Abstract

Abstract. This research aims at investigating the differences of  1) the learning outcomes on science between students treated using an eassy test on concept mapping and those treated using an objective test, 2) between students having convergent cognitive style and those having divergent one, 3) between students having convergent cognitive style treated using the essay test and those treated using the multiple choice one, 4) between students having divergent cognitive style treated using the essay test and those treated using the multiple choice one, 5) the relational effect  between formative assessments and cognitive style towards the learning outcomes. The study was conducted at elementary schools in Metro Lampung, the sample of which comprises 124 students taken randomly. The findings show that the learning outcomes of students 1) treated using an essay test are higher, 2) having convergent cognitive style are higher, 3) having the convergent style treated using an essay test are higher, 4) having divergent style treated using an essay test are lower, and 5)there is a relational effect between the formative assessments and the cognitive style on the learning outcomes.   Abstrak; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki perbedaan 1) hasil belajar pada ilmu pengetahuan antara siswa yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan tes eassy pada pemetaan konsep dan mereka yang mendapat perlakuan menggunakan tes obyektif, 2) antara siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif konvergen dan divergen, 3) antara siswa memiliki gaya kognitif konvergen diperlakukan dengan menggunakan tes esai dan mereka diperlakukan dengan menggunakan pilihan ganda, 4) antara siswa memiliki gaya kognitif divergent diperlakukan dengan menggunakan tes esai dan yang diperlakukan dengan menggunakan pilihan ganda 5) efek relasional antara penilaian formatif dan gaya kognitif terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah dasar di Metro Lampung, sampel yang terdiri dari 124 siswa diambil secara acak. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa 1) diperlakukan  dengan menggunakan tes esai lebih tinggi, 2) memiliki gaya kognitif konvergen lebih tinggi, 3) memiliki gaya konvergen diperlakukan  dengan menggunakan tes esai lebih tinggi, 4) memiliki gaya yang berbeda diperlakukan menggunakan tes esai lebih rendah, dan 5) ada efek relasional antara penilaian formatif dan gaya kognitif pada hasil belajar.

Abstract

Instrumen dalam bimbingan konseling diperoleh dari data tentang kondisi siswa. Secara khusus bertujuan untuk memahami kondisi siswa seperti potensi dasarnya, bakat dan minatnya, kondisi diri, dan lingkungannya serta masalah-masalah yang dihadapinya. Adapun komponen- komponen yang tekait dan sinergi dengan aplikasi instrumentasi adalah instrumen, responden pengguna dan media. Adapun penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran dan kegiatan bimbingan konseling sangat mungkin dilakukan, baik berbasis non teknologi maupun berbasis teknologi. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang beragam dalam pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling akan sangat membantu konselor dalam pemberian bimbingan dan konseling kepada kliennya. Kecanggihan media teknologi sekarang seperti CD, Film, Vidio, facebook, email, dari you tube, persentase multimedia dan lain sebagainya akan memudahkan konselor memberikan tampilan materi kepada siswanya atau kliennya.

Abstract

The research conducted is entitled "The Effect of Prohexadione-Ca Concentration on Potato Plant (Solanum tuberosum) G0 Medians Cultivar Tubers in Medium Plains". This study aims to determine the effect of Prohexadione-Ca concentration on potato plant (Solanum tuberosum) G0 Medians Cultivars tubers in Medium Plains and to determine the concentration of Prohexadione-Ca to produce the best quality starch content. This research was conducted at the Rancabango screen house, Tarogong Kaler District, Garut Regency, from July to October 2023. The research method used was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 treatments, namely Prohexadione-Ca concentration of 0 ppm (Control), 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm. The parameters measured in this study were two types of parameters, namely supporting and main parameters. Supporting parameters include chlorophyll content, photosynthesis rate, and stomatal conductance, while the main parameter is the potato tuber starch content. The benefits of this research are determining the best quality results of potato tubers from the aspect of potato starch content by planting with the best concentration of prohexadione. The study showed an effect on the potato tuber starch content by administering Prohexadione-Ca. The most effective administration of Prohexadione-Ca to produce the quality of potato tuber starch content in medium plains is at a concentration of 100 ppm with a starch content of 9.35%.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of change management in enhancing the pedagogical competence of university lecturers. It addresses the growing need for educational institutions, particularly Islamic universities, to adapt to evolving educational demands and improve teaching quality through effective change management strategies. A qualitative research design was used, combining interviews, document analysis, and direct observation for data collection. The findings reveal that implemented change management initiatives have positively impacted lecturers’ pedagogical skills, leading to improved teaching methods, curriculum innovations, and more flexible instructional practices. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges such as limited training opportunities and insufficient collaboration with other academic institutions remain. The study highlights the importance of strategic planning and ongoing change management in improving pedagogical competence and recommends establishing comprehensive training programs and more substantial collaborative efforts with external academic partners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas upaya Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Garut dalam menangani isu lingkungan, khususnya pengelolaan sampah, dengan menerapkan gerakan ekologi kewarganegaraan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah. Indeks Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup (IKLH) Kabupaten Garut mengalami peningkatan dari 56,06 poin pada tahun 2021 menjadi 62,31 poin pada tahun 2024. Selain itu, penanganan dan pengurangan sampah oleh DLH Garut mencapai 30% pada tahun 2024, meningkat dari 25% pada tahun 2020-2021. Pencapaian ini mencerminkan keberhasilan program-program yang diterapkan oleh DLH Garut serta kolaborasi dengan berbagai sektor

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of Islamic boarding schools in Jambi province in terms of infrastructure management. The research objective is to determine the infrastructure management system in developing Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province.The research method uses a qualitative approach. The sample in this study; Nurul Jalal Islamic boarding school, Tebo Regency City, Zulhijjah Islamic boarding school, Batang Hari Regency, Nurul Iman Islamic boarding school, Jambi City and as a research informant for Islamic boarding school leaders, madrasa leaders and staff who handle infrastructure management. Data collection technique using snowball sampling. Sampling technique using the method : interviews, documentation, observation. To test the validity of the data by using data triangulationThe research results are as follows; first, management of facilities and infrastructure in the development of Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province, the Islamic boarding schools as samples in this research are as follows; carry out planning, carry out implementation and organization, then carry out the process of procurement and inventory of facilities and infrastructure as well as the final stage of monitoring and evaluating the condition of infrastructure in an effort to develop Islamic boarding schools. All activities are oriented towards achieving goals, clarity and responsibility, administration, efficiency and consistency in the use of facilities and infrastructure. Second, the inhibiting factors in the process of managing facilities and infrastructure to develop Islamic boarding schools in Jambi province include; human resources, educational funds as well as the location and geography of Islamic boarding schools, while the supporting factors in managing facilities and infrastructure in developing Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province come from the culture of Islamic boarding schools and the principles possessed by Kiai as leaders of Islamic boarding schools. Third, the efforts made by Islamic boarding schools in managing facilities and infrastructure in developing Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province include; maximizing the allocation of the use of education financing funds for facilities and infrastructure, increasing human resources through training, collaborating with other institutions, collaborating with the private sector, collaborating with the government and the community. Fourth, a suitable management model for facilities and infrastructure in developing Islamic boarding schools in Jambi Province, the results of findings in the field show a model that is more suitable for developing Islamic boarding schools. The facilities and infrastructure management model is carried out using a strategic management model and at the beginning of activities uses the active management concept. This activity is influenced by the type and style of Islamic boarding school leadership. Apart from that, Islamic boarding school leaders view facilities and infrastructure as resources in the form of sources of strength in achieving a goal and as resources related to humans, finances and materials.
