Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dapat diaplikasikan sebagai sumber energi alternatif berskala kecil seperti untuk rumah ataupun tempat ibadah. Surau Nurul Qur’an Nagari Sungayang membutuhkan listrik dalam setiap kegiatan ibadah. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya menjadi terganggu karena ada gangguan listrik hingga terjadi pemadaman listrik. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya cadangan listrik tambahan agar kegiatan ibadah dapat berjalan walau terjadi gangguan listrik. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan dalam pemanfaatan energi matahari melalui panel surya untuk catu daya listrik dapat menjadi sumber listrik tambahan bagi surau dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ibadah. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengujian, dan pemasangan sistem di surau. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah panel surya yang digunakan 180 WP dengan tegangan luaran 220 Volt yang dapat digunakan sebagai penerangan dan mengoperasikan sound system surau. Sistem catu daya listrik alternatif ini membantu kegiatan surau saat terjadi gangguan sekaligus mengurangi biaya operasional listrik surau. Harapan dari pengabdian ini adanya pengetahuan tambahan bagi pengurus surau dan masyarakat sekitar dalam pemanfaatan energi ini. Solar Power Plants (PLTS) can be applied as a small-scale alternative energy source such as for homes or places of worship. Surau Nurul Qur'an Nagari Sungayang requires electricity for every worship activity. However, in its implementation, it became disrupted because there was a power outage until there was a power outage. Therefore, it is necessary to have additional electricity reserves so that worship activities can run even if there is a power failure. This is the basis for the Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities, namely the use of solar energy through solar panels for electrical power supply can be an additional source of electricity for the surau in carrying out worship activities. This activity begins with needs analysis, design, testing, and system installation in the surau. The result of this PKM activity is that 180 WP solar panels are used with an output voltage of 220 Volts that can be used as lighting and operate the surau sound system. This alternative electric power supply system helps the surau's activities when there is a disturbance while reducing the operational costs of the surau's electricity. It is hoped that this service activity can provide knowledge for surau administrators and the surrounding community in the use of this energy.

Abstract

Kapal merupakan sarana yang digunakan nelayan untuk mencari nafkah dimana dalam pengoperasiannya masih menggunakan minyak. Hal ini sangatlah tidak menguntungkan mengingat bahan bakar semakin mahal. Sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk operasional kapal tidak sesuai dengan hasil tangkapan yang diperoleh nelayan. Masalah ini menjadi latar belakang dalam Program Kegiatan Masyarakat dengan judul pemanfaatan energi terbarukan untuk penerangan kapal nelayan di Korong Tiram Nagari Tapakih Kecamatan Ulakan Tapakih Kabupaten Padang Pariaman Sumatera Barat. Tingginya harga bahan bakar minyak dapat diatasi dengan penggunaan panel surya yang dipasang di atap kapal sebagai alat konversi energi sinar matahari ke energi listrik, kemudian energi ini disimpan dalam baterai sehingga dapat digunakan untuk penerangan kapal. Sistem energi terbarukan memiliki konstruksi yang mudah dirawat dan mudah digunakan oleh nelayan. Kegiatan ini telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif bagi kelompok nelayan. Semua komponen sudah berfungsi dengan baik dan bisa diterapkan pada kapal nelayan sebagai energi alternatif untuk penerangan. Diharapkan pembangkit energi surya ini mampu mengatasi permasalahan nelayan sebagai sistem penerangan kapal.

Abstract

Daerah Pesisir Selatan Merupakan daerah yang dikenal dengan pantainya yang indah khususnya Tarusan. Masyarakat disana menjemur ikan masih secara tradisional seperti ditepi jalan. Masalahnya matahari tidak selalu bersinar dengan cukup setiap harinya. Namun pada saat sekarang ini masyarakatnya masih menggunakan proses penggeringan yang dilakukan secara tradisional dengan memanfaatkan panas dari matahari sebagai pengering yang memanfaatkan panas dari matahari sebagai pengering yang memanfaatkan waktu yang sangat lama dan kurang higienisnya proses tersebut yang biasanya dilakukan pada tempat terbuka yang dapat merusak ikan asin karena terkena debu. Seiring perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat terutama dibidang mikrokontroller membuat penulis tertarik untuk memanfaatkan teknologi mikrokontroller dalam merancang Sistem Monitoring. Pengering ikan asin agar dapat di monitoring dari jarak jauh secara realtime dengan menggunakan antarmuka Blynk pada Smartphone. Perancangan dan pembuatan alat menggunakan mikrokontroller arduino mega328 dapat mengeringkan ikan asin dengan menggunakan alat pengering berupa box yang telah dirancang dan dibuat bisa mengetahui kadar kelembabannya. Perangkat ini terdiri dari heater sebagai pemanas, kipas dc sebagai sirkulasi udara, ardiuno uno sebagai kontroller, DHT22 mengukur suhu dan kelembapan pada ruang pemanas dan buzzer sebagai alarm. Perangkat ini bekerja secara otomatis, jika suhu mencapai 30⁰C/20⁰C maka pemanas akan mati dan kipas menyala untuk mensirkulasikan udara. Saat kelembapan 40% maka alarm akan berbunyi menandakan sebagian ikan telah kering. Hasil dari penelitian perangkat ini sudah bekerja sesuai dengan yang dirancang.

