Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study was is there a relationship between learning styles and mathematics learning achievement of clas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Baubau students? The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning style and mathematics achievement in clas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Baubau. This study used ex post facto research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were all class VIII students of MTs Negeri 1 Baubau for the Academic Year 2021/2022 which consisted of 7 study groups, namely 239 students. The sampling technique used random sampling technique, taken at least 36% of the entire sample and taken as many as 86 students. The data collection in this study is in the form of a questionnaire on learning styles and students’ learning achievement in mathematics obtained from  the grade VIII student report cards of MTs Negeri 1 Baubau in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis were simple regression and correlation analysis. Bsed on the results of the analysis using simple regression, the linear regression equation was obtained: Y = 61,937 + 0,237X, with a t value of 3.732, significant at 0.000 <0.05. this has shown that  is accepted or  is rejected, which means that there is a positive relationship between learning style and mathematics achievement for clas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Baubau.

Abstract

The formulation of  the problem in this study was whether there is a relations self-esteem and moral reasoning in learning mathematics in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau? The pearson of this study was to determine the relationship between sefl-esteem and moral reasoning in learning Mathematics in class VIII  students of SMP Negeri 8 Baubau. The type of research is a quantitative study with using the Ex-post Facto method, where the population of this research was all students of class VIII of SMP Negri 8 Baubau wiht a total of 80 students speard over 3 classes. In this study, samples were used was aquestionnaire in learning mathematics. The research data were analyzed by using correlation techniques. From the result of the analysis of correlation techniques, the assessment of self-esteem (X) on moral reasoning inlearning Mathematics (Y) produced a significanse value of 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be concluded that there is a relationsipbetween self-esteem(independent variable) amd moral reasoning in learning Mathematics (dependent variable). The also shows that the two variables have a positive relationship. Thus, the hypothetical decidion that can be taken is that there is arelationship between sef-esteem and moral reasoning ib learning mhatenatics in class VIII Negeri 8 Baubau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan kreativitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 4 Buton Selatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan menggunakan desain penelitian korelasional bivariat. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 4 Buton Selatan yang terdiri atas 2 kelas dengan keseluruhan sebanyak 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis deskriktif data menunjukan bahwa tingkat kreativitas belajar siswa secara umum masih dalam kategori sedang. Dimana sebanyak 17,5% siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi 65% siswa berada dalam kategori sedang dan sebanyak 17,5% siswa berada dalam kategori rendah. Sedangkan untuk prestasi belajar matematika siswa secara umum masih dalam kategori sedang. Dimana sebanyak 17,5% siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi 65% siswa berada dalam kategori sedang dan sebanyak 17,5% siswa berada dalam kategori rendah. Bersumber dari data penafsiran analisis korelasi linear sederhana penilaian kreativitas belajar siswa (X) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) menghasilkan nilai signifikan 0,003 dengan perbandingan taraf nyata (α = 5%) maka nilai signifikan < α atau 0,003 < 0,050. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kreativitas belajar siswa mempunyai hubungan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 4 Buton Selatan

