Abstract

This research aims to analyze and minimize the impact of the risks that will occur at UPC Pegadaian Ratahan. Risk management analysis in this research uses the ISO 31000 framework guidelines which consist of the risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, and risk treatment. The results found there are 14 risks that can disrupt business processes, but of the 14 risks there are no risks with a high risk level, there are 10 medium risk level risks, and 4 low risk level risks. To reduce the impact of the risks that have been identified in this research, risk treatment strategies are applied, including Mitigating risks (Fire, Abuse of access rights, Human error, UI design that is difficult to understand, Power outages, Network connection problems, Hacking, Data theft/hardware), Risk escalation (Trouble web server, Server down), Avoiding risks (Hardware damage, Data corrupt), Accepting risks (Earthquake, Flood). This research is expected to help UPC Pegadaian Ratahan to minimize the risks that may occur in the future.

Abstract

Information technology is an important and fundamental asset in a company or organization because the presence of good information technology will certainly support work effectiveness and maximum utilization of resources. One of the government organizations operating in the field of Community Services, namely DUKCAPIL, utilizes information technology as support in its operational processes. The problem faced by DUKCAPIL is that information system governance is not running well, especially in conveying information. Therefore, research was conducted on DUKCAPIL information system governance using the COBIT (Control Objective for Information and related Technology) framework, which is an IT governance framework that defines ways and methods for an organization. The research results show that the average level of capability achieved is at the Assisted Process level. This means each sub domain has been well defined and standardized. Even though almost all processes meet the requirements, there are still weaknesses in the implementation of processes that can be maximized to achieve adequate results. DUKCAPIL still needs to carry out the level 5 process, namely Optimizing Process, by providing regular training to human resources (HR) on existing Information Systems. In addition, companies must meet user needs to achieve the desired targets.

Abstract

The e-Poin application is a platform developed by Satya Wacana Christian University to facilitate the submission of activity proposals and financial accountability reports. This application is utilized by work units and student organizations responsible for carrying out activities annually. Ensuring the smooth implementation of this application is crucial, as it directly impacts processes ranging from proposal validation to fund disbursement. Therefore, risk management for the e-Poin application using the ISO 31000:2018 framework is essential to minimize potential risks that could threaten its performance. The research identified 15 potential risks, comprising 13 risks categorized as medium-level and 2 risks categorized as low-level.

Abstract

Pas Laundry is a business engaged in laundry services located in Salatiga City. Currently, the service process and record-keeping are still carried out manually, where customers come in and Pas Laundry only provides an estimated completion time of 3 days, which can be longer due to a high volume of queues. The research objective at PAS Laundry is to design a web-based information system that customers can use to view laundry status and assist in transaction management recording to facilitate transaction recording activities. Due to the large number of customers using laundry services, this laundry business is overwhelmed with recording tasks, such as the incorrect conveyance of information about the duration of the laundry process and errors in calculating the laundry costs that should be paid by customers. Therefore, this research discusses laundry service using a qualitative method, where the data used is obtained from interviews with relevant informants and direct observations at PAS Laundry. The results of this research are expected to help customers in viewing laundry status and assist employees in recording transactions between customers and PAS Laundry to avoid errors in recording.

Abstract

Hosana Store Salatiga is a store that sells various office stationery, photocopy and manymore. Hosana Store has many problems, including note recording and inventory management. This is because the business process at Hosana Store is still conventional. Therefore, this research aims to design a web-based information system to assist in data management and note recording. This research utilizes a qualitative method with the assistance of Figma to create designs using a prototype approach. With this design, a web-based information system will be developed to help with data management and note recording at Hosana Store Salatiga, preventing errors in its management.

