Abstract

As a tourist village, village development is not an easy thing. There is a lot of work and obstacles faced by the village government and the people of Melung Tourism Village. One of the obstacles faced is in terms of Human Resources (HR) management. So it is very important to develop their skills so they can revive their village and benefit from it. The next problem is that the Pagubugan tourist attraction is more famous than the Melung Tourism Village, and this is a challenge in itself for the Melung Tourism Village because many tourists are more familiar with Pagubugan than the Melung tourist village and other tourist packages are not well exposed. The Melung Tourism Village Social Media account is not managed well in terms of content, both photos and videos are less interesting so that it does not make users intrigued or curious enough to come directly to the tourist attraction. The Amikom University Lecturer Team held service activities for creative digital groups with the aim of increasing promotion through visual content in the Melung Tourism Village. The training provided can increase HR knowledge regarding techniques for taking and editing photos and videos that will be published on promotional media, this can be seen from one of the advantages of promotional media which is easier to go viral and reaches a wider community so that the Melung Tourism Village can be known to the wider community and able to compete with other tourist attractions in Banyumas Regency.

Abstract

Adaptation to new habits (new normal) must be implemented considering that people must continue their activities amidst the outbreak of Covid-19 transmission cases. Apart from the government and community organizations, awareness of prevention must be carried out by each individual even though they have been vaccinated. The purpose of this research is to create a 2D animation to socialize the application of the 5M health protocol used to prevent widespread transmission of Covid-19. The process of creating a 2D animation titled "Safe Family" is carried out in three stages. First, the pre-production stage includes defining ideas and concepts, writing scripts, storyboards, and audio recording. The production stage includes character creation, moving animation, inputting sound, and initial rendering (alpha test). The third step is the post-production stage, namely the final rendering. and evaluation (beta test). The results of the alpha test show the suitability of the idea, storyboard, and final rendering results. In addition, the results of beta testing show that on average 93.4% of respondents considered the 2D animation titled "Safe Families" to be appropriate for use as social media to prevent Covid-19 communication.

Abstract

Vehicle license plate recognition plays a vital role in intelligent transportation systems, parking management, and digital ticketing. However, conventional license plate recognition systems often face challenges related to lighting variations, viewing angles, and character distortions, which can decrease accuracy and efficiency, especially on mobile devices. This study aims to implement an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) framework, specifically EasyOCR, in a mobile application designed to read vehicle license plates in real time. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, which includes the stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The mobile application was built using Flutter, integrated with a smartphone camera for data input and EasyOCR for text extraction. The testing results demonstrate that the proposed system can accurately detect and recognize license plate characters with an average accuracy rate of 100%. The contribution of this study lies in the application of EasyOCR on mobile platforms through a structured SDLC approach, enhancing the practicality of OCR-based vehicle identification systems for real-world transportation and parking management applications.

Abstract

The birth of Game Based Learning take a new prespective to learing method while using a Game for learning proccess. This is a good opportunity for lecturer and theacher to increas and update their learning instrument that can be used. Some studies about game founded the approach of through the medium of games of the match learning in a significant way capable of effecting the improve achievement , the motivation to study , and the level of satisfaction in the style of of students to study. This study focused on increasing students nationalism through the game base learning in learning procces for Senior high students where players trained to make a deccision, analyze, and decide own attitude in the games. This game based learning research apply for learning nationalism lessons consists of four phases, design phase, data collection stage, the analysis and discussion stage phase, the documentation and research results phase. To stage of game design base learning with learning and analysis mapping game mechanics for serious games analysis (LM-GM) as the mapping of learning in the game. The purpose through this game is learning from the game play can be shown that the approach proposed effectively gives understanding of learning that given. In addition, also found that game is can help students studies learning the history.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pelaksana dari Universitas Amikom Purwokerto berkolaborasi dengan mitra yaitu Kopine Inyong dan Lung Coffee, didampingi oleh BUMDes Alam Lestari, bertujuan untuk mengangkat brand kopi lokal Melung dengan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas produk kopi. Metode peningkatan kapasitas produk kopi dilakukan dengan menerapkan inovasi berupa pengadaan alat produksi yang lebih mutakhir, antara lain alat roasting, grinder, dan alat pengemasan sachet. Sementara metode untuk meningkatan kualitas dilakukan dengan menciptakan produk turunan kopi berupa kopi rempah, kopi krimer, dan kopi gula aren. Visibilitas merek dilakukan dengan membuatkan desain logo dan kemasan sehingga lebih menarik. Selain itu, pelatihan dan pendampingan digital marketing juga dilakukan dalam upaya menjangkau konsumen di pasar yang lebih luas. Pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan terdiri dari delapan kegiatan yaitu: Sosialisasi, Pelatihan Public Speaking, Pelatihan Desain Logo dan Kemasan, Pelatihan Diversifikasi Produk Turunan Kopi, Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Pemasaran Online, Pendampingan Peningkatan Bahan Baku, Pendampingan Pengujian Label Nutrisi, Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Kemasan Sachet. Hasil kegiatan yaitu mitra Kopine Inyong dan Lung Coffee telah berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas produk kopi melung, serta adanya pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan marketplace. Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; kopi melung; digital marketing AbstractCommunity service activities conducted by the team of Amikom Purwokerto University in collaboration with partners Kopine Inyong and Lung Coffee, accompanied by BUMDes Alam Lestari, aim to raise the local coffee brand Melung by increasing the capacity and quality of coffee products. The method of increasing the capacity of coffee products is carried out by implementing the product equipments, including roasting equipment, grinders, and sachet packaging equipment. Meanwhile, the method to improve quality was carried out by creating coffee derivative products such as spice coffee, creamer coffee, and palm sugar coffee. Brand visibility was enhanced by creating logo and packaging designs to make them more attractive. In addition, digital marketing training and assistance were also conducted in an effort to reach consumers in a wider market. The training and mentoring consisted of eight activities, namely: Introduction of the Program, Public Speaking Training, Logo and Packaging Design Training, Coffee Derived Product Diversification Training, Online Marketing Training and Assistance, Raw Material Improvement Assistance, Nutrition Label Testing Assistance, Sachet Packaging Training and Assistance. The results of the activity are that Kopine Inyong and Lung Coffee partners have succeeded in increasing the production capacity and quality of melung coffee products, as well as digital marketing through social media and marketplaces. Keywords: community service; kopi melung; digital marketing