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi publikasi ilmiah guru dalam memanfaatkan jurnal akademik sebagai media diseminasi hasil praktik pembelajaran dan penelitian tindakan kelas. Guru sebagai tenaga profesional dituntut menghasilkan karya ilmiah sebagai bagian dari pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan, namun kendala teknis seperti pemilihan jurnal, penggunaan sistem OJS, kesesuaian template, dan pemahaman proses review sering menjadi hambatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan sosialisasi sekaligus pelatihan praktis proses publikasi karya ilmiah pada jurnal program studi FKIP Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, simulasi submit artikel, serta pendampingan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 24 Juni 2023 pukul 10.00–12.00 WITA di SMA Negeri 7 Baubau dengan peserta guru-guru. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta terhadap alur publikasi jurnal, kemampuan menggunakan OJS, serta kesiapan menyusun artikel sesuai template jurnal. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada meningkatnya kesiapan guru dalam melakukan publikasi ilmiah secara mandiri.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru matematika dalam mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang responsif terhadap hambatan belajar siswa. hambatan belajar yang menjadi fokus meliputi hambatan epistemologis, didaktis, dan ontogenik yang sering muncul dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMA. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 7 Baubau pada tanggal 22 Februari 2025 pukul 07.30–12.00 WITA dengan melibatkan guru matematika sebagai mitra. Metode yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan diagnostik kesalahan siswa melalui analisis hasil pekerjaan dan respons siswa, diskusi terfokus mengenai identifikasi hambatan belajar bersama guru, serta pendampingan penyusunan desain LKPD alternatif yang berlandaskan pendekatan Didactical Design Research. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu mengidentifikasi karakteristik hambatan belajar secara lebih sistematis serta menyusun LKPD yang lebih kontekstual, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada respon belajar siswa. Uji terbatas di kelas menunjukkan adanya nilai tambah berupa peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dan perbaikan kualitas respons matematis siswa. Kegiatan ini memiliki kekuatan teoretis karena berlandaskan kerangka Didactical Design Research serta berpotensi untuk dipublikasikan dan direplikasi pada konteks sekolah lain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using technology-based learning video media on the problem of stacked multiplication in elementary school students. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of research quasi experiment (Quasy Experiment). The population of this study was also the research sample, namely fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Waha Wangi-Wangi totaling 26 students as the experimental class and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Waha Wangi-Wangi totaling 30 students as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used the administration of descriptive tests (essay) at the beginning and at the end of learning in each sample class. The data analysis technique used Prerequisite Test analysis (Normality Test and Homogeneity Test) and Hypothesis Test. The results of the analysis of this research are the normality test and homogeneity test, showing that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, then the hypothesis test is estimated using a hypothesis test (independent sample T-test) with the assumption of equal variance. The significance value obtained is 0.000 from tcount = 8.763 > ttable = 2.064. Because the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05; then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted based on the hypothesis acceptance criteria. Therefore, the researchers concluded that there was a difference in averages so that the use of technology-based learning video media was significantly effective in solving multiplication problems for elementary school students.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the influence of using the Quizizz application on students’ learning interest on mathematics subject in class VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Baubau.  This is a quantitative research by applying a correlational method, The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Baubau with a total of 327 students spread across 11 classes. Meanwhile, the sample in this study was 58 students. The instrument used was a questionnaires regarding the use of the Quizizz application and students’ interest in leraning. The data were analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis.  The results of this research can be concluded that, there is a significant influence of using the Quizizz application on students’ learning interest on mathematics subject in class VIII at SMP Negeri 4 Baubau.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of errors of grade V elementary school students in fraction calculation operations based on students' intelligence level. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The subject of this research were 30 students with the following details: four students in the high intelligence level category, sixteen students in the medium intelligence level category, and ten students in the low intelligence level category based on intelligence level indictors, namely figure ability, verbal ability and numerical ability. The conclusions of this research shows that, the types of errors made by students when completing fraction calculation operations are based on the student’s intelligence level. In the high intelligence level category, student’s do not experience problem in deciphering numerical problems where numerical errors are 0%, only make a few figure errors as much as 8.3%, and verbal errors as much as 6.25%. In the medium intelligence level category, students made a lot of verbal errors, 46.8%, numerical errors 35.4% and figure errors 27.08%. Meanwhile, for the low intelligence level category, the most numerical errors were 86.6%, followed by verbal errors 77.5% and finally figure errors 70%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Talking Stick Type Cooperative Learning Model Approach on Increasing the Mathematics Learning Activeness of Elementary School Students, namely class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone. The research method used in this research is the experimental method. The research population was all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone which consisted of 2 classes. The sample used in the research was 38 students. The instruments of this research are an initial questionnaire and a final questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean difference test. The results of the research using the average difference test obtained a tcount value of 2.145 with a sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.039 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and HI is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the talking stick type cooperative learning model approach on elementary school students' active mathematics learning, specifically in class V of SD Negeri 2 Bone-Bone.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to see the influence of learning style on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau; 2) to find out the effect of emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau; 3) to determine the influence of students' learning styles and emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau. This research is quantitative research using an ex post facto correlation research model. The population of this study were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a sample consisting of 5 classes, namely classes VII 1, VII 2, VII 3, VII 4, and VII 5 totaling 217 students selected through the Purposive Sampling technique where each class A total of 6 students were taken, namely, 2 students based on the category that achieved the highest ranking, 2 students based on the category that achieved the middle ranking, and 2 students based on the category that achieved the lowest ranking. Data collection instruments and techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) there is a significant influence of learning style on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.000 0.05; 2) there is no significant influence of students' emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.191 > 0.05; 3) there is a significant influence of learning style and emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning achievement of class VII students at SMP Negeri 18 Baubau with a variable significance of 0.000 < 0.05.
