Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan kinerja bank syariah, pemerintah mengeluarkan Aturan Penyetoran Biaya Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji (APBIP) yang mengalihkan penyetoran biaya penyelenggaraan ibadah haji dari bank konvensional ke bank syariah atau bank yang memiliki layanan syariah. Pengaruh peraturan pemerintah terhadap kinerja bank syaria masih belum jelas sehingga perlu diuji. Selain APBIP, kinerja bank diduga dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor spesifik perbankan seperti Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), dan Biaya Operasional Terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada bank syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Aturan Penyetoran Biaya Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji (APBIP), CAR, FDR, BOPO terhadap ROA di bank-bank syariah penerima setoran biaya penyelenggaraan haji, secara parsial dan simultan. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan dummy variable. Kesimpulannya ROA, FDR dan BOPO berpengaruh terhadap ROA, sedangkan CAR tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA.

Abstract

Kebangkrutan suatu perusahaan diawali oleh adanya kondisi financial distress warning dimana perusahaan mengalami kesulitan keuangan yang disebabkan oleh berbagai factor diantaranya laporankeuangan perusahaan itu sendiri, faktor pasar, dan kondisi ekonomi makro. Ketiga factor ini diantaranya dapat dijadikan prediksi atas risiko kesulitan keuangan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh rasio keuangan yang terdiri dari  (Total Fund From Operating /TFOTL, Total Liabilities to Total Asset/TLTA, No CreditInterval /NOCREDINT, Interest Coverage Ratio/ INCOV), faktor pasar (Abnormal Return/ABNRET, Market Capital To Total Debt/MCTD, PRICE, , SIZE), dan faktor ekonomi makro (Nilai Tukar/KURS, Consumer Price Index /CPI) terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya kesulitan keuangan dari 21   perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2012-2016 yang memenuhi criteria memprediksi tingkat kemungkinan kebangkrutan. Jenis penelitian yang inia dalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan purposive sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel.Sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang memilikip engaruht erhadap kemungkinan terjadinya kesulitan keuangan adalah  TLTA, NOCREDINT, SIZE, KURS, CPI. Sedangkan variabel yang tidak memiliki pengaruh kemungkinan terjadinya kesulitan keuangan adalah TFOTL, INCOV, ABNRET , MCTD, dan PRICE.

Abstract

Abstract.This empirical study aims to identify differences in efficiency and productivity between state-owned banks, national foreign exchange private banks, and national non-foreign exchange private banks from 2010 – 2016. In the initial step, 43 banks listed on the Indonesia stock exchange were grouped into three groups. Then, we selected sampling using purposive sampling with the criteria of banks with an effective IPO date starts from 2010 onwards, and incomplete financial reports are excluded from sampling. The result was that 21 banks were selected as sampling and represented three bank groups. The research methods applied in this study were Data Envelope Analysis (DEA), Malmquist Total Productivity, and Paired Sample t-test. The outcomes suggest that: (1) national non-foreign exchange private banks have higher efficiency than two other bank groups, (2) change in the productivity of national foreign exchange private banks is powerfully vulnerable to the technological shift rather than changes in technical efficiency. The superiority of group national non-foreign exchange private banks was more efficient in reducing input costs such as labor costs and third-party funds. To cope with these problems, banks in Indonesia need to prompt innovations and advanced technology to improve efficiency and productivity.  Keywords: Banks, Efficiency, Productivity, DEA, Malmquist Total Indeks, Paired t-test

Abstract

This paper examined the impact of leverage, investment decision, dividend policy and profitability on the firm value of the automotive sector companies from 2010 - 2016. There are 12 firms chosen using a purposive sampling technique implementing specific criteria. Those firms are publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Panel data regression (Pooled OLS, Fixed Effects, and Random Effects) is used in this research. The results have shown that leverage, dividend policy and profitability, have a positive and significant impact on firms' value. A rise in these factors will lead to an increasing stock price, whereas even though has  has a positive impact, but investment decision not a substantial effect on company value.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the effect of stock prices, return on assets (ROA), and firms size on dividend payout ratio (DPR). We used 5-year annualized panel data from 2014 to 2018 of 17 financial sector companies listed in the Indonesian Stock of Exchange (IDX) as sample of this study. Analysis using three regression estimations (pooled OLS, fixed effects, and random effects) showed that stock price positively affects DPR. On the other hand,  both ROA and firm size has a negative effect on DPR. These result suggests that more substantial and higher profit companies prefer to retain their earnings for financing an investment as a growth opportunity than to distribute their income as a dividend. Thereby, this agrees with the pecking order theory.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of Return on Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Current Ratio (CR) on firm value in insurance companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. The population in this research was 12 companies in various Insurance listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analytical method used three regression estimations (pooled OLS, fixed effects model (FEM), and random effects model (REM)). The results indicated that the Return on Asset, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Current Ratio had a significant negative effect on firm value. Our key finding from this research showed that when the profit was higher, the companies prefer to hold their earnings and use for an investment to generate growth opportunities. This phenomenon had explained when companies had higher yields, the firm's value went down. Therefore, this research is following the Pecking Order Theory. Further interaction analysis between DER and CR on firm value uncovers that both DER and CR also negatively affect firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of information technology and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT. XYZ which is engaged in online loans. The sample used in this study was 63 respondents who were obtained using the Slovin formula. The research data is primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents whose data is tested using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that both individually and simultaneously, information technology and service quality significantly affected customer satisfaction. This indicates that the better the quality of information technology and services will encourage increased customer satisfaction. Thus, companies must prioritize more superior technology and service quality to increase customer satisfaction, which will increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study examines profitability, leverage, and firm size on company value in the financial services sector. This study uses a sample of 67 companies in the financial industry (banks and non-bank financial institutions) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling process was selected using purposive sampling by applying specific criteria. This study involves three regression estimations (pooled OLS, fixed effects, and random effects). Performing the Chow test, the Hausman test, and the Lagrange test shows that the Fixed Effect Model is the best in panel data regression. The results showed that ROA and company size have a significant relationship to firm value. Meanwhile, leverage shows a negative relationship but not substantial to firm value. These results illustrate that the higher the profit and the bigger the company gives a positive signal to investors, thus encouraging investors to buy company shares. Increasing investor demand encourages the increase in company value. The effect of the three independent variables (profitability, leverage, and company size) concurrently on the corporate value variable was recorded at 67.14%, and the remaining 22.86 influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Abstract            This study investigates the effect of service quality on consumer loyalty at PT Wahana Senjaya Jakarta Body Paint workshop (Indomobil Nissan Datsun Warung Buncit) by using the intervening variable customer satisfaction. The sample used in the study was 100 customers as respondents. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to selected respondents, who were then analyzed using the instrument used in the form of a questionnaire to get primary data for the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis technique. The results showed that the variable service quality positively and significantly affected the consumer loyalty variable (dependent) either directly or indirectly through the variable customer satisfaction (intervening). Likewise, the consumer satisfaction variable also has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty. Excellent service quality will increase customer satisfaction, which becomes the driving force for increased consumer loyalty.
