Abstract

Hepatitis B is inflammation of the liver caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). HBV is a DNA virus that plays a role in virus replication through the process of reverse transcription. The curcuma rhizome against HBV reseptor with protein ID 1A7L and ID 1IUD using the Autodock Tools program. The 1A7L receptor showed that the curcumin compound had ?G of -8.05 kcal/mol and the value of inhibition constant (KI) of 1.26 µM, natural ligands had ?G of -8.17 kcal/mol and the value of KI was 1.03 µM, and Lamivudin as a comparative ligand had ?G of -7.02 kcal/mol and the value of the KI was 7.13 µM, while the result of the 1IUD receptor had ?G of -8.44 kcal/mol and KI value of 647.75 nM, natural ligand had ?G of -6.90 kcal/mol and KI value of 8.78 µM, and Lamivudin as a comparative ligand had ?G of -5.01 kcal/mol and the value of the KI was 211.47 nM. The absorption and distribution prediction results showed the curcumin compound had a Caco2 value of 20.07 nm sec-1, the percentage of HIA was 94.40% and plasma Binding Protein was 88.03%. The curcumin compound fulfills all Lipinski's is non-mutagenic and carcinogenic negative.

Abstract

Lactobacillus sp are gram-positive bacteria that cannot survive in acidic conditions, such as stomach acid conditions (pH 1.5- pH 2.5) so that a carrier is needed so that Lactobacillus sp can survive when colonizing the intestine. One way to protect Lactobacillus sp in acidic conditions is by encapsulation. The core material used for Lactobacillus encapsulation uses a mixture of Na-alginate and chitosan. The mixture formed then becomes microcapsules using an electrospinning device. One of the components of the electrospinning device is a syringe that provides pressure to form droplets that fall into a solution of CaCl2 and chitosan with a concentration of 1.2%; 1.6% and 2%. Lactobacillus sp. The encapsulated viability was tested for viability in simulated gastric acid (0.2% NaCl pH 1.2 and pH 3) for 1 minute, 60 minutes, and 120 minutes using the Total Plate Count (TPC) method. After the viability test was carried out, it was found that Lactobacillus sp. encapsulation results with a 2% chitosan matrix with the number of colonies in the simulated gastric acid pH 3 for 1 minute is 4x109 cfu / g, for 60 minutes 3x109 cfu / g and for 120 minutes is 1x9 cfu /g.

Abstract

Early introduction of education about environmental health, especially for elementary school children, is very important. This is because schoolchildren are one of the groups most vulnerable to health problems. This counseling aims to increase the awareness of students at SDN 2 Kersamenak on environmental health. The socialization activity was carried out by providing counseling through media flayers and education in the form of environmental health materials directly to students at SDN 2 Kersamenak. Analysis of the level of students' understanding was identified through a survey method using 10 multiple choice test items based on three factors, namely understanding the definition and benefits of environmental health, and understanding of the characteristics of a good environment. In this school total 82 students, while only 42 students filled out the questionnaire. The survey results showed that 97.6% of students already understood the importance of environmental health even before the counseling was carried out. However, this socialization activity can also be said to be successful, because there is an increase in the percentage of knowledge of SDN 2 Kersamenak students about environmental health.

Abstract

Gaya hidup tidak sehat seperti kebiasaan merokok, begadang, serta rendahnya kedisiplinan kehadiran masih banyak ditemukan pada pelajar tingkat menengah. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan kelelahan (fatigue), risiko anemia, dan penurunan performa akademik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Musaddadiyah Garut mengenai strategi membangun kebiasaan sehat dan disiplin melalui pendekatan Action Planning dan Habit Stacking. Metode yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan interaktif yang melibatkan 29 siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Musaddadiyah Garut sebagai peserta kegiatan. Evaluasi kegiatan  dilakukan menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 79,33% menjadi 92,61% setelah penyuluhan. Peningkatan paling tinggi terlihat pada indikator pemahaman cara mengatasi rasa lesu, penggunaan self-reward, serta penerapan habit stacking. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan interaktif mampu memberikan pemahaman praktis dan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa untuk mengelola kebiasaan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi siswa dalam membentuk perilaku hidup sehat dan disiplin guna menunjang keberhasilan akademik.

Abstract

Jajan merupakan suatu kebiasaan yang hampir semua orang pernah melakukannya. Salah satunya dengan membeli makanan di pedagang kalai lima dengan harganya yang murah, tapi rasanya nikmat. Umumnya konsumen tidak memperhatikan jenis kemasan yang digunakan oleh pedagang untuk mengemas produknya, sehingga bisa saja ternyata dapat mennyebabkan bahaya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pedagang kaki lima mengenai bahaya penggunaan kertas bertinta sebagai kemasan makanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei lokasi pedagang, pemberian pertanyaan, serta penyampaian materi melalui brosur. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pedagang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan menengah, namun tingkat pengetahuan terkait bahaya tinta pada kemasan masih rendah. Sebagian besar pedagang menggunakan kertas bekas bertinta karena alasan murah dan praktis, meskipun berpotensi menimbulkan risiko kesehatan akibat migrasi zat kimia berbahaya ke dalam makanan. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman pedagang, dan lebih dari separuh menyatakan kesediaan untuk beralih menggunakan kemasan yang lebih aman. Kegiatan ini diharakan berlanjut agar dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam melindungi kesehatan konsumen serta mendorong pedagang memilih kemasan yang lebih layak.
