Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Frater Makassar dengan kelas XI IPA 1yang berjumlah 35 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian,.Motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket motivasi belajar yang dibagikan setelah pembelajaran selesai. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi oleh 2 orang validator dan angket motivasi belajar siswa diadaptasi dari angket motivasi belajar dari Arum dan Lutfi dalam bidang Kimia tahun 2012. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata angket motivasi siswa 80,74%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of innovative learning modules based on curriculum 2013 on improving student learning outcomes. The method of this research was purpose sampling which was conducted at the Santo Thomast-1 Medan Private High School which consisted of 30 students in the control and experiment class. The initial stages of this research were carried out by giving a pretest for both classes, then learning was carried out using innovative textbooks in the experimental class and chemistry books used in the target school for the control class. Based on the value of the analysis conducted posttest in the control class is 75.75 while in the experimental class is 87.5 the magnitude of the increase in the posttest is 54.25% in the experimental class while in the control class is only about 43.5%, it can be concluded that the use of innovative learning modules based on curriculum 2013 effective to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kompetensi guru kimia SMA di Distrik Merauke dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru kimia sma dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di 3 sekolah yang telah menggunakan kurikulum 2013 di distrik merauke, berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kompetensi guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran sebesar 1,5 termasuk kategori sangat kompeten, dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 1,39 termasuk dalam kategori kompeten dan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran sebesar 1,67 termasuk dalam kategori sangat kompeten. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan untuk keseluruhan aspek yang diteliti rata-ratnya adalah 1,52 termasuk dalam kategori sangat kompeten. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan kompetensi pedagogik guru kimia SMA di distrik Merauke dalam mengimplementasikan kurikilum 2013 sudah sangat kompeten.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an encouragement in students to be able to learn well, add skills and provide learning experiences. High learning motivation will improve learning outcomes. This research is quantitative research to determine students' learning motivation, student learning outcomes, and the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes in learning chemistry on Hydrocarbon material with the application of Chemsketch media. The research was conducted at SMAN 2 Merauke in Class XI IPA 1 with 28 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The research data was obtained by using learning outcomes tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The research data were analyzed descriptively and the results obtained were: (1) student learning outcomes with an average score of 81,86 with 25 students passed the test and 3 students not past the test, (2) students' learning motivation with an average score of 80, 86 with 11 people in the very high category and 17 people in the high category. Followed by quantitative data analysis to test the linearity of the data, the normality of the data, and the correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes with the Pearson bivariate correlation test. Abstract

Abstrak:  Pendidikan saat ini menuntut guru harus mampu mengembangkan penilaian terhadap peserta didik yang dapat mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) dan melaksanakan ujian berbasis komputer (CBT). Software Wondershare Quiz Creator dapat digunakan dalam pelaksanaan CBT. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada guru dalam menyusun soal HOTS, memberikan kemampuan kepada guru untuk dapat menggunakan software Wondershare Quiz Creator, dan mengaplikasikan soal ujian yang telah disusun ke dalam software Wondershare Quiz Creator. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada bagian akhir kegiatan diberikan angket respon peserta. Data respon peserta dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk memperoleh presentasi respon peserta untuk setiap aspek. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian ini, dapat disimpulkan antara lain (1) guru telah mampu menyusun soal HOTS, (2) guru mampu menggunakan software Wondershare Quiz Creator, (3) guru mampu menginput soal kedalam software Wondershare Quiz Creator, (4) antusias peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan, dan (5) respon peserta yang sangat baik lewat hasil angket respon peserta (materi 1 = 96,6%, materi 2 = 96,7%, dan software Wondershare Quiz Creator = 95,8%). Abstract:  Current education requires teachers to be able to develop assessments of students who can measure higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and carry out computer-based exams (CBT). Wondershare Quiz Creator software can be used in CBT implementation. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to teachers in compiling HOTS questions, giving teachers the ability to use the Wondershare Quiz Creator software, and to apply exam questions that have been compiled into the Wondershare Quiz Creator software. The method of implementing this service is preparation, implementation and evaluation. At the end of the activity a participant response questionnaire was given. Participant response data were analyzed descriptively to obtain a presentation of participant responses for each aspect. Based on the results of this dedication, it can be concluded that (1) the teacher has been able to compile HOTS questions, (2) the teacher is able to use the Wondershare Quiz Creator software, (3) the teacher is able to input questions into the Wondershare Quiz Creator software, (4) the participants' enthusiasm in following training activities, and (5) excellent participant responses through the results of participant response questionnaires (material 1 = 96.6%, material 2 = 96.7%, and Wondershare Quiz Creator software = 95.8%).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness of student centre learning (SCL) based experiment method to increase student achievement on topic acid-based solution, type of this research descriptive qualitative, this research was conducted in SMAN 16 Medan the sample that used in this experiment consist of two class which is grade XI IPA1 as experiment class that treated by using student centre learning and Grade of XI IPA 2 as a control class with about student centre learning-based experiment method. Data in this research got from pretest which is given before treated the method and posttest after treated the method. In experimental class, the mean before teaching treatment is = 34, while after giving treatment the mean is increase become 70. In controlled class, the mean before teaching treatment is = 29, while after teaching treatment it changes become 42. The study concludes that the SCL based experiment method is an effective method in the teaching of the acid-based solution to increase student achievement.

