Abstract

The research head for know find out the financial analysis of Batur sheep livestock in Banjarnegara Regency. The sample collection technique using a multistage random sampling. Respondents taken as many as 120 people and chosen at random. Data result has been analysis by descriptive. This result point out that value of NPV in amount of Rp. 1.023.719,31; B/C ratio 1,09; IRR 26,00% and investment return at two years. Result showed that Batur sheep livestock in Banjarnegara regency otherwise worthed in financial. The showed in NPV value more that zero that mean benefit accepted more than cost be taken out. B/C ratio value more than 1 means income more than expensive into get benefit. IRR value more than credit interest BRI applicable current in amount of 12,3% that mean profit income obtain more than bank interest effort is feasible to operate.

Abstract

UMKM merupakan unit usaha yang mendominasi kegiatan sektor ekonomi Indonesia, sehingga keberlanjutannya perlu dipertimbangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis modal sosial yang terbentuk untuk mencapai keberlanjutan usaha pada UMKM Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Juni - Juli 2021 di Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran, Gunungkidul. Alasan pemilihan lokasi penelitian karena UMKM berada di Kecamatan Patuk, daerah yang mendominasi produksi kakao di Gunungkidul. Informan berjumlah 12 orang yang terdiri atas pengurus, pengawas, manajer, anggota UMKM dan tim pembubukan kakao, dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Model analisis data menggunakan analisis model alir Miles dan Huberman dan di validasi dengan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modal sosial yang terbentuk dalam Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran terdiri atas bonding, bridging dan linking social capital. Seluruh modal sosial mencakup jejaring sosial, kepercayaan serta norma di dalamnya. Modal sosial yang terbentuk menunjang Triple Bottom Line (ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan) dalam kegiatan usaha. Hal-hal tersebut mampu menunjang terciptanya keberlanjutan usaha pada UMKM Griya Cokelat Nglanggeran.

Abstract

Usaha ternak sapi dalam pelaksanannya tidak terlepas dari risiko yang menyebabkan kerugian. Namun, kerugian tersebut dapat diminimalisir dengan mengikuti asuransi. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2020 di Kecamatan Getasan, Kabupaten Semarang. Lokasi penelitian dipilih dengan sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa lokasi penelitian sudah menjalankan program AUTS dan merupakan sentra sapi perah di Kabupaten Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis atribut yang menjadi prioritas untuk memperbaiki kinerja program AUTS dan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan peternak sapi perah terhadap program AUTS. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) dan Consumer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Hasil analisis IPA menunjukkan bahwa atribut yang masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan adalah ketepatan waktu pembayaran klaim dan tanggapan mengenai nominal harga pertanggungan. Hasil perhitungan CSI menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peternak secara keseluruhan adalah sebesar 96,1% yang berarti bahwa peternak merasa puas dengan program AUTS.

Abstract

Homemade salted egg production leading to one of agro-industry products has been identified as profitable, yet processing technology of salting needs to be improved. The objective of the study was to analyze the length of salting application of salted eggs, marketing reach, and association between the lengths of salting application with marketing reach. Forty respondents determined by purposive random sampling was carried out on agro-industry center of salted eggs in Brebes, Central Java. The primary data (length of salting and marketing reach) were collected by interview using questionnaire and observation. The levels of NaCl of salted eggs were measured by Argentometri Mohr method. The secondary data were collected by recording relevant documents. Data of length of salting and marketing reach were analyzed descriptively. Relationship between the length of salting and the marketing reach of salted eggs were analyzed using contingency tables with the X2 test. The result showed that all respondents applied length of salting with time duration of salting varied from 12 to 30 days, during which period 52.5% respondents did the salting in >14-18 days. The salinity was still relatively higher than that of recommended by the Indonesian Industry Standard (SNI), which is 2.0%. The respondents also functioned as marketing components; such as consumers, retailers-consumers, and collectors - retailers - consumers with the percentage of 52.5, 35, and 12.5%, respectively. As conclusion, the length of salting technology application might influenced marketing reach and the length of salting technology application mostly could only reach the short marketing.

Abstract

Farmers' behavior indicates someone already knows good knowledge, attitude and skills in rice farming activities. the purpose of this study is the influence of socio-economic factors on the behavior of farmers in rice farming. This research was conducted on 21 September - 10 November 2019 in Sumber Kulon Village, Jatitujuh District, Majalengka Regency, West Java. The method used in this study is a survey with 240 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Patani activities in rice farming are started from land preparation, selection of rice seeds, rice seedbed, planting, maintenance, food and post-harvest. The results showed that the influence of socio-economic factors on farmer's behavior in the level of siginification was 0.05 with 0.006, Educational variable was 0.094, experience variable was 0.552, motivation variable was 0.034, acceptance variable was 0.096, media information variable was 0,000 and agricultural extension variables were of 0.010. This can be seen from the contribution of farmers in social factors by 27% of the behavior of farmers because farmers only depend on rice farming activities. The reasons for choosing to keep doing this activity are, among other things, a family business.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kegiatan penentuan pola usahatani, penyusunan rencana usahatani, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, penumbuhan pola kemitraan, ketaatan atas kesepakatan kelompok, penilaian usahatani, peningkatan kelestarian SDA, pengelolaan usaha kelompok dan perorangan anggota kelompok terhadap produksi. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan lokasi di Kecamatan Susukan, Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel kelompok tani dengan menggunakan stratified random sampling, diperoleh 92 kelompok dan masing-masing kelompok diambil 2 (dua) ragam responden yaitu pengurus dan anggota, sehingga jumlah responden sebanyak 184 orang. Analisis faktor-faktor dalam kegiatan kelompok tani dan pengaruhnya terhadap produksi padi menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penentuan pola usahatani, penyusunan rencana usahatani, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, penumbuhan pola kemitraan, ketaatan atas kesepakatan kelompok, penilaian usahatani, peningkatan kelestarian SDA, pengelolaan usaha kelompok dan perorangan anggota kelompok berpengaruh positif sangat nyata terhadap produksi. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah perlu adanya penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani melalui kegiatan penyuluhan.Kata Kunci: peran; kelompok tani; produksi

