Abstract

Nursing students in the learning process will get in the classical learning and clinical practice. In switching between classical learning into clinical practice it needs for preparations and competency test before entering the practice field. One method of developing competency test in nursing is the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the OSCE method on the readiness for practice in the S1 study program of STIKes Kepanjen. This research uses quantitative methods with the quasi experimental design and pretest posttest design with control group approach. The competency of the intervention group is assessed by using OSCE method and the control group by using conventional methods. This study compares the students’ readiness and student’s learning motivation on the pretest and on the posttest after respondents do the clinical practice. The data obtained were analyzed using t test with significance of ρ <0.05. This study has shown that the average value of readiness of respondents who are tested by using the OSCE method is 61.69 with the significance of 0.00, while respondents who were tested with the conventional method have the average value of 56.8 with a significance of 0.148. The mean posttest of the intervention and control group differed significantly with p value 0.000. The conclusionn in this study found that there is an increase in the readiness for practice in S1 study program of STIKes Kepanjen in which the one who are tested by using the OSCE method is higher than non OSCE method.

Abstract

Each educational unit has a system to produce qualified graduates. Higher education system in Indonesia has four main stages namely input, process, output and outcomes. To produce quality outcomes, it is necessary to improve the learning process. One of the efforts to improve the learning process is by using the method of learning in accordance with the Competency Based Curriculum that is cooperative learning method, one of these methods that can be applied is cooperative learning method jigsaw. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning methods on motivation and student learning outcomes in Diploma Program Nursing of STIKes Kepanjen. This research method using quantitative method with quasi experimental design with pre-test-post-test, statistical test used is paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the provision of learning methods using cooperative type Jigsaw can affect student motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Humans as weak creatures must have strong principles in the life of this world. Students who do not have good motivation in learning, do not have enthusiasm for learning and are often frustrated with poor learning outcomes, this is due to students' lack of understanding of the meaning of life from a religious perspective. People with good spiritual intelligence will be good at responding to all things before, during, and after events. Teachers as educators have a role as good attitude or role models for their students. Therefore, this study wants to examine how the influence of the spiritual quotient of the teacher on the spiritual quotient of students. This research is a quantitative study using a crossectional approach. This study aims to determine how the influence of spiritual quotient on students' spiritual quotient. Collecting data using a questionnaire then analyzed. The research analysis using Wilcoxon with 95% significant values. This research was conducted at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Malang City in August 2020. The sample used was 75 respondents with a purposive sampling method of sampling. The results showed a very significant influence on the spiritual quotient of the teacher on the spiritual quotient of students with the number 0.003. So from the results of this study schools can apply spiritual education and apply it in their respective institutions Keywords Spiritual Quotient, Teachers, Students

Abstract

Covid 19 is a virus that can change global conditions in order to stay at home. Education and learning policies are also carried out at home, so-called home study. It is stressful for students, teachers and parents. The stress faced by students in online learning not only leaves them vulnerable to stress, but also diminishes their motivation to learn. The objective of this study was to determine the students' level of stress and motivation for online learning and to analyse the relationship between them. The method used as a cross-sectional with the last grade students of elementary school as population which is located in South Banyuwangi, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique and it was obtained 55 students as respondents. Collection of data used in the ESSA questionnaire for stress level and questionnaire on motivation to learn. The statistical test used in this study was Spearman's Rank, which was analysed using an apparatus with ρ 0.05. The results revealed that 80% of students had no stress and 83.6% had very strong motivation to learn. Statistical analysis of rank-spearman obtained ρ value = 0.011 with ρ value of <0.05, there was a significant correlation between stress levels and learning motivation in online learning with a close correlation score was 0,341 which was categorized as low correlation closeness. Positive parenting support and support is one factor that can reduce stress and increase student motivation to learn.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a must in a nation that has diversity in various things, especially religion. To support this, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia launched the Religious Moderation Village program. This program is based on the application of nine values of religious moderation, namely tawasuth (moderation), i'tidal (upright and proportional), tasamukh (tolerance), deliberation, al-ishlakh (improvement), qudwah (leadership/pioneering), muwathonah (love for the country), al-a'naf (non-violence), and i'tiraf al-'urf (friendliness to culture).  This study is qualitative descriptive, the research population is the community of Sidodadi village, Gedangan district. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews and observation, while data analysis used the Colaizzi approach. The results showed that of the nine values of religious moderation, four values have been implemented well in Sidodadi Village. The results showed that of the nine values of religious moderation, four values have been implemented well in Sidodadi Village, namely tasamukh (tolerance), tawasuth (moderation), muwathonah (love of the country), and i'tiraf al-'urf (friendliness to culture). The other five values, deliberation, al-a'naf (non-violence), i'tidal (upright and proportional), al-ishlakh (improvement), and qudwah (l leadership/pioneering), still face various obstacles in their application. This research provides an overview of the successes and challenges of implementing religious moderation values at the local community level.
