Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the contribution of motivation to students' learning outcomes, the contribution of infrastructure to learning outcomes, and the combined impact of motivation and infrastructure on the learning outcomes of 10th-grade students majoring in Audio-Video at SMK Negeri 5 Padang in the subjects of workshop and technical drawing. The research method employed is a descriptive method with a correlational approach. The study population includes all 10th-grade students majoring in audio-video at SMK Negeri 5 Padang registered in the Academic Year 2021/2022, comprising 2 classes with a total of 72 students. The sample for this study consists of 42 students. The results of the first, second, and third hypothesis analyses indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is rejected. These findings indicate that individual motivation and infrastructure do not significantly contribute to learning outcomes. Furthermore, the analysis of the third hypothesis indicates that students' perceptions of combined motivation and infrastructure also do not significantly contribute to learning outcomes. Specifically, learning motivation contributes 2.3%, while infrastructure contributes 0.26% to students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Multisim software on students' learning outcomes in the subject of planning and installation of audio-video systems (PISAV) in class XI Audio Video Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a quantitative approach. The experimental design employs the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this research, we conducted a pretest on one sample group before treatment (condition before), and after the treatment, we conducted a posttest (condition after). The sample in this study is the XI TAV class at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. The research instruments used include pretest and posttest questions in objective form. The results of this study show that the condition after treatment has an average of 79.09, exceeding the condition before treatment, with an average of 50.18. These results suggest that the application of the PjBL learning model assisted by Multisim software has a significant impact on improving students' learning outcomes by 57.61%. Based on the hypothesis test results, it can be concluded that the t-value (21.59) is higher than the t-table (1.68), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). In conclusion, there is an improvement in students' learning outcomes in the PISAV subject after the application of the PjBL learning model assisted by Multisim software.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the extent of the contribution of study discipline and learning environment to the learning outcomes of Class X TAV students at SMKN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The research method employed is descriptive correlational, with a population of 49 students and a sample of 33 Class X TAV students selected randomly through Simple Random Sampling. Learning outcomes data were obtained from the Electronics Basics subject teacher, while data on study discipline and learning environment were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS program. The results of the research indicate that study discipline (X1) contributes 15.9% to learning outcomes, while the learning environment (X2) contributes 15.3%. Together, study discipline (X1) and the learning environment (X2) jointly contribute 21.3% to student learning outcomes (Y). These results suggest that higher levels of study discipline and a conducive learning environment are associated with better student learning outcomes. The implications of this research underscore the importance of efforts to enhance students' study discipline and create a conducive learning environment to improve their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education plays a vital role in developing students' potential. With the advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), innovations in education have evolved, particularly in creating more effective, inspiring, and motivating media, methods, and learning strategies. This research aims to develop a learning media using Articulate Storyline for the "Digital Circuits" material, targeting 11th-grade students in the Industrial Electronics Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The Research and Development (R&D) method used the 4-D development model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Validation by two material experts resulted in a score of 91.67%, categorized as "Very Valid," while media validation achieved an average score of 94.16%, also rated as "Very Valid." A practicality test with 15 students indicated a practicality rate of 87.90%, categorized as "Very Practical." These results suggest that the developed learning media is feasible for use in the classroom and effective in enhancing students' learning experiences.