Abstract

Through a thorough analysis using Net Present Cost (NPC) over a 20-year period, this research presents a comprehensive and economically optimized solar panel design methodology. The study examines two different PV system configurations: On-Grid PV and Off-Grid PV, using sophisticated simulation and analytical techniques with the aid of HOMER Pro software. The simulation results offer compelling new information about these systems' economic viability. The simulation results in an NPC value of IDR 31,386,360,- for the Off-Grid PV configuration. The On-Grid PV system, in contrast, exhibits a significantly lower NPC value of IDR 8,903,329,- emphasizing its superior economic performance. This On-Grid PV system boasts a significant energy generation capacity of 5,012 kWh/year in addition to favorable cost efficiency. Notably, this is greater than the National Power Company's 1,186 kWh/year energy output. These results highlight the financial benefits of the On-Grid PV system and demonstrate its capability to provide affordable and sustainable energy solutions over a long period. The thorough analysis carried out in this study aids in the optimization of solar panel designs, offers insightful information for future sustainable energy projects, and emphasizes the crucial part that economic factors play in influencing the adoption of renewable energy technologies.

Abstract

With regard to vocational education, philosophy is the field that studies human life and thought. This study aims to explain how pragmatic philosophy analyzes vocational education, that is, education that focuses on work-ready outcomes. In this situation, pragmatic philosophy is considered a relevant theoretical foundation for guiding curriculum development and learning approaches in vocational education. The data collected in this study is collected through literary studies or research institutions of libraries. Literature sources come from journals on google scholar and scopus. There's a total of 150 relevant papers that are used to describe this penalty. After data collection, analysis and conclusions are made to produce a useful summary. The research discussed in this article shows that the philosophy of pragmatism provides a strong foundation for building vocational education that is responsive to the needs of the world of work.Kata kunci: Pragmatisme, Vokasi, Pendidikan

Abstract

Land over function is a change in the function of some or all land areas of the original function (as planned) into another function. These changes have a negative impact (problems) on the environment and potential of the land itself. One of these changes took place in West Pasaman Regency, especially on wet farms (rice fields) into oil palm plantations. It makes the production of rice fields decrease, and has an impact on the availability of rice for society. This research aims to see how much rice production is and how the availability of food (rice) for the community in the district of Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. Therefore, the availability of food, especially rice in the district of Luhak Nan Duo can be fulfilled and assured for the long term. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method which provide a real potrait of the variables obtained to get the real situation. The variables in this study are, land area, amount of rice production, number of inhabitants, and the rice needed percapita. The data collection techniques are, study document to find the population of the residents, interviewing the farmer to know how rice paddy management, and observation to find out the area of existing rice fields. The method of the data analize is using descriptive quantitative. The result of the research shows that the production of the rice in Luhak Nan Duo increased. But it has not fulfilled the needs of the residents in Luhak Nan Duo. It means that Luhak Nan Duo has not self-sufficient in rice yet.

Abstract

Technology developed rapidly along the times, various ways are done to make works easier. One of them is by utilizing artificial intelligence, likes the use of a webcam as a sensor in detecting an object through several stages of image processing. There was research on object recognition previously using three measurement parameters based on color, shape, and size of objects. It is used a webcam as the sensing sensor, and image processing is processed with python programming. In this article, writer described about image processing for the detection of objects used in the research. The results of this device have been tested and are able to detect objects properly based on predetermined color, shape and size. Object detection using a webcam can work properly according to what the author wants.
