Abstract

This paper deals with the concept of Islamic education which has been implemented in moral education at the Islamic high school of Alkhaeraat Palu. It analyzes its concept, methods, as well as obstacles which have been confronted in this process of teaching Islamic morality. This study employs qualitative approach using case study as a method of inquiry. The result of study shows that moral education, which has been performed in this school, is based on moderate Islam, since a great deal of practical methods are employed in this process.Kata Kunci:    pembinaan akhlak, pendidikan Islam, keteladanan, pembiasaan, Madrasah Aliyah Akhaeraat

Abstract

Sayid Ahmad Khan is an Islamic modernist of  India. He is a typical figure who is very enthusiastic in combating illiteracy of  Muslims of India. Therefore, he tries to reinterpret the Islamic doctrines in accordance with the development of science and technology. However, because of  his radical Islamic thought,  he has to accept  criticism from conservative Muslims of India. This article tries to discuss his steps in encouraging Muslims of  India to positively welcome modernism ideas.Kata kunci : Pembaruan, Sayid Ahmad Khan, Islam

Abstract

The inculcation of character values ​​and wisdom in early childhood is a very urgent matter because, it is our shared responsibility that in children's daily lives will be reflected in the attitudes and behavior of children and how to deal with personal problems. Education as a process of intelligence through learning so that teachers and parents must be responsible for making a person not only know the values ​​of goodness alone, but can make the children realize the values ​​of virtue in daily life for the realization of tough characters and noble personality. Learning moderate Islamic character values ​​can be carried out properly and maximally when all parties. Cooperating and doing the same through a policy or regulation of school leaders, as a policy maker and the interests of an educational institution based on values. Basically learning activities, in addition to making students master competencies (material) that are targeted, are also designed to make students know, realize or care, and can internalize values ​​and make them behave in their lives.

Abstract

Abstract

The implementation of Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at SDIT Persis, Palu City lasted for two hours face to face using two systems, namely Muraja'ah and adding new memorization (ziyadah). 2) In learning Tahfidzul Qur'an juz 30 at SDIT Persis there are difficulties for students in the learning process including reading the Al-Qur'an, difficulty distinguishing similar verses, lack of doing muraja'ah, time factors, the influence of cellphones, and level of ability different students. 3) strategies applied by teachers to overcome difficulties in learning Tahfidzul Qur'an, namely interspersing learning the science of Tajweed in each Tahfidz lesson, emphasizing the differences in the next verse, optimizing muraja'ah activities before depositing additional memorization, teaching how to manage time, prohibiting bringing cellphones to school and give support.

Abstract

This research analyzes the Multicultural Islamic Religious Education Learning (MIREL) at SMKN 1 Poso in building religious harmony as a conflict resolution. Conflict socio-religious become a critical problem regarding diversity in schools and society. Meanwhile, Islamic religious education provided in schools does not prioritize a multicultural perspective, which includes the practices of different religions and other cultures. This study uses qualitative field research with a case study approach and data analysis, according to Miles and Huberman. Results show that this school carries out the MIREL formally-textual and informally-textual. Learning formally-textual is held through three stages. At the beginning stage, teachers contextualize the values of example and self-control through exemplary stories from the prophets. In the main stage, the teachers integrate the values of tolerance, harmony, democracy, unity, concern, and justice by presenting material that includes faith, morals, jurisprudence, and the history of Islamic culture. Teachers instill multicultural values of cooperation and responsibility in the closing stage by assigning group tasks. The school holds informally textual learning through the Religious Saturday program collaboration in cross-cultural, socio-religious, and humanitarian activities. This research has implications for strengthening the MIREL in schools to build sustainable religious harmony among students and society in the post-conflict area.
