Abstract

E-money is a type of electronic or digital payment that replaces cash payments. These technological developments will have an impact on reducing the use of cash. The use of e-money possibly affects stock, which is a form of securities. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to assess the relationship between e-money and stock. The study uses the two-stage least squares model to analyze quarterly data for 2011Q1-2019Q4. The study found no relationship between stock and e-money in Indonesia, whereas, in Thailand, there was a relationship between stock and e-money. There is no relationship between e-money and stock in Indonesia and Thailand. The study recommends the Indonesian government or central bank adopt the policies that Thailand has implemented in stock that affects e-money. Stocks can affect the use of e-money due to the profits or losses of the stock that will impact the use of e-money.JEL Classification: D53, E40How to Cite:Aimon, H., Sentosa, S. U., & Mahatir, M. R. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of interest rate and bank-specific to bank loans growth and also analyze the causality between interest rate, bank loas growth and economic growth with inflation rate in Indonesia. The type of this research is descriptive and associative. This research used secondary data from 2006 Q1 to 2015 Q4 obtained from the related institution which is analyzed by using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method and Vector Autoregerssion (VAR). The results show that interest rate (BI Rate) affect bank loans growth in Indonesia while, bank liquidity and bank capitalization positively affect bank loans growth in Indonesia. It also show that there are causality between interest rate and bank loans growth with inflation rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to knows and analyze the impact of Indonesia investment abroad, foreign direct investment and external debt to foreign exchange reserve. This research use ordinary least square (OLS). The result from this research is Indonesia investment abroad have significant and negative effect to foreign exchange reserve in indonesia. FDI unsignificant and positive impact to foreign exchange reserve in Indonesia. External debt have significant positive to foreign exchange reserve in Indonesia. From this research can be suggest that government and BI should be notice macro economic condition that impacted to balance of payment an stability of foreign exchange reserve, Indonesia’s government should be fix the resources that will increase FDI and foreign exchange reserve can be accomplish.

Abstract

This research purpose are to the analyse the influence of long-term and short-term internal factor variables (interest rates of Indonesia Bank and Indonesia national income) and external factor variables ( net exports of Indonesia, US foreign interest rate and US foreign inflation) to the rupiah exchange rate against dollar in Indonesia. Methods that being used are Error Correction Model (ECM), the estimation result show that (1) in short-term interest rates of Indonesia, Indonesian national income and net exports in Indonesia caused shocks to the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar in Indonesia, (2) on the long-term national income of Indonesia, US foreign interest rate, and US foreign inflation has a significant influence on the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar, (3) in the short-term the US foreign interest rate and US foreign inflation does not cause a shock to the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence between monetary variables consisting of foreign investment and inflation on economic growth, and the influence of non-monetary variables consisting of total labor force and economic growth. The type of this research is descriptive research, where the data used is the time series data from 1984 to 2015 obtained from the World Bank and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) website, which is analyzed by Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the monetary variables of foreign investment have a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia and inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia, while the non-monetary variable is the total labor force has an insignificant and positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia and Government spending has a significant and positive impact on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of foreign direct investment, inflation and exchange rates on the export performance of the Indonesian manufacturing industry. This type of research is a quantitative, descriptive and pertinent research method. The data used is the secondary annual time series data from 1980 to 2019, it will be obtained from relevant institutions. This study uses the multiple linear regression analysis model and the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method to determine the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variables. The results of this study also show that foreign direct investment, inflation, and exchange rates have a significant impact on the performance of Indonesia's manufacturing exports. In addition, some: (1) Foreign direct investment has a positive and significant impact on the performance of Indonesian manufactured exports; (2) Inflation has a positive and significant impact on the performance of Indonesian manufactured exports; (3) Exchange rate There has been a positive and significant impact on the performance of Indonesian manufactured exports.

Abstract

This research purpose are to the analyse the minimum reserves, inflation, third parties fund and interest rates on investment loans  in terms of lending of investment loans in State Banks in Indonesia. Methods that being used are Ordinary Least Square (OLS), the estimation results show that minimum reserves has a significant on the lending of investment loans in State Banks in Indonesia, inflation has a not significant on the lending of investment loans in State Banks in Indonesia, third parties fund has a significant on the lending of investment loans in State Banks in Indonesia, and interest rates on investment loans has a significant on the lending of investment loans in State Banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effects of inflation, education, wages on employment opportunities and poverty in Indonesia. ative. This study uses data from the Central Statistics Agency in 2012-2016. Data analysis used is silmutan panel data method. The results showed that partially (1) inflation had positive and insignificant effects on poverty in Indonesia (2) education had a negative and significant effect on poverty in Indonesia (3) wages had a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in Indonesia (4) influential employment opportunities positive and insignificant towards poverty in Indonesia (5) inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia (6) education has a negative and insignificant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia (7) wages have a negative and insignificant effect on employment opportunities in Indonesia .

Abstract

This study research  determine the effect of (1) Education on Economic Growth on ASEAN countries, (2) Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Growth on ASEAN countries (3) Labor on Economic Growth in ASEAN countriess using the method of multiple linear equations with the Least Square Panel Model using panel data from 2012 to 2017. Results of estimation from multiplier linear equation shows that (1) education has a possitive significant  effect on economics growth in ASEAN countries (2) Foreign Direct Investment has a possitive significant  on economic growth on ASEAN countries and 3) Labor has a possitive significant effect on Economic Growth on ASEAN  countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of economic growth on criminal acts in Indonesia, the effect of education level on criminal acts in Indonesia, the effect of unemployment rate on criminal acts in Indonesia, theeffect of poverty level on criminal acts in Indonesia, and the influence of economicgrowth, education level, the unemployment rate and the poverty rate togetheragainst criminal acts in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive andassociative. The data used is secondary data. This study uses panel data, whichuses data from 32 provinces in Indonesia in the period from 2014 to 2019 using the Fixed Effect Model approach. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Economic growth has a positive and insignificant effect on criminal acts in Indonesia; (2) Education level has a negative and significant effect on criminal acts in Indonesia; (3) The unemployment rate has a positive and significant effect on criminal acts in Indonesia; (4) The poverty rate has a negative and insignificant effect on criminal acts in Indonesia.
