Abstract

In the learning process Basic Electricity and Electronics material, students are constrained in understanding the subject matter, because it uses formulas that are difficult to understand without adequate supporting learning media. Besides the learning time Basic Electricity and Electronics material which is only available 4 hours per week, so that not all materials can be delivered optimally to students. Therefore learning needs to be supported by suitable and adequate media. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media based on mobile learning that is valid, practical and effective for Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used follows the Borg & Gall model which is arranged in several research steps. The instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire was given to material experts and media experts. Questionnaire to measure practicality is given to students and teachers of the subject matter. To measure the effectiveness of the Quasi experiment research design used by comparing student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the learning media based on mobile learning was declared valid, practical and effective for use in the Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the End User Computing Satisfaction variable on user satisfaction of the information system application. Recording and collection of customer water costs for PDAM Kota padang. This analysis uses independent variables, namely content, accuracy, format, easy of use, and timeliness. the application user satisfaction. Samples of this research are PDAM employees: billing, service, cashier, finance, IT and director directors and recording records. Samples were conducted using the proportionate stratified random method. Data collection was done by questionnaires distributed directly to respondents 78 questionnaires. Instead it was distributed to PDAM employees by measuring using a Likert scale after it was tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed would use a questionnaire questionnaire. Samples were taken at PDAM Kota Padang. Statistical methods used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the analysis of a data show: All instruments on EUCS simultaneously have an influence in recording and collection of water costs for PDAM customers. The use of EUCS has a significant effect on the recording and collection of customer water costs at PDAM Padang City.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of brainstorming strategies on students' creative thinking skills in workshop work subjects and technical drawing of class X students of Electronic Engineering at SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. The research design in this study is quasi-experimental. The instrument used was in the form of a matter of creative thinking skills tests that had been validated by an Expert, namely a lecturer majoring in Electronics Engineering. Validity test obtained the average value of validity of 0.85 which is in the valid category. Reliability test obtained Alpha Cronbach's value of 0.856 which is in the interpretation of the value of the pair very well. Because the questions are valid and reliable, the matter of creative thinking skills can be used. The results found the mean value in the experimental class (X TE1) 87.5 and the average value of the control class (X TE2) 74.0. After t-test, it was obtained that tcount> ttable so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the application of brainstorming strategies to creative thinking skills.          Keywords: Creative Thinking Skills, Brainstorming Strategies, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

Progress of the programming field allows to build Web-based applications. This research was conducted to design used car sales by web-based applications in CV. Singgalang Motor Padang. This application is built for ease in conducting sales, purchasing and financial reporting. The sales and purchase transaction of car units is conducted online so that customers and sellers do not need to come the showroom. Application design uses the Unified Modelling Language (UML) model, diagram use case, activity diagram and sequence diagram. The application is built using the PHP language (Hypertext Preprocessor) with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) as an additional language, while its editor uses SublimeText. Application uses JavaScript coding, the Framework CodeIgniter and MySQL as a database. The security techniques used in the application are encryption, session and delimiter permissions to each user. However this application has facilitated for customers in selling and buying cars, assisting transaction in browsing data collection, financial reporting, and sales reporting. Keywords: Information Systems, PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL

Abstract

Aplikasi pemilihan program studi masuk perguruan tinggi berbasis website dibuat untuk memberikan pilihan rekomendasi program studi. Sebelum dilakukan perancangan aplikasi, proses yang selama ini berjalan dalam menentukan pilihan program studi dilakukan oleh guru BK dengan melakukan wawancara langsung tanpa mengevaluasi hasil rekomendasi yang diberikan kepada siswa. Sistem pemilihan program studi dirancang menggunakan model perancangan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Untuk menghindari peluang kesalahan dalam proses memberikan hasil rekomendasi program studi, dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi yang mampu menjadi solusi dalam penentuan program studi berdasarkan bakat. Bakat tersebut diperoleh dari uji kepribadian berdasarkan teori topologi Hippocrates-Galenus dan total nilai rata-rata dari semester satu hingga semester lima. Penentuan bakat dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi tentang kepribadian tiap siswa menggunakan kuesioner digital berdasarkan jenis kepribadian siswa dalam bentuk fitur aplikasi. Penarikan kesimpulan dalam sistem pemilihan program studi ini menggunakan metode inferensi runut maju atau forward chaining. Sehingga hasil dari proses uji kepribadian dapat digabung dengan proses seleksi total nilai rata-rata dan dapat mengurangi kesalahan dalam penentuan program studi.

Abstract

Informasi terkait minat dan bakat tersebut sangatlah penting karena minat dan bakat bisa menjadi acuan berkenaan dengan jurusan dan karir untuk masa depan yang akan dibangun nantinya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan tes minat bakat. Tes minat bakat akan dibuat dengan sistem pakar, sistem yang berusaha mengadopsi pengetahuan manusia ke komputer dengan metode yang digunakan Certainty factor, metode yang menggambarkan tingkat keyakinan pakar terhadap masalah yang sedang dihadapi. Dengan cara menunjukkan kepercayaan dalam suatu hipotesis yang berdasarkan pada beberapa fakta atau gejala. Sedangkan informasi tentang minat bakat yang digunakan berdasarkan teori Multiple Intelligences. Dengan demikian informasi tersebut diimplementasikan dan diolah dengan Certainty factor untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi solusi tentang minat bakat seseorang.Kata kunci : Certainty Factor, Minat Bakat ,Multiple Intelligences, Sistem pakar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi pemilihan dosen pembimbing tugas akhir dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process. Sementara ini jurusan teknik elektronika dalam pemilihan dosen pembimbing dipilih oleh ketua program studi menggunakan cara konvensional dengan melihat kesesuaian judul dari tugas akhir mahasiswa. Guna menanggulangi masalah yang terjadi, diperlukannya sebuah sistem yang mampu memberikan solusi dalam pemilihan dosen pembimbing tugas akhir sesuai judul yang diajukan oleh mahasiswa lebih tepat. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari analisa masalah, analisis kebutuhan, implementasi dan pengujian. Sistem ini mengunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process yang memiliki penghitungan nilai konsistensi dalam menentukan tingkat prioritas kriteria. Hasil dari penelitian ini, sistem dapat memberikan rekomendasi alternatif keputusan dalam pemilihan dosen pembimbing dan dapat mengurangi kesalahan dalam pemilihan dosen pembimbing tugas akhir mahasiswa.

Abstract

A comparative study to find the optimal value required of digital filter design problem is given in this paper. In digital signal processing (DSP), designing an optimal filter is much preferred. Some of methods are based on approximation methods commonly. Genetic algorithm (GA) is a stochastic (random) searching method that mimics the metaphor of natural biological evolution to solve the problem, and in this case, about how to find optimal digital filter design. In its application, GA just need the evaluation function of the problem which will to be optimized. The digital filter structures in z-domain indicates the nonlinear problem where the z value is constrained by the stability. The genetic programming can be used, when the transfer function H[z]has transferred to evaluation function, and –1  z  1 as the solution bounds. The genetic programming simulation for solving digital filter problem is to produce the transfer function which has lowest order, stable and meet the prescribed tolerance settings (design criteria). One of the disadventages using this method is the larger computational loading. However, the result of this paper can be interpreted that the GA’s performance is different from the other methods in optimal digital filter design, especially in providing guarantees on fulfillment of all the design criteria.