Abstract

Teacher competence is the roundness of knowledge, skills and attitudes that manifest smart and responsible actions in carrying out tasks as agents of learning. Teacher competencies consist of pedagogic competencies, social competencies, personality competencies, and professional competencies. This research focuses on teacher professional competence. Teachers' professional competencies are examined in 3 aspects namely mastering the material, mastering basic competencies, and developing learning materials that are creatively influenced. This research is a descriptive study to get a picture of the professional competence of Senior High School chemistry teachers in Merauke District. The study was conducted in 3 schools, namely SMAN 1 Merauke, SMAN 2 Merauke and SMAS YPK Merauke. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Through descriptive data analysis the results are obtained: (a) mastering material with an average value of 1.6 being in the category of very competent; (b) mastering basic competencies with an average value of 1.5 very competent categories; and (c) developing learning materials that are creatively influenced by an average value of 1.25 competent categories. Average overall aspects of professional competence 1.45 competent categories. The results of the analysis indicate the professional competence of chemistry teachers in Merauke District is quite good, although there are things that need to be developed so as to improve the professional competence of teachers who have.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze student motivation in learning process teach by using Chemsketch. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, this research conducted in SMAN 2 Merauke in Papua. Technic that used to get the data using purpose sampling, total population are 28 students in Grade X IPA 2. The data in this research collected using questionnaire that given for student after finish learning process by using software chemsketch on topic hydrocarbon by giving checklist in every item. Based on data analysis, the result only three categorized that got from research, first are 11 student (39.28%) \categorized very high motivation, second are 16 students (57.14%) categorized high motivation , and the third is 1 student (3,5%) categorized medium. From the result showed that the use of chemsketch able to motivate student to learn chemistry especially hydrocarbon topic and for teacher can used as an alternative media for teaching.

Abstract

Pembelajaran harus di dukung oleh dosen yang kreatif untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran interaktif agar mahasiswa lebih aktif, kreatif dan inovatif selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap  mediapembelajaran interaktif  yang digunakan oleh dosen dengan menerapkan animasi 3D melalui Powerpoint, penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini dilakukan di universitas musamus jurusan pendidikan kimia. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 orang mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui google form yang dapat diakses oleh masing-masing mahasiswa.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan mahasiswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap animasi 3D yang digunakan oleh dosen dengan nilai  4,5 dari 5.0 dan dikategorikan sangat baik. Sehingga media pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan animasi 3D melalui powerpoint  dapat digunakan untuk menjadikan mahasiswa termotivasi untuk belajar di dalam kelas dan membantu pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan oleh dosen.