Abstract

It is crucial to pay great attention to the broodstock or brooding period and determine the maintenance success afterward. All important organs such as the immune system, respiratory tract, digestive tract, skeleton, and fur are experiencing development during the brooding period. This study aimed to: (1) analyze the impact of broiler farmers’ behavior in the brooding period on the productivity of broiler chickens in Semarang Regency, (2) evaluate the effect of the use of equipment in the brooding period on the productivity of broiler chickens in Semarang Regency, (3) evaluate the effect of broiler chickens productivity on the broiler farmers’ income in Semarang Regency. The research method used was survey research. This research was descriptive with a quantitative approach. Exogenous variables studied include the farmers’ behavior and brooding period equipment, while the endogenous variables are productivity and income. The population in this study was broiler farmers in Semarang Regency. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Determination of samples using random sampling. The unit of analysis of this research is broiler farmers in Semarang Regency. The number of respondents was 120 people. Path analysis was used to analyze the impact of farmers’ behavior in the brooding period on the productivity of broiler chickens and the income of broiler farmers, and the effect of broiler chicken productivity on broiler farmers. The results showed that farmers’ behavior (Knowledge, Attitude, Skills, and Motivation) and brooding equipment significantly affect the productivity of broiler chickens. Farmers’ knowledge in the brooding period significantly affects farmers’ income. Farmers’ skills during the brooding period significantly affect the income, and the productivity of broiler chickens significantly affects farmers’ income.

Abstract

Fertilizer subsidy policy is an effort made by the government to provide facilities to farmers. Based on evaluation of availability and distribution of fertilizers, the government created a farmer card program in hopes of overcoming fertilizer problembs, but the axistence of farmer card program still a pro and a contra among farmers. This research was conducted in Grobogan Regency on 12 February 2019 to 5 march 2019. the purpose of this research was to analyze the attitude, motivations, adoption and the effect of rice farmers attitudes and motivations on adoption of farmer card program. The methods used in this research was survey method. The population used in this research is rice farmers who are members of the outstanding farmers group in Grobogan Regency (Maju farmers group, Margo Husodo farmers group, Karya Mukti farmers group). Research samples was determined randomly with a tota; of 86 respondents obtained from the slovin formula. Data collection is done using interviews and direct observation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression test. The result of the research showed that respondents characteristics were dominated by male farmers who were still in productive age who had a long farming experience, but had a relatively low education level. Farmers attitudes, motivations and adoptions of the farmer card program were classified as medium. Attitude and motivation factors affect adoption. Attitude and motivation variables affect the adoption variable 70,4%. Attitude and motivation variables have a very real influence on the adoption variable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik peternak, faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi alokasi waktu, dan pendapatan peternak di Kecamatan Ungaran Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2016. Penentuan sampel menggunakan metode sensus sebanyak 47 orang yang memelihara ternak sapi perah. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda, analisis one sample t test, rata-rata karakteristik peternak, dan analisis pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kisaran umur 21-55 tahun sekitar 85%, pengalaman usaha responden sebagian besar memiliki pengalaman lebih dari 10 tahun sekitar 57%, sedangkan pendapatan usaha ternak sapi perah di Kecamatan Ungaran Barat rata-rata sebesar Rp.16.534.095/tahun. Alokasi waktu tenaga kerja dilakukan sebesar 368,37 HKP/tahun yang terdiri dari ayah ibu dan anak dalam melakukan pekerjaan membersihkan kandang, mencari rumput, memberi pakan, dan memerah susu. Faktor yang signifikan terhadap curahan tenaga kerja keluarga dalam pemeliharaan sapi perah adalah skala usaha, pendapatan, dan kedua KTT yaitu KTT Sumber Hasil, dan KTT Ngudi Makmur, sedangkan faktor yang tidak berpengaruh adalah pengalaman beternak, tanggungan keluarga, dan umur.Kata Kunci : curahan waktu; tenaga kerja; peternak; sapi perah; pendapatan

Abstract

The aim of research were to determine 1) the main source of development of Cattle raising in Sukoharjo Regency, 2) to analyse population structure of beef cattle in Sukoharjo Regency, and 3) to analyse paddy straw as animal feed sources in Sukoharjo Regency. Method wereuse in this research was a survey method. Data analysis such as follows potential development beef cattle in Sukoharjo Regency, and cattle population structure in animal unit (AU). Secondary data were collected from official of agriculture Sukoharjo Regency, National Statistical Board, and Board of National Land, and analyse in accordance with descriptive analysis. Cattle density appertain rare with score 33,43 and 2) density of exertion farmer appertain dense with score 40,85, and 3) density of region appertain average with score 0,35. Maximum potential of land resources is 42.297,3animal unit (AU), capacity increased cattle population based on land resources is 23.230,05 animal unit, capacity increased cattle population by the head of family farmers is 14.490,75 animal unit. The value of land capability index was 1,95.