Abstract

CV. Suien Insan Persada is a wood processing company whose production uses logs as the starting material. The wood is then processed into wood sheets for furniture manufacturing companies and shipped overseas. This wood industry is located in Kab. Boyolali, Central Java. CV. Suien Insan Persada has not used adequate information technology. Data processing carried out by the production department produces manual reports that are given and managed directly by the administration section. This method makes filing more difficult to manage because manual reports in the form of writing on paper are easily damaged, and there is a risk of data being lost. The problems that occur in CV. Suien Insan Persada needs a solution to make CV easier. Suien Insan Persada in making a report to resolve the above problems. The solution to overcome the problem is utilizing Information Technology (IT) with a good strategic plan by creating an information system architecture in the form of TOGAF ADM. TOGAF ADM was chosen because it has a detailed and open-source framework that can be used by CV. Suien Insan Persada to build an Enterprise Architecture (EA) that suits the needs. Besides that, TOGAF has the advantage of being flexible and open source. The results showed that TOGAF ADM could produce IS/IT strategic plan documents expected to solve the problems faced by CV. Suien Insan Persada.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin modern membuat teknologi informasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Teknologi informasi dapat membantu menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini mengambil objek penelitian yaitu Kantor UPPD Samsat. Beberapa permasalahan yang muncul yaitu juru parkir kewalahan karena juru parkir hanya berjumlahkan dua orang saja, samsat masih menggunakan sistem parkir secara manual, tidak ada kejelasan transparansi retribusi parkir yang masuk ke juru parkir serta belum adanya laporan pendapatan retribusi parkir yang disajikan secara rinci baik pelaporan secara mingguan atau bulanan. Diciptakannya E-parking, yaitu sistem pelayanan parkir yang dirancang untuk mengimplementasikan parkir yang aman, nyaman, dan transparan. Tujuan dibuatnya SIPARK menjadi solusi untuk penetapan tarif progresif sehingga perselisihan antara juru parkir dan masyarakat dapat dihindari, mengatasi kebocoran retribusi, meminimalisir adanya oknum curang yang tidak membayar parkir karena tidak adanya palang parkir, pengaturan parkir menjadi lebih tertata, serta petugas parkir menjadi lebih profesional dalam menjalankan tugasnya dan bekerja lebih efisien. Pendekatan Research and Development untuk menciptakan produk sistem informasi serta menggunakan sistem SDLC dengan model Waterfall. Sistem dibuat menggunakan basis data MySQL, menggunakan framework codeIgniter. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan flowchart, use case, class diagram, Implementasi sistem berupa implementasi data base, implementasi user interface, implementasi report. Pengujian sistem menggunakan blackbox dan menunjukkan nilai berhasil sehingga sistem direkomendasikan untuk dapat digunakan pada objek penelitian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan keuntungan pada UMKM Royal Petshop & Exotic Store di Salatiga melalui perencanaan strategis SI dengan menggunakan metode Ward dan Peppard. Studi kasus ini akan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan perusahaan dan mengidentifikasi peluang peningkatan melalui penerapan SI. Studi kasus ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana perencanaan strategis sistem informasi dapat membantu UMKM dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan keuntungan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan berharga bagi UMKM lain dalam memanfaatkan sistem informasi untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan berharga bagi UMKM lain dalam memanfaatkan sistem informasi, sehingga berdampak positif pada profitabilitas perusahaan.

Abstract

Letters archiving is the process of receiving, collecting, maintaining letters in a structured manner by an agency, however, the process of filing letters at the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga still has problems such as recording letter archive data that still uses a letter agenda book which sometimes occurs errors in recording, archival document storage which is physically stored on a mailing cabinet which is prone to being lost, scattered, or damaged and the large number of existing documents causes employees to need extra time and effort to look for them. With the Letter Archive Information System designed using the prototype method, it allows employees to take part in the design of this system by providing opinions and suggestions on system design so that the results will be more optimal, maximum and can be a solution to the problems that exist in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Satuan Pendidikan Non Formal (SPNF) Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) Salatiga.

Abstract

The TEBAK (Teman Bermain Anak) Community is a social organization focused on children's education through educational games. However, it currently lacks a centralized information platform that allows members and the public to easily access information about activities, programs, and community developments. The absence of an effective information medium hinders both the dissemination of information and broader community participation. This study aims to design a website interface that supports TEBAK’s efforts in information sharing and community engagement. The design process adopts the Goal-Directed Design (GDD) method, an approach in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) that emphasizes user needs and goals. The design stages include research, modeling, requirements, refinement, and support. In the support phase, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was used to evaluate usability and user satisfaction. The testing results showed that the design received a score of 89.65 from community members and 88.55 from external stakeholders. These scores fall into the “Acceptable” category, with a Grade of “A” and an Adjective Rating of “Excellent.”
