Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the process of granularity, character, differences, and the value of character education that is in the novel Air Mata Tuhan by Aguk Irawan MN into the movie Air Mata Surga directed by Hestu Saputra using the theory of ecranization because ecranization is the only key to dissect the problem on the filmed novel. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research type, with qualitative approach. The subject or source of data used in this study is a novel document titled Tears of God by Aguk Irawan and a film titled Air Mata Surga directed by Hestu Saputra along with the transcript of the film. The instrument or research tool is the researcher himself. Data analysis technique using the theory of ekranisasi through comparison between the novel Air Mata Tuhan by Aguk Irawan with the film Air Mata Surga directed by Hestu Saputra. The validity of this research data is done with in-depth description and triangulation. The results of the research resulted in the process of ecranization that occurs on the elements of plot and character that is there is shrinkage, addition, and change varies. Differences in novels and movies are caused by the appearance of a story whose purpose is for the story to flourish and to vary. And lastly there are 4 grades of character education contained in novels and movies. The appearance of the value of character education because of the conflict that occurs is a story that has relevance to life in society in general. Keywords: Ekranisasi, Novel, Film.

Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills through the development of the SAVIBeL learning model by taking into account the characteristics and learning principles of students with special needs with disabilities in higher education. This research is motivated by the learning needs of students with disabilities, especially in terms of providing appropriate educational services for them. Apart from the needs of students, it is also motivated by the needs of lecturers as teachers of students with special needs requiring reference learning models which can be accepted not only by students with special needs but also by regular students. This research method uses research and development to develop the SAVIBeL model in learning language skills which includes the syllabus and lesson plans. This study also uses qualitative methods to observe various phenomena that occur and the techniques used are participatory observation techniques and quantitative methods to test the effectiveness of the model. Through research and development methods in developing learning models through analysis of the needs of students and lecturers. The results showed that the role of developing the SAVIBeL model in improving productive language skills, especially speaking skills. The SAVIBeL learning model developed has six learning components, namely syntagmatic learning steps consisting of preliminary, core and closing activities, social systems, reaction principles, support systems, instructional impacts, and accompaniment impacts. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah grup tipe High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) berdasarkan gender sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi dosen untuk merancang perkuliahan materi grup yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa karena kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam memecahkan masalah grup tipe High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara berbasis tugas. Wawancara tersebut mengungkap kesalahan mahasiswa berdasarkan prosedur analisis Newman yang dibedakan menjadi lima tipe kesalahan, yaitu reading error (kesalahan membaca), comprehension error (kesalahan memahami), transformation error (kesalahan dalam transformasi), process skills error (kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses), encoding error (kesalahan pada notasi). Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara dan tes masalah grup. Untuk mengecek validitas data dilakukan triangulasi. Adapun triangulasi yang dilakukan adalah triangulasi waktu. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan prosedur analisis Newman yang dibedakan menjadi lima tipe kesalahan, yaitu reading error (kesalahan membaca) sebesar 7 %, comprehension error (kesalahan memahami) sebesar 20 %, transformation error (kesalahan dalam transformasi) sebesar 20 %, process skills error (kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses) sebesar 36 %, dan encoding error (kesalahan pada notasi) sebesar 17 %.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah SMA Al Furqon Driyorejo di Kabupaten Gresik. Masalah mitra adalah kesulitan memvisualisasikan bangun ruang dalam pemecahan masalah, karena kurangnya informasi dan pengetahuan tentang adanya software cabri 3d yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan tersebut serta belum memiliki keterampilan dalam menggunakan software cabri 3d. Solusi yang dapat ditawarkan adalah memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan tentang software cabri 3d dalam pemecahan masalah bangun ruang, pelatihan pengunaan software cabri 3d dalam memvisulisasikan bangun ruang kepada guru mitra serta mengadakan pendampingan penggunaan software cabri 3d dalam pemecahan masalah bangun ruang. Dan target luaran yang diharapkan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan tentang software cabri 3d dan peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan software cabri 3d dalam memvisualisasikan bangun ruang untuk pemecahan masalah. Metode pelaksanaan yang dipakai adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil capaian pengabdian ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mita sebesar 53 % dan adanya peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan software cabri 3d dalam memvisualisasikan bangun ruang untuk pemecahan masalah sebesar 60 %.

Abstract

Laki-laki Pemanggul Goni" by Budi Darma is one example of existentialism in literature. This literature work shows freedom, love, guilt, failure, alienation and death. The aim of this descriptive qualitative study was describing the concept of existentialism in this short story based on the six main topics of the story. Freedom topic was reflected in; there are five hunters, including him, Karmain's father. The five of them entered the woods together, and then saw a wild boar running fast, bumped into some bushes. In order to chase the boar, they splited up into different directions. One of his four friends accidentally shot Karmain's father, or intentionally shot him, nobody knows. Love topic is reflected in; when Karmain arrived back at his apartment, the raggedy man was already inside, sitting on a prayer mat, chanting the holy verses, while his gunny was next to him. Guilt was reflected in; Karmain stared at her mother's photo for a long time, then unconsciously, he sobbed. Her mother had once told him that at certain times there would be a raggedy man, visiting the sinners. The duty of the raggedy man was taking lives then put his victim's life into the gunny. Failure was reflected on; when the Karmain was on the road, the raggedy man didnot exist. The wind was still blowing hard. A black dog, big and tall, watched for a moment, and then crossed the street, and halfway down the road stopped, watched the other again, then ran toward the darkness. Then came dog howls, howls of pain, and howls of death. Alienation wass reflected in; In the lonely time, the raggedy man must be standing in the middle of the road, and when the streets are crowded, the burlap shoulder stands on the sidewalk, not far from the bushes, which when it is quiet and the wind is loud, it always makes the sounds which is very heart-wrenching. Death wass reflected in; almost a quarter of the houses in the village buried in flames, and two paralyzed men died, trapped by flames. Keywords: Existentialism, literature work

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang mengkaji wacana self improvement dengan model Teun Van Dijk baik yang tersirat maupun yang tersurat dalam curahan pendapat Syarilla Asri yang disalurkan dalam bentuk tertulis pada buku “Yang Sering Bilang Gapapa, padahal Berantakannya Luar Biasa”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterkaitan konteks sosial yang mana menghubungkan alasan penulis memproduksi suatu wacana dengan perkembangan di masyarakat. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah baca, catat, dan studi pustaka. Peneliti menemukan bahwa konteks sosial menghubungkan alasan penulis memproduksi suatu wacana. Dengan ini self Improvement berkaitan erat dengan realita kesehatan mental. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan fakta yang berkembang dalam masyarakat, dengan memuat dan membahas bagaimana quarter life crisiss berubah menjadi kekuatan baru dalam menghadapi kehidupan yang penuh dengan kejutan, bagaimana self improvement bisa terbentuk pada diri individu, bagaimana luka membentuk diri menjadi lebih kuat dan lebih berkualitas. Hal ini selaras dengan fenomena nyata yang terjadi di masyarakat.
