Abstract

This research discussed about lecturer competence in Akubank ICM Cantrika Mitra Medan of knowledge to develop increase the competence, namely by increasing education and training for lecturers who are still considered less competence. This study used quantitative methods, with questionnaires over 50 population. The Lecturer's performance is influenced by a number of factors, including (1) internal factors and (2) external factors. From the data found, motivation and locus of control tend to be "high" (53.33%). The average value of the overall cognitive abilities of lecturers is 81.92. Motivation and locus of control directly influences the performance of permanent lecturers. In other words, the better the support of motivation and locus of control, the higher the performance of permanent lecturers. Motivation and locus of control directly influence the performance of lecturers, all indicators in cognitive abilities are categorized as good, with indicators of the motivation of aspects of experience, skills and evaluations said to be good in constructing the variable motivation and locus of control.

Abstract

This  study  aims to determine the impact  of  employee  leadership  and  team  member exchange through organizational citizenship behaviour on the employee performance of  foreign  life  insurances.  This  research  uses  the  purposive  sampling  method  for selection.  One hundred  sixty  respondents  are  participating  in the  research used to test the model studied. The data is collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using the SEM AMOS program. This study showed that servant leadership positively affects  organizational  citizenship  behavior,  team  member  exchange,  and  employee performance. While team member exchange has a positive and significant impact on organizational  citizenship  behavior,  team  member  exchange  has  a  negative  and significant effect on employee performance. Subsequently, organizational citizenship behavior positively and significantly impacts employee performance. The mediating effect  indicated  that  team  member  exchange  and  servant  leadership  influence organizational  citizenship  behavior  and  affect  employee  performance.  The  study's results  imply  that  when  employees  perform  beyond  their  jobs  (organizational citizenship behavior roles) and engage in team member exchange, they have quality social  communication  with  the  workgroup  members.  Additionally,  employees  who work under servant leadership can develop strong personal bonds. Employees with low  levels  of  autonomy  in  their  work  can  improve  performance  if  mediated  by organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see: Relationship Readiness To Changes And Organizational Support with Work Stress in Civil Servants Of The Information Service Kutacane Southeast Aceh. This study was conducted on 99 civil servants with total sampling techniques. Data retrieval by scale method is the scale of readiness to changes, the scale of organizational support and the scale of work stress. Analyze data using Multiple Regression. The results showed; 1.There is a very significant relationship between readiness to change and organizational support with work stress. Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. 2. There is a very significant negative relationship between readiness to changes and work stress. This means that the higher the readiness to changes, the lower the work stress. 3. There is a very significant negative relationship between organizational support and work stress. This means that the higher the organization's support, the lower the work stress. variable readiness to changes and organizational support contributed to work stress by 32.4%. Separately, readiness for change contributed 20.8% to high low work stress, while organizational support contributed 19.8% to high low work stress. From these results, it is known that there are still 67.6% influence of other variables on work stress, where other factors in this study are not seen, including factors of working conditions, ambiguity, interpersonal factors, career development and organizational structure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the entrepreneurial behavior of MSMEs (ministry of micro small & medium enterprises) in the Medan Kota District is influenced by the family environment and entrepreneurship education. This study applies descriptive research and a quantitative approach. Multiple linear regression with SPSS is used to measure results. The population of this study consists of 99 MSMEs in Medan Kota District. The questionnaire method is used for sampling. The t test and the coefficient of determination (R2) are used to check the hypotheses. Data analysis techniques using instrument test, classical assumption test, statistical test, and hypothesis test. Based on the research findings, it is known that there are two things that are true, the family environment influences the entrepreneurial behavior of MSMEs in Medan City District; the more conducive the family environment is for MSMEs, the more likely MSMEs are to exhibit entrepreneurial behavior, and entrepreneurship education influences MSME entrepreneurial behavior in Medan Kota District; the more knowledge MSMEs acquire from entrepreneurship education, the more likely MSMEs are to do so.

Abstract

Research on the relationship between Servant Leadership (SL) and Team Member Exchange (TMX) has been carried out. At the same time, the basis for this relationship and the mechanism and conditions are still minimal and poorly understood by many people. The methodology that we use in this study is a meta-analysis method by searching for empirical research with the help of Google and also Researchgate through the keyword Leadership that was selected at first. Then, sort out the discussion that focuses on Servant Leadership and Team Member Exchange (TMX) research as concepts and the relationship between variables, and then summarise them. This summary describes the importance of Servant Leadership and Team Member Exchange (TMX) mechanisms in improving Performance. By providing a nuance of understanding about how Servant Leadership (SL) and Team Member Exchange (TMX) can play a role in one's work so that they can help the company or organization in its development so that it can make decisions that are beneficial to the performance of employees and their organization. In the end, we provide some interesting views and suggestions for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product innovation and entrepreneurial marketing on the competitive advantage of SME in Medan Tuntungan District, North Sumatra. This type of research uses quantitative methods. The population of this study were all SME in Medan Tuntungan District, totaling 375 SME, and the number of samples obtained from calculations using the Slovin formula, namely 79 samples. The results obtained from this study are that partially product innovation has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage with a t-calculated of 2.895 and a t-estimated worth 1.99 so that the t-calculated> t-estimated (2.895> 1.99) and the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.025 <0.05). Likewise, the entrepreneurial marketing variable has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage with a t-calculated of 2.014 and a t-estimated worth 1, 99 so that the t-calculated> t-estimated (2.014> 1, 99) and a significance value smaller than 0.05 (0.019 < 0.05). While simultaneously, product innovation (X1) and entrepreneurial marketing (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of SME in Medan Tuntungan District with an F-calculated value of 4.027 and an F-estimated value of 3.12, so 4.027> 3.12 with a significance value of 0.022 < 0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian tangguh dan optimisme terhadap profesionalisme Polri di Satuan Lalu Lintas Kepolisian Resor Kota Besar Medan. Profesionalisme pada polisi adalah sikap, cara berpikir, tindakan, perilaku seorang polisi yang dilandasi ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya etika kepolisian dan ilmu kepolisian dalam memberikan pelayanan terbaik guna mewujudkan ketertiban, keamanan serta tegaknya hukum di masyarakat. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu ada pengaruh antara kepribadian tangguh dan optimisme terhadap profesionalisme Polri. Teknik sampling dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, sampel berjumlah 135 personel polisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala kepribadian tangguh, skala optimisme dan skala profesionalisme. Metode analisis data adalah regresi berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil determinan (Rxy) = 0,679 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, artinya ada pengaruh kepribadian tangguh dan optimisme terhadap profesionalisme Polri, semakin tinggi kepribadian tangguh dan semakin tinggi optimisme maka semakin tinggi profesionalisme Polri. Sumbangan kepribadian tangguh dan optimisme terhadap profesionalisme Polri sebesar 46,1%, dengan demikian masih terdapat 53,9% pengaruh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
