Abstract

A thin layer is a very thin layer of material (organic, inorganic metal or a mixture of organic metals) which has the properties of a conductor, a semiconductor, a superconductor or an insulator. CoFe2O4 nanoparticles are very popular materials to be developed in the field of electricity and magnetism because they have cubic magnetocrystalline properties and high coercivity properties, as well as medium saturation magnetization. Sol-gel is one of the techniques in the manufacture of thin films that involves chemical processes in the form of hydrolysis and condensation reactions. Sol-gel dip coating is a technique for making a thin layer that has several advantages, namely a simple method, easy, few precursors so that it saves production costs and does not damage the environment. XRD test results of a 0.20 M CoFe2O4 thin layer found a peak in the 2Ө 18.1152 region with a diffraction pattern (111). The highest UV-Vis absorbance peak at a wavelength of 285 nm was 2.5423 A and the lowest bandgap value was 2.79 eV. The resistance value is 6.46 and the resistivity value is 0.00016225 m.

Abstract

The study of butterfly in the in Air Dingin Landfills needs to be carried out to find out what types of butterflies are in this area and how their diversity is, given the increasing area of Landfills that will change the surrounding environment into a place of rubbish heap. The study was conducted by implementing survey method with insect net. The collection of butterflies was carried out in 2 periods (2x6 = 12 days) in April-June 2019 during sunny weather from 09:00 – 12:00 of Western Indonesian Time. All butterflies were collected at ±5 m distance from the collector. The data was analysed to calculate abundance, relative abundance, frequency of the presence of butterfly, and determine diversity was conducted by using the Shannon-Wiener Index and Evenness index. The results obtained 5 families, 14 genera, 22 species, and 220 individuals consisting of 122 males and 98 females. The diversity index value obtained was 2.27 and categorised as the medium category it is mostly because, as assumed, the environmental conditions of the Air Dingin Landfills were still in good condition.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang kineka transpor fenol melalui membran kloroform dalam teknik membran cair fase ruah telah dilakukan. Proses kinnetika ditentukan dengan mengukur kosentrasi fenol yang tersisa di fasa sumber dan yang sampai ke fasa penerima perwaktu, dan dimonitor dengan Spektrofotometer UV/VIS pada panjang gelombang 510 nm. Kondisi percobaan diatur berdasarkan kondisi optimum yang telah diperoleh oleh penelitian sebelumnya, di mana fasa sumber mengandung 6 mL fenol 2,13 x 10-4M pH 2, fasa membrane merupakan 30 mL kloroform dan fasa penerima 12 mL NaOH 0,1 M. dari hasil percobaan menunjukkan, pada temperatur 304 0K system transpor fenol memenuhi reaksi konsekutif irrevesibel orde pertama. Konstanta kecepatan transpor fenol masuk membran (k1) adalah 0,046 menit- dan konstanta kecepatan transport fenol keluar membran (k2) adalah 0,054 menit dan energi aktivasi sistem transpor adalah 21,941 KJ/mol.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan kompos dari daun kakao sebanyak 1500 gram dengan activator kotoran kambing dengan berat 300 gram dan bakteri Pediococcus pentosaceus Sebanyak 1 x 109 CFU/mL difermentasikan selama enam minggu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan kerja dari activator kotoran kambing dan bakteri Pediococcus pentosaceus dalam pengomposan limbah daun kakao, Nilai Ph, temperature dan kadar air di analisis secara berkala. Persentase kompos yang terbentuk selama inkubasi enam minggu yaitu 56,94 % dengan kadar air 60.34%, suhu 28oC dan Ph 8.93

Abstract

Population growth which is increasing rapidly every year is one of the factors increasing public interest in consuming drinking water from refill drinking water depots (DAMIU). Based on BPS data from the city of Padang, all households in the Kuranji sub-district have used refilled drinking water as a source of drinking water. However, compared to bottled drinking water produced by the industry through an automated process and accompanied by quality testing before being circulated, many DAMIU business managers are not aware of the importance of government policies regarding quality testing of refill drinking water so that a lot of drinking water from DAMIU is declared does not meet drinking water requirements. This study aims to obtain data and information about the quality of drinking water on drinking water DEPOT in Anduring Village which includes physical and chemical parameters of drinking water (pH, Odor, Taste, Color, Turbidity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Total Hardness as CaCO 3 ) based on PERMENKES RI No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 . This type of research is classified as laboratory experiment research, to obtain primary data and secondary data. This primary data is obtained from the results of laboratory analysis through samples taken by non- probability sampling with technique convenience sampling while secondary data were obtained from historical reports and published document data which were used as reference and interpretation of the analysis obtained. The results of this study indicate that one of the depots from the three depots as samples in this study was declared not to meet the drinking water quality requirements for one test parameter, namely the pH parameter, while the other two depots were declared to have met the drinking water quality requirements for all tested parameters.
