network belonging to BUMDesa Karangjati Village. In addition, research is conducted to solve problems such as running out of ports when there are additional subscribers or overcoming user modems that are often interrupted by replacing a problematic modem adapter or replacing an old modem with a new modem. The method used is by conducting direct observations and interviews with BUMDesa Jati Lestari Karangjati Village. The proposed configuration scheme is created using the Cisco Packet Tracer simulation application. Based on the results of internet research owned by BUMDesa Karangjati Village, it uses a tree topology because there is only one central server and the IP address address configuration uses class C, because it still uses a network on a small scale. The transmission medium uses a fiber optic cable from the server and the addition of ports will continue to be carried out in line with the increase in internet network subscribers.

Abstract

Automatic analysis of consumer product reviews is essential for understanding granular customer perceptions beyond basic sentiment. While transformer-based models are prevalent in Indonesian sentiment analysis, their adaptation for multi-emotion classification shifting from broad polarities to specific affective states remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by proposing a Continual Fine-Tuning (CFT) approach to adapt a pre-trained IndoBERTweet model from three sentiment categories into five distinct emotion classes: Happiness, Sadness, Fear, Love, and Anger. The novelty lies in the strategic repurposing of sentiment-oriented weights to capture nuanced emotional representations in Indonesian e-commerce discourse. Experimental results on the PRDECT-ID dataset demonstrate that the proposed CFT model achieves an accuracy of 0.8157 and a weighted F1-score of 0.8118, significantly outperforming traditional neural networks and multilingual baselines. The CFT model demonstrates a 2.13% improvement in accuracy compared to the base IndoBERTweet without continual tuning and a substantial 59.54% lead over the multilingual BERT (mBERT) baseline. Despite limitations concerning the dataset scale (5,400 samples) and inherent subjectivity in emotion labeling, this research provides a robust conceptual framework for model adaptation in the Indonesian NLP ecosystem. These findings suggest that CFT is an efficient strategy for enhancing the emotional intelligence of transformer models, especially in domain-specific tasks where high-quality labeled data is constrained.

Abstract

This study was conducted to assess the responses of employees at the Ministry of Trade to the Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-SKA) system. The primary focus was to determine whether the system was perceived as easy to use and how beneficial it was in assisting their daily work. Furthermore, the study sought to identify the problems or obstacles employees frequently encountered when using the system. To obtain data, the study employed a mixed methods approach. The numerical data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 39 employees, while direct interviews with system users were conducted for more in-depth explanation. The results indicated that the majority of employees were satisfied with and found the e-SKA system helpful, as it facilitated their work. However, interviews revealed that the system still frequently encountered technical glitches, lacked comprehensive features, and many employees felt they needed further training to address confusion. Despite these shortcomings, the system has been generally well-received by employees. Suggestions for the future include improvements to the technological devices used and the creation of clearer guidebooks or training so that employees can work more smoothly in processing certificates of origin in the future.
